^o^ So happy to see the mention of axem rangers on the front page.

Have you gotten around to playing SM-RPG, yet? In all honesty I try to push that game on everyone I know who's looking for emulators. I can give you all the necessary links >_>

He won't be needing an emulator. If all goes well, Ivan will have his Wii soon. He would like to play SMS first though, since that is going to be World 5. Axem Rangers won't be till later.

ok I deleted all my application cache and content cache now unless extra files for this game are hidden in my temp files somewhere. I'm still getting this glitch.

Can't complete 1-2 because after I turn in the key she is stuck in unable to change her vertical position I don't know why. This time it happens after I turn in the key, but I turned it in after she banged another goomba while holding it.

And the nurse pill no longer works.

Testing world 1-2 with peach acceleration on this time...

Ok I didn't screw a goomba, used peach acceleration, was able to complete level.....

Just tried that, but my outcome was a little different. After I got the key and then fucked a goomba, I turned in the key. I then couldn't exit the level, pressing 'up' in front of the exit didn't work. Then I jumped and now Peach won't land.

Oh, and I can't kill myself with 'delete' either.

More weird stuff happened. I exited the level with the cheat, then warped to the village with no music (LAGOB). I left and got back to the world map on level 2. But upon leaving the map back to the campus, this happened.

Yeah, the game turned dark on me for some reason.
But here is the really interesting part. It ONLY HAPPENS ON HIGH QUALITY! Changing the quality makes it better, until you switch back to high again. It persists even when going in and out of a level. But only on the worldmap.

My WII is arriving soon (black edition), then I'll play it ;) A thing I would like to be really certain is if Paper Mario TTYD, on a 40' LCD, will show pixelated sprites with ugly borders. If so, its another reason to keep on Cute Peach game, which will retain vector graphics quality at any resolution (development halted right now due to priorities).

The problems of 1-2 are surely less severe than LALEM and LEGOB bugs, but still annoying, I understand :evil:

The problem is that the 'key' bug only happens in certain situations. I need more information but I'll be doing a 'battery of tests' anyway.

Actually, LEGOB. (LALEM is Level After Level). LEGOB is Level GoBack problem. Anyway, I will check.

EDIT: As expected, Sherlock. Problem with...BUB-ULBER (can you believe on this)?
The same problem as Charlieton. Want to know the real culprit? Simple. Its the TIMER FUNCTION that makes those creatures walk, stop... They need to be unloaded from memory BY FORCE.
I'll upload a fix soon. EDIT: DONE! As I've said, LEGOB is now a 'disease with a cure'.

For about the Cobrat, they do have sexual organs. A bit of searching will give you some good information. Here is what I found:
Snakes have 'vents' where their sexual organs as well as their excretion bits are at. The males have their penises there. Yes, penisES. They have two. They come out of the vent and enter the cloaca (excretion bit) of the female. During sex they wrap up around one another and are known for having long sex, ranging from an hour to a whole day!

That ought to be enough, right?

Game 'school': I started to play Super Mario RPG, after 17 years!
Question: I want to recreate Pipe House, then Peach can enter in Mario room. Where to put it in? In the village?

Is your Wii in?!

Aaaaand it begins already. Now you are going to get ideas for every single little thing in SMRPG, expect at least some resistance at times. Of course, Mario's Pad is important. Don't put it in the village though, Mario's house should be a little more special. It seems your map could use an update to have Mario's house there. You could turn the T-junction that leads to the village and the lab into a cross-intersection. And by going straight you will reach Mario's Pad.

Lol. I might like this game, I dont know. The intro is a bit unexpected (you know, mario already there, then FIGHT! Then chains, then FALLS then 'GOES UP', you get the magic word) but I enjoyed it.
You will see I was not 'TTYD' exclusive. I was just taking the best of TTYD (at least from my concepts).

Ok I will think about it. I really prefer the medieval fairy tale/resemblance of classic Mario, where Mario does have a home, sweet home since he left his normal world.

Your idea of Mario is warped, let me tell you that. You just gotta know that this game is MADE by Square, so they took a lot of liberties. I still feel it fits in nicely in the Marioverse though. Just don't complain about looks and such.

The PS way would conflict with the new hit algorithm. We could make it an option, but look at how many we already have! You KNOW we can't cater to everyone. And people would have to know what the options are, so it would have to come up when you first start your game. So someone is eager to play and the game is like:
"Would you please choose from these 57 options what you want 'on' or not?" It would take (at least) 10 minutes to start the game!
Or would no one mind?

I rarely use an emulator. Well, if the 8 bucks version has better graphics/music, for sure I'll buy it ;) If Nintendo does that with its former games (WII version being an improved / overhaul version), its another good reason I should sell my SNES.

Not at all. When Peach if Fire Ebony Peach, getting hurt will make her ebony Peach with lingerie mode. If again, she will be ebony naked. When taking Burn Mushroom, it will act like Poison Mushroom. Just a way to give people more variety. I even thought about giving fire abilities to naked Ebony Peach but this can be brainstormed.
The idea is to make Peach get 'burnt' and this fact giving her fire abilities. But once LOCK mode is on, peach can be vanilla at all times, even taking Burn Mushroom.

The graphics aren't improved for the Virtual Console (VC) version of the game. But if you have a SNES, just play it on that. You had one the whole time?!

I knew you HAD a Wii, but not that you still HAVE it. And I believe SMRPG is a pretty hard game to come by for the SNES, that's why I never thought of that option.

Ok, time to add my opinion on a few things.

I really like the cobrat, but the ninji looks weird to me. I guess it is because I am used to the sharp pointed look from SMB2 and your version is rounded and it kinda makes him look chubby.

It seems that you are going kinda crazy with the idea for the mechanics with Fire Peach. The idea to be able to change back and forth between regular and fire/ebony Peach while playing the game does sound like a neat idea, but honestly, your idea sounds a bit convoluted. Give me some time and I will see if I can come up with something that isn't so weird with the way Peach changes.

As for a different power up for the striker outfit, why not use Biles's soccer mushroom? SMB Strikers is a soccer game after all.

And so you know, SMRPG is one of my favorite Mario game, I am a big RPG fan, but if you start going crazy with SMRPG ideas like you did with TTYD I will be one of the first people to step in and tell you to tone it down. :D

I have a SNES, not a WII. My friend has a Gamecube. When I said 'I've played SMB1 to SMB3 there', I mean SNES.

Be my guest. But we should consider that the initial MIM concept (IMIM) from PS is enticing because of those. I remember searching for more Burn mushrooms just to see Peach naked ebony, because it was like a really special item (as you dont have a way to change peach character). In MIM PUT you can still change character/lock it, but as a default, people will be able to feel the expected action. I fear many will like it.

But seriously, like Darthan said, it is needlessly complex. To think that you are turning one of the easiest 'pick up and play' games into a confusing mess.

It depends. I am betting I know at least just as much as Darthan does about SMRPG. We'll see, we'll see.

Not at all. The player just start the game. All is default. He will be burnt Peach upon taking fire/burn powerups, or in touch of fire. He will like it. Wait. He didnt like.
OPTIONS -> set character and LOCK=ON. Thats it.
