Biles Wrote:Going rated-G on all games since reviving the video game market in the '80's has been their curse I'm afraid.
G? You mean 'rated: general audience?' The letter is E (everyone). The current Rating system (AFAIK) is http://www.video-game-addiction.org/vid ... tings.html
Yes, they prefer 'E' rated games all the time. Well, I prefer E and XXX games than games with suffering/gore/blood.

Yes, we dont know what he's been doing

It is a tourist site, it is normal to have more modern things for tourists. It's what happens to most of Cuba where such tourists could only use mobiles phones.
Haha got it. Well, let's see how 6-1 will appear.

I like some Nintendo titles (obviously) but not enough to buy a children's console. Let's face it, Nintendo is ignoring the fact that there are more adult gamers that child gamers and that is why they are loosing.
That's true. Much more true due to the fact many Nintendo gamers in 80's era are now adults (Bingo!) But they prefer to catch younger audiences.
Elerneron Wrote:They should stop making consoles and focus on putting their games out on the leading consoles (Xbox and PlayStation) like Sega and Atari did back in the day (for Nintendo consoles). Nintendo is failing to evolve with the changing environment and will need to change to try to stay in the game. Either start making a quality console that is equivalent to the technology of your competitors, and allow for more mature games or quit making consoles and stick to putting out your games for other consoles. Just my opinion
And you're so right about the second option! I imagine seeing a perfect 3D Mario game in a PS4 : )
Elerneron Wrote:(Side Note: The Atari Jaguar was AWESOME for the day . . . it just didn't have the games to support it. It was a crying shame . . . and the death knell of their consoles.)
The interesting is that Jaguar is 64bit and costed $250, and tried to surpass Genesis and Super Nintendo in processing power, released in New York and San Francisco em 1993, then 'thats it'.
A console without a good amount of games.....like a library without books...Atari failed to attract many third-party developers already committed to other game platforms, also by the complexity of their 'phone-like controller', and tons of memory bugs (the programmers ended up fixing small chuncks of code all the time). Many of Jaguar games were shooters and or war games like Tempest 2000, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D and Alien vs Predator.
But, until today, there are 'homebrew games' made for it (just search in google).
MPLDAM9919 Wrote:That's a very bad idea and a bad business move. The problem is the Wii U lacked games. Mario Kart 8 and Smash 4 will change all that. And the Wii U's a great system. It would help Nintendo if they made new IPs.
Yes, but not only MK8... but Nintendo would have been creating many more games (or letting more programmers into it). If Nintendo prefer games for the children, why not a tiny toons game? A plenty of adventure games even more than we already have? And try to make a new 'Mario of today'? (e.g. Mr John and his incredible world?) Just an example.
MPLDAM9919 Wrote:Anyways, I love that surf shop Biles made. Though I don't see an entrance unless the double-doors lead to the front of that shop.
Yes, it will be the front.
