Actually, I find it easy to finish the game given all the added stuff, you just have to keep in mind to add charm whenever possible, and get the frog ASAP to stop rent. I use the int perk to start with and usually can finish it (if I want to) by about day 80, just keeping in mind to add charm when possible (there's a few ways to spam it, not to mention purchasing charm with Mindy) and it's not too hard.

I love this game so much one of the best of this kind I've played .
Could do with a hint though how do you get the good ending I've had all Severn keys and done everything I can this of but will the devil says shame she fail driving me mad

There isn't an ending for more than four keys yet, you'll have to wait until it gets updated some more to get the best ending.

Also, hey, figured out how to revive someone. Took me a bit cuz I'd done it when someone wasn't dead and it plays out differently then. Also, happened to notice a bug where you can just spam click the resist/persuade buttons to attack as much as you want without getting retaliated. I *think* they get just as many turns when you stop, but if you keep doing it until they're dead that doesn't really matter. Soooooo, yeah, might be something to put a stop to at some point.

game seems imposable to get all the keys, pay rent,win hobo fights past day 50, pay rent and level up stats, only way to get anywhere seems to gamble and restart your game if you fail.

It's very possible. For now, focus on CHA and INT while you level your STR to 15-20. Then it's a matter of prioritizing which to level first and where you can get bonuses while making the rent.

The addition of background charaters is really nice but I just can't stand the music (we can mute it thought so it's not a big deal) I think the game is fine without it.

People can juste put whatever music they want while playing. Sound is a nice touch but sometimes it's a bit off, but you said you're still working on it so it's ok.

Considering the background characters, I found 1 in the backalley, 3 with the cars, a lot at the "porn industry', 3 in the church, 2-3 in the gas station but 0 in the prison thought, do they come after you unlocked Su ? because i didn't check back.

- Current music is just placeholder music. I would like to compose my own with an 8-bit sort of vibe, but I need to find time. Like you intimate, I don't think most people give two shits about the music in porn games anyway unless it's really really bad or really really good, and I have yet to see an excellent soundtrack in ANYTHING porn-related.

- Yeah, the sounds are problematic still. Next game I'm gonna put them in from the start and troubleshoot them as I go along.

- Yes, check the jail after you've wooed Su. Same goes for the other two female characters at their respective jobs. Main reason there's no one at the prison is I couldn't think of a reason to justify other background characters doing the nasty in the hall without her putting a stop to it on the spot. I'm too invested in realism, obviously...

Update, guys, but the game is now too big to upload onto LoK. You'll need to go to the devblog to play. I'll try to find a work-around for this, probably by embedding straight from my Dropbox, but I don't have time at the moment.

I have shit to do. Like a lot to do, but noooo, I end up playing this for hours and getting like 6 different endings, and then check the thread to find out I'm still missing like half the content. Stop it! Don't add anymore! I'll never get anything done.

Seriously though, fan-fucking-tastic game. I love it. There's so much depth, it's inspiring. It forces you to make some hard choices on each play-through, which absolutely rocks it on the replayability aspect.

Also, like $450 a month on your Patreon is criminally low. It's needs higher tiers. If you had a higher tier that included walk-throughs: $$$. I know on your devlog:

How do I do _________?

I'm not telling you! I built challenges into the game so you could figure them out for yourself.


Consider this though: I think the content is fucking awesome. However, I don't have a ton of time to work through, or happen upon all the different aspects. I want to see everything that's in the game, but I don't even know what's possible to find!

On that note, achievements could help "completionists" have an idea of what's available.

Food for thought.

Thanks! Glad you like it. Aside from the 'good' ending there's not a heeeeell of a lot more content going into the game, and even though I could totally make more cash throwing out a walkthrough a small part of me revels in seeing the comments when people discover stuff that's been built in. There are a few things in there that have been sewn into the cut scenes for a few months, now, that I don't THINK anyone has found... or hasn't commented on it, anyway...

The point on the Patreon is a good one, and I've certainly considered higher tiers. My main issue is that, right now, I don't have the time to give myself more work, and given that the exchange rate with my country means I'm getting more money than it appears there's less incentive for me to pile on the tiers than you'd think. That saaaaaaid, I'm planning on spacing out releases for a sequel game to every OTHER week as opposed to every week, so I may have more time to delve into extras. I suppose some walkthrough notes could be one such incentive.

And yes, achievements have been planned for a while now. I figured I might as well leave them 'til last, 'cause I keep thinking of new shit to throw in that would require more achievements.

You know, I got 6 of 7 keys... Mindy, Su, Guy, Sid, Amelia, Joe, Sew... W8, why did I get only SIX keys even I done EVERYTHING with them? I even cheat with WinHex to change stats and reset number of day, I tried EVERYTHING but.... How to get fuckin' key with... an eye?

Did you get both sew keys by having the devil try to kill her after you'd gotten her item?

Depends on whether you have her item. Both are pretty funny cut scenes (it is different from the standard one)

It only seems impossible on hard mode. and even that one is doable.

for the absolute easiest run put your 3 initial points in Str, pick Chr as your perk.
First day visit the pub 3 times. Second day visit the pub 2 times, unless you got a freebie you are now at 0 monies with one stamina point left.
Do a hobo fight, as you will notice you don't need the $20 down payment to start the FIRST fight. you should win about $50 now with your final stamina point go hooking at your favorite location.
You should again get about $50 covering rent for the second day. The next couple of days you should focus A on making rent and B raising Chr whenever possible.
Do this until you unlock the cars at about 15Chr. Now raise your Str a bit to about 7-8 then continue to raise your Chr to about 18 to unlock the movies.
Once you get the movies raise your Str up to 13, unlocking Sew (but don't go there before Str is at about 17 as the chance of getting $0 is rather high here) and raise your Int to 13 unlocking the library and the sewers.
Remember because you picked Chr as your perk you will occasionally get a free Chr point so this will keep going up.

If you follow this "guide" at the start you should be pretty solid to keep making rent even after it rises. Or you could be living rent free at about day 50. As far as I know there are now 3 ways in the game to get rid of the rent if you so choose.
Should you be thrown into prison, your Str should be the determining factor if you should spend all 3 actions there or just one. If your Str is below 15 you will fail often and, as such is it better to go once a day satisfying the legal system and the hooking and raising Str until you are in the clear. If you are above just go all out to satisfy the 20 days as fast as possible.

One more thing to note that isn't mentioned in the game ... you get an extra stamina point at 37 and one more at 70. So it is worth wile raising your stats to that level. Raising Str beyond 70 is useless, as all bosses can be beat with Str in the 40-50 range

I second what Spartacus said just above. I used pretty much the same strategy without the initial hobo fight.

One thing to note though is that you need to sleep at Sew's house a lot and have her item. So once your stats are high enough, you should unlock her house asap. Jail is a higher priority though.

The biggest thing is getting STR to at least 12 when Su busts you, it is unlikely you'll find Su diligent when you are *serving the term* then. Maybe 17 STR for Sew's business so Sew won't muscle in and take your spot.

Regarding which is best to use for the perk - STR, CHA, or INT...that really depends on your own style. Each has different pros and depending on what interests you, each one can be very rewarding!

I tend to go Chr because the Chr movie event is ridiculus overpower as it is right now +3 Chr and tripple money? Also the prison warden event is borked right now giving you double money (correct) and not costing stamina (bug)
Also prison is avoidable if you get to the movies early enough. You only get thrown in jail for hooking to much at PUBLIC locations. So if you rush to the movies you can get sentenced to jail on your own terms.

That said normal mode is pretty easy, so you can pick whatever perk you want. My predesposition to picking Chr also stems from the days that Str was capped at 18 and Int at 200. Right now Str is capped at 70 and Int at 400 so hitting those limits is harder :)

I typically go int and just rush to unlock the library as soon as possible because the event there is pretty fantastic, and then the car event for no stam triggers a lot so you can make tons of money with that.
