Dead Dapper Gent,

your idea of a Pokémorph Game is just as awesome and amazing as the original idea by humbird0. I love your work.

SO I WANT TO CREATE POKÉMORPH GAMES TOO. For every generation of Pokémon Games I want to create a Pokémorph Game. The problem is I do not have the skills to accomplish his. I ONLY have Ideas. This is the ONLY thing I ALWAYS have. And I have many Ideas. Great Ideas. So please help me - no - please let us work alongside each other.

Winter is coming, and you know nothing, Jon Snow.

Sorry, couldn't help myself!

Let me tell you this, I started with only having ideas. I didn't get my art tablet until after I started the project and wound up changing art styles halfway through chapter 1. But what got me started out was simply planning the game, to a certain point. After failing to get a writer and programmer (specifically one knowledgeable in Humbird0's editor) I decided to take on the full project by myself. Art, programming, story writing, the only thing I wasn't doing was spriting (big thank you to geist/ninjician for coming along amlmost immediately). Then Val came along and took over programming, Bubba later popped in and offered his services as well. Moral of the story, just having ideas is one of the greatest places you can start at. :]

And with that said, feel free to send me a pm. We have Pink all planned out already (minus a few locations where we need filler events) with only the plot for Pink II written up, but that's a long way off. Still, go ahead and send me a pm and we'll see what we can work out.

To send a PM, you need 10 posts on the forum. If you're unsure of how to get more posts, try looking through some other forums, especially General Discussion, and that may make it easier to get to 10 posts to PM other users.

Ha, nuuu.

I don't have the hair, body or even gender to pull a Ygritte off. :p

Also, what Zeus Kabob said. You can post here...7 more times or so (not in succession!) or browse around general discussion and comment on random threads.

Ideas are where I started also. I've been generating ideas for games since I started editing for Morrowind, about 12 years ago, and I've got a whole slew of them by now, some completely original and some less so. If you would like to rectify that lack of skills, I highly recommend downloading and playing around with the editor version of this or humbird's game (they use the same editor), or check out https://www.yoyogames.com/studio if you want more flexibility in 2d game design. The Unity 3d editor http://unity3d.com/5?gclid=CjwKEAjwp56wBRDThOSZ3vqGzmESJABjNaj91_mOZR-IFvkK6rj6A1ZqHASzN8NdOueIyGq2m6toahoCczjw_wcB is more in depth but provides support for both 2d and 3d game creation. Both programs have free versions which are quite powerful, and both have a lot of literature and basic tutorials available online. Udemy also provides courses at least for Unity (I haven't seen any yet for GameMaker Studio, but I haven't really looked). Personally I think both of these systems have higher potential than any Flash program, and maybe that's why I haven't actually done anything yet with my trial copy of Flash Pro

I haven't gotten much accomplished in the art department. Spent the last week and a half sick.

Added Psyduck to the pokemorph list and Blackbelt, Dr. Magnus (redone), MESA Recruit, MESA Veteran, Prime Agent, Prime Lieutenant and Sailor M to the trainers.

Edit: Added Horsea as well.

Edit 2: Added Snorlax.

I've been lurking around the site and tried a few games, you convinced me to finally make an account, after a bit of peeking around I'm not sure if everything I wanted to thank you for (like making Mankey look like Gary) was your doing or not, but I appreciate what you've done, and a good amount of the features. I'm still figuring out the tool for editing, but I love being able to tinker with things to visit the testing levels, hop over to cerulean and whatnot, so thank you for including the editor with the download. I might have focused on the woman a bit since I'm less into things the less human they are, and turned her power up a tad.

Mankey looking like Gary is coincidental. I didn't mean to do that. I'm glad you liked the game so far. I'm not sure which woman you're talking about though.

The editor (and program) that we use is the one that Humbird0 designed and is using for his game. That's all him! You can shoot over to his Pokemon Hentai game thread to relay the thanks if you want. He was actually the reason why I stopped lurking myself a couple of years ago. And was the reason I decided to start making a game myself. :]

Mankey looking like Gary was my doing. I needed a "default" art for pokemon as a placeholder since we had no art for certain varieties, so I grabbed something convenient. If I had a ninja monkey, I might have used that. But considering this is pokemon, you guys might have thought that was an all new pokemon, not a default art!

Well, if you're into more human, I think humbird0's Pokemon Hentai game [link=]http://www.legendofkrystal.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2027[/link] might have what you're looking for. Gent and I both prefer a bit more anthro furry style. But we also want a more driving story style, where humbird0 has kept more to the spirit of the original games with small bits of story that may or may not be related to each other.

On another note, I apologize to everyone about the delay in updating chapter 1. I've been having some motivation issues with coding the final steps in the update. And I shudder to think how long this is going to take for chapter 2 if I don't get my act together. But I'll try to do better.

Speaking of anthro furry style...new artwork has been added to the lists!

Added Jynx who is arguably a furry character. Eevee had her art updated (finally!) and is definitely a furry character. I also added Seymour, who is definitely not a furry character, to the trainer list. Additionally, I'm adding in a 'problem pokemorphs' section to list pokemon I'm currently having issues with drawing and could use some concept ideas for, if anyone would like to make any suggestions/examples for. That'll be located above the main list.

Staryu I kinda figured would have its chest stone be a turn on spot, although having it become what the boobs are colored on could be an interesting twist. Clefable would have to be a larger morph I would think.

By woman I just meant the human called Woman.

Humbird0's game uses a human in armor (or at least, so it looks to me) with a ruby bra and facemask. I think it would be more interesting to use a humanoid starfish (face popping out of the top arm, the rest of which is stylized to look like hair) who is wearing the gem on a kind of harness, and with her boobs sort of popping out over the top. I've tried sketching my idea but I can never seem to get it the way I imagine it.

The trainer called "woman" is a leftover from humbird's game. The intention is that she never actually appear in game, since the rest of the trainers will be from the game series. However, I'm glad you're having fun with it.

Have to say, i was a bit skeptical. But this is really really good. I'm seriously impressed. Have you guys thought about patreon? I don't know about others, but i'd support it quite happily.

As for pokemon ideas, the rock pokemon will be pretty hard (no pun intended) to make sexy. Geodude, gravellar, golem, onix etc arent exactly femenine. Not to mention very difficult to make anthropomorphic since they are mostly spherical. Same problem with voltorb and electrode. I'd say the best ways of dealing with them would be:

1. Make them male.

2. Make them regular shaped girls in appropriately shaped armour / hair styles.

3. Make them fat girls.

4: Make them muscular girls. After all, there are those females out there that do have muscles and can pull it off. Whether or not one is into the bodybuilder type is up to them (not my thing), so really it's finding that right balance of femininity and muscles. Just look towards the Machop line to understand that.

Also Onix can't be all that fat... at least not as Onix.

I've actually been surprised and pleased by the rock pokemon I've seen so far (and we have full battle arts ready for geodude, onix, and graveler; golem is still pending). We just need to get work done and actually code/release the next chapter to bring them into the game.

Regarding patreon, we haven't discussed it. Unless it helps inspire new artists and coders to join the group, I'm not sure what the benefit would be as far as production. We're both dedicating as much spare time as we can to finishing the project.

As an update, I've finally finished the last of the event coding for the re-release and bugfix of chapter 1. Just need to do a few more test runs to make sure I don't release more annoying bugs than before.

This was the original Staryu concept I did but I don't think it will make it into the game. I think it's okay but there's just something...off about it. Maybe it's missing something or the pose is wrong or....something. It's why Staryu made it to my problem pokemorph list.

One of these days I'm going to figure out how to post the pictures instead of linking to them.

It's comments like these that really just make this project that much more worthwhile. Hearing that people are interested, impressed by the work gives us much needed confidence boosts when it comes to productivity. So, thank you for that. You have no idea how much we appreciate hearing stuff like this. :D Though, out of curiosity, why were you skeptical?

::scratches chin thoughtfully:: You know, when I'm doing my artwork I often think about ways to thank the team for their hard work other than giving them continuous virtual pats on the backs. If I could pay them - or more accurately have patrons pay them - for their work that would simply be amazing! If we don't do it for Pokemon: Pink then we might do it for the sequels that we plan on doing (gods of masochism and the internets help us!) I'll have to talk with the team about it.

Also, pun was totally intended and you know it. +2 DG points

Aside from the fossil pokemon, we have all of the rock ones done. Exception being only to Golem who hasn't been touched yet as it's not anticipated until later chapters. Although some extras have been added to the currently anticipated list I recently redid the chapter breakdowns and reorganized the pokemorphs in order of when they should appear in game. Of course, that doesn't stop me from jumping around on occasion. Also, I think my Voltorb turned out pretty decently. Turned it into a sexbot. Electrode will have a similar makeover.

Speaking of which, there's a link on the main post but you can find the list of completed pokemorphs at the bottom of the first page. The current list of problematic pokemorphs can be found at the top of that. It'll be updated with each chapter. These are the chapter 2 morphs I'm having issues drawing up: Staryu, Starmie, Clefable, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, Tentacool (needs to be redone), Weezing (maybe, might have an idea).

Which reminds me, I added Weepinbell and Victreebel to the pokemorph lists. 41 pokemon down! :D ....110 more to go... :(

Edit: Oh, as for the second thing that Val said about patreon....the greatest benefit would be expanding the team. I know Val is struggling to do all of the coding himself and Val and I decided that we wanted to add a lot more artwork to the game and are still in need of a sketch and scene artists. I'm trying my hand at the latter but...it's not going well.
