Finally got around to say something about the screenshots.
First: Thank you for sharing them with us.
Second, the artwork looks amazing especially for what you call rough sketches.
Third (not about the screenshots): When I read about your plans for the sheer amount of otions and variables you want to implement I got mixed feelings. I'll admit I have absolutely no experience in coding when it comes to flash, but that sounds like a lot of work.
Don't get me wrong, I love the ideas about the game recognizing your preferences for example. But even without the coding aspect this means a tremendous amount of work when it comes to writing the dialogues. And that's just the example I'm most familiar with. I won't even start thinking about probable scene variants as far as graphics are concerned.
OK, by now you're probably asking "what the bloody hell is he going on about?" so I'll try to cut it short(er). You have a comparatively small team for what you are trying to accomplish here. As far as I can tell from what you post here, your pacing yourself, taking your time in order to not burn yourself out (and get this project in accord with the demands of real life). So please keep doing that. Don't overdo it. And if necessary be ready to cut some corners when it comes to the options ingame. Sad as that may seem/sound.
I'm not trying to demotivate you or tell you how to do your game. Nothing would be further from me. I love every single aspect you've shown us so far. And that is strange, considering what I already wrote about me not being a fan of dating sims.
And I just realized I'm rambling and experiencing difficulties expressing what I mean in English.
Well I still hope I got across what I was trying to say.
If you stumble across any typos, you may keep them and rear new ones in your basement.
