Alright then, since you asked for it.
My biggest quirk since it has been implemented into the game is the running.

There are so many things that seem slightly off.
First of all, the running animation itself.
Peach runs fine, as long as she isn't wearing a dress. You'll notice that her dress cuts in half during running, as if it's pants. That's odd.
This means that in order to get me fully satisfied on this, you'd have to make a separate running animation for dresses.
This would be difficult considering the vast number of suits as well as a good chance of slipping up and creating a whole bunch of graphical glitches that need to be resolved. Someone would have to create this animation as well.

The second thing is the running physics.
I think you need to run quite far to get to running speed, but whenever you jump or turn around, the speed gets reset. In the actual games, Mario loses a bit of speed, but not all. This means that by running to the left a bit and then back to the right, you'd get up to full speed quicker.

In SMB3, when you are up to full speed and keep running, it never runs out, but in this game it does.
It only ran out in SMB3 when you are flying.

Another point with this is that there are many walls and pipes you can run into and fill up the meter, even though you are not supposed to.

The third is the flying physics.
When you get up to speed and you need to get up, you press the jump button repeatedly.
That is fine, you do that in SMB3 anyway. But ascending requires you to mash the button quite a lot.
You don't seem to ascend as much, so it is difficult to get up.
Also, in SMB3 you held down jump to glide, but in this game you have to mash the button either way.

Finally the sound effect. Is it just me, or is it particularly irritating in this game?
Either it's too loud, or its too slow. It's a minor point, but I'm okay with it in SMB3, but not in this game
for some reason.

Was that everything? I think it is. So as you can see, I have a problem with every single aspect of the running and flying. That's pretty harsh, I thought.

You probably see why I had refrained from typing this until now.

But let me tell you this one thing. This game is truly amazing and the fact that I'm nitpicking this much means that you're game is so good that this is the only thing I can do to make it better.

Thanks for the consent man, you're awesome. I advise to play SMB3 a bunch of times to get a bit of a feel of what needs to be improved.
1.
In Super Smash Bros Peach runs with her body tilted slightly forwards, holding up her dress. So if we're going with changing the running animation for the dresses only, that's probably what it should look like.
And what do you mean with fly in the run state? You can't run while flying and you can't fly while running with the dresses, only as a raccoon.

2.; 6.; 7; and 8.
Again, play SMB3 to get a feel for the speed.

I might be reading your comment wrong, but I think you understood my post wrong. I meant that your running stops after a while if you keep running forward without jumping or stopping. And that is exactly how SMB3 didn't work. You kept your running speed as long as you held the run button down.

5.
I believe it works with every pipe, but if you want a good example, go to the pipes with the piranhaplants in level 1 and run into it from the left side.

I will check Super Smash Bros movies. I've never owned a N64, only Nintendo.
EDIT: People say Peach doesnt appear on SSB, only in Super Smash Bros Brawl and Super Smash Bros Melee. I can't find a video of her walking for me to get an idea.

Oh sorry I haven't explained. I said that 'I will check 'peach always running if run is pressed' -> it MUST be set that way, not cancelling running. I remember this feature you've mentioned from SMB3.

Just made an account to say you've made an amazing game. Just one thing though; for picking up the vegetable - is it possible for you to animate a squatting animation for it? It's more consistent with the original and also will look sexier. Potentially could also use it for frog skin as well ;)

I highly advise watching videos of Super Smash Bros Brawl, as that is the best looking game, so it is easier to see the pose and all.

You're completely correct! I just played it again myself. I got confused and mixed it up with SMW. In SMW you do have a slower descent by just holding down the jump button. That doesn't mean that it wouldn't feel better control-wise.

I've also got the sound down I think. It's much softer and nicer on the ears in SMB3. In particular the NES Version.
The running speed also builds up faster.

In SMB3 there are six arrows and then a P. In MiM AE, theres' five total.
When you're running at full speed and then turn around, you lose three bars (The P and two arrows).
That translates out to two bars in MiM AE.
However, if you hit a block on your turn-around, you only lose two bars. Might want to keep that into consideration.

One last thing, the piranha plants in SMB3 come out and retreat a bit faster than in MiM AE.

I'm gonna play a little more tomorrow and I'll let you know what my findings are.

hi there, i'm new to the forums and i just want to say i love what you've done with the game and whenever i see an update, my heart skips a beat! there's just been a few things bugging me about the game though. like for one, the lactation milk drops seem kinda off from the nipple, and when i try to use the abilities of tanooki or fire peach, it doesn't seem to work. (another thing that bothers me is how the hands seem strange during tit fucks on larger breast sizes... like she's only groping the small size.) this is just the opinion of a newbie, i don't expect my comment to turn the project on it's ear, but i'm just batting out sugjestions on the matter, and although they're small opinions, i really think it'll significantly improve the aesthetic of the game. thank you for your time. (:E

Confirmed that Morton's dick became more flacid and smaller in the end. Normal behaviour. Less blood in corpus cavernous.

I just prefer to let it as is. The player needs to keep pressing jump button to avoid falling, its more challenging.

I've tested it right now with the SMB3 cartridge I still have. 2 seconds to fulfill the bar. It takes almost 1 second to start showing the red arrows, then it grows fast.
But, in MIM, it also lasts 2 seconds. The unicque difference is that the red arrows starts showing immediatelly.

Okay, as I've said before, its not easy to add these due to the actual Peach code (more than 800 lines of code so far, only to let her move and jump). I will strive to let it decrease only two bars when hitting a block or turn-around.

Hmm thats only a detail. I dont think its interesting to let it almost equal to SMB3. Okay, I will be glad to see your findings in SMB3. I can play everytime using my cartridge but you may find something I didnt.

(new to this so i don't know if quick post worked or not...) hi there, i just wanna say i'm a big fan of the game, and i just decided to get an account. i just want to say that this game is more dynamite than a coal mine on the forth of July! but a few things have been bothering me. i noticed that the lactation is a bit off from the nipple, and when trying to use the abilities of tanooki or fire peach, nothing happens. also, when peach is holding her breasts, her hand is in a placement that looks like she's holding normal size even though i usually play with the largest breasts. i dont expect the project to turn on it's ear, but i do believe that if these quirks are taken care of, it would significantly rise the aesthetic of an all ready beautiful game. thank you for your consideration. (:E

Hi there! Thanks. Now on the glitches.
1) lactation milk: its a limitation of the engine so far. I can let her hands change position but its not trivial to do that (not easy). At least you can let your brain get used to that like its a normal thing.
2) Tanooki has the statue ability working. Just press attack button. Leaf power and Tanooki haven't the tail attack yet. Fire Peach throws fireballs but I'm still working on it in order to affect enemies.

I didnt know you were still working on the fireballs. I was standing there for like 10 minutes spamming the button to see if anything would happen haha.

And actually, i was gonna mention the running too! But it keeps slipping my mind mostly because I never run... Haha i did it once and was like "woah!" It was weird indeed...but i forgot about it haha.

No problem, call me just Ivan. I'm working in the vegetable mechanics. Surprisingly enough, its being easy to develop so far. I'm just finishing it. But I'll be travelling tomorrow afternoon, and I will be back home on monday, so if I dont update tonight, no updates until monday.

I may use some of these as a starting point. Peach can walk like this (and run while holding her dress) but this will require four new animations: walk dress left, walk dress right, run dress left and run dress right.

And I was kidding about the list haha I'm sure you have enough to do as of now. Plus I've pretty much drained all my ideas out already. The only list we'll probably make is a bug list. That is depending if we play or not during the weekend.

Well have a safe trip! But dont actually trip(because you'll end up in the hospital)! Also, beware of stray rocks! Those little critters will make you fall faster than Peach could say "Oh no!" Haha :lol: oh boy I need to get new jokes...

It's a rare event in each country/region. Sometimes four per year, or less. Riding in group will depend on the riders. Some like to talk during some miles, others just like to ride alone. There are others that like to compete, even without being a competition. I will take care, thanks. The worst problem is when the bycicle breaks or a given mechanical piece goes bad :roll:

Hehe, Peach will be busy with her new vegetables soon.

Bugs... I need to take care of the remaining ones.
In the meanwhile, new Peach action with vegetables is almost over. It took me hours to complete. But no sex scenes yet. I think I will be able to upload it in the next minutes or an hour.

If I got Flash, would it be possible for me to play any level at will? I'd like to be able to just play level by level that way I can see what bugs are where one at a time. Having a Level Select option after one beats the game would actually be a good idea.

People would be able to help you out alot that way since they wouldnt have to play everything again to get to a certain level.

Haven't you read the first post in its entirelly? ;)

-Cheat code: (CONTROL+0 to activate it, then 'PAGE DOWN' to go to next level, or 'PAGE UP' to be almost cumming, 'HOME' to spawn goombas, 'END' to spawn shyguys). This is for testing only (or if you are tired of trying to go to the harder levels). Bonuses will be disabled and the score will be zero in each level!
