We can't, there are many issues at foot there, one, Humbird0's engine is pretty broken, two we can't get to that coding for only Humbird0 can fix the core of the engine.

Also, that is pretty broken english you got there.
I might not create games, but I will test them, Then I will give advice on what I think needs to be added, removed, or improved.

Hehe that's a lot of broken :D but yeah, we don't have access to a flash editor, or anyone who knows how to use one if we did. I barely managed to figure out how to insert our own pictures in the intro cycle over the month I had access to a free trial of an editor. I wouldn't nearly have the level of expertise necessary to bugfix the save menu.

As for news on the newest version, we are working as fast as we can on it. We've recently had our first ever programmer volunteer to help, and he is currently familiarizing himself with the program we are moving to. We're finally progressing past the very basic problems and talking about starting to add pokemon and stats. If you're looking for a release date, I'm afraid I can't provide one at this time, but we are hoping to make a demo release by the end of the year, after which we should have enough engine structure in place to start rebuilding the maps and story content from the current version while continuing to work on the engine.

That's great! Keep posting random shit all over the forums until you can PM (I'm kidding. But seriously, it does take a lot less time if you post in more than one place) and I can add you to the conversation with our other coding volunteer. Tell me more about yourself; what languages are you familiar with? How skilled would you say you are in those languages? Have you worked on any projects before that I could take a look at? Do you have any experience with any game-making engines such as Gamemaker, RPGMaker, or Unity? And what have you done with them?

p.s. I won't be offended if the answers to all these questions is nothing. But it will likely mean that you'll be an apprentice coder while you develop your skills.

I'm familiar with and programmed in C, C++, HTML, Java, Python, SQL, and XML. I'm learning javascript and php. I programmed a jumping game in python using pygame that was controlled via brainwaves through a EEG machine. No other games, but a lot of small projects for classes. Graduating in spring with my Computer Science Degree. I've worked with a old version of RPGmaker. Not Gamemaker or Unity but I'm a very quick learner. And i don't mind being an apprentice coder because this would be my first team project.

just thought I`d let you know that Gastly`s front link has an extra "h" in http and so isn`t working unless corrected, not a major issue, but for the sake of players looking through you may want to fix it

also Persian`s/Nidorino`s Horny, as well as Venonat`s Front links need spaces before the http, Ninetails` front and horny links are reversed, Blastoise`s header is misspelled as "Blaistoise" on this page

Those are all the errors I could find in the list as of 10/21/17

I have a problem that has basically rendered the game unplayable. Once you get the eevee morph and report back to professor oak, and you leave the first town to head back towards viridian and whatnot...there are hostile trainers in the field, and for some reason every single time one of them sees me and approaches me to do a pokemon battle thing, the game just...freezes.

Well, we never really did mess with the HTTP version do to those reasons. Considering we are going to go into a new engine (current focus) I doubt we will go back for those.

That sounds like a like something I have crossed before, was able to fix from just redownloading it again. Are you playing via flash or web?

I am at a loss on what to do. For over two hours I've tried to get through Viridian forest, where the 2 small trees are. But as soon as Eevee tries to figure out which way to go, the game freezes. I've tried updating, I've tried redownloading, I tried using the different programs. The save file does not load in the other options, just a black screen.

Whoa mama. Looks good. Maybe once the ball starts really rolling we could get some actual seasonal events in the game? That would be hella hype.

If we ever get to the point of pumping out content regularly we may be able to do something like that. Or at least build quick events based on the holiday pictures. Or maybe just set up an in game time system that so that the events trigger naturally. Though currently there's no gaurantee to any of the above....but I'd like to dream.

Like we had in our first Christmas holiday picture? :P
