Bio: Cairi grew up in the same town and attended the same high school as Aileas. Despite their personalities being practically the opposite, as well as Cairi coming from a middle class family, they ended up being quite supportive to one another and quickly became close friends. This friendship was only strengthened when both of them gained their powers in sophomore year. Cairi struggled heavily with depression and social anxiety, being quite the stereotypical outcast, making her relationship with Aileas being all the more abnormal. However, it was thanks to Aileas that Cairi never attempted suicide, and managed to view life in a slightly more positive light. She does still struggle however. As for her home life, her parents aren't exactly the greatest. They aren't abusive but they have one of those 'these damn kids and there phones, and hard work solves everything' mentality. They find Cairi to be incredibly lazy and only wishes for attention when talking about her depression. This causes her to mostly seclude herself from her parents while at home. By the time she got the letter about the college, she was working part-time in a bookstore and was only days away from getting kicked out of her home. It was quite the life-saver all things considered, only made better when she found out Aileas also received the same letter.

Personality: Cairi is a very reserved and timid person. Having social anxiety, she does her best to avoid others and doesn't exactly go out of her way to become noticed. However, this does not render her incapable of gaining friends or talking to others, and once she feels comfortable around another she tends to open up quite a bit, becoming more excitable and overall friendly. She also has depression, but this has recently lessened thanks to her friendship with Aileas and the advent of her powers. She does still have depressive episodes, but she feels like she has worth now. She is fairly smart as well, getting a 3.4GPA in high school.

Bio: Aileas was born to a very poor family, in the wrong part of town, working as a runner for drug dealers when she was 9 years old. This, eventually, had to come to an end, however, as one day she accidentally led a rival gang to her boss' hideout. While she made it out unscathed(Due to her kinetic absorption, unknown to her), the rest of the gang did not. While Cairi was fully aware of her activities up to this point, she could only plead for Aileas to get out of it while she could, not thinking there was anything else she could do being unaware of her powers. After the final shoot-out though, Cairi did manage to convince Aileas to get off drugs and at least attempt to turn her life around. Having grown up in the same town and attended the same highschool as Cairi, they are extremely close friends, nearly inseparable, despite having practically opposite personalities. This extremely strong friendship was only further strengthened when the two of them learned of their innate latent abilities in their sophomore year. As for Aileas' family, her father has been in the hospital for years as a result of falling down some stairs, she barely knows him. Aileas' mother is dead, due to falling asleep in a tub of Ice Cream after a bout of depression, resulting in her drowning. Aileas' sister is rarely home, as a result of turning to prostitution to pay the bills, and her brother, who is usually at home, repeatedly raped her nightly until he ended up being sent to boarding school.

Personality: Aileas is egotistical, rude, outspoken, and an attention-seeker, above all else. She views herself as above all others, and if she believes that someone isn't aware of this, she will harass and bully that person relentlessly to make them aware of that "fact". The one exception to this rule is Cairi, who she will go out of her way to protect at all costs, and who she views as the only person she can freely associate with on an equal level. She also views Cairi as the cutest person in existence, and loves to see her smile, desiring this to such an extent that she tries to spend every moment that she can with her.

Bio: Penny came from a fairly well- off family. While she wasn't the best at anything in particular, she did try her best to endure and climb her way towards the top few. While that alone made her a person of admiration and envy among her peers, it didn't particularly help that her mother was very pretty, and as she grew older, she began to resemble her more and more, especially where it counted as far as boys were concerned. She tried to laugh or brush it off as much as she could, until one day, she simply wished that she could vanish from their sights.

She was 15 when that wish came true, when she manifested her power. It was a particularly harrowing day of trying to avoid people, when suddenly, no one knew where she was. She hadn't moved, or spoken, but to them, she was gone. She couldn't control her power well to begin with, but as the years wore on, she began to start to gain an understanding of how to trigger her power and when to keep it off. When the letter came, she didn't have a choice but to go. Nothing and nowhere else had even begun to describe what she was going through, but maybe this school could.

Bio: Bristol Patch was born in a rough neighborhood, one that hardened and changed her. She was raised by her single father after her mother's death. Growing up in her neighborhood was harsh. To live, you had to have a dangerous mentality and be willing to fight, or else you'd be taken advantage of in any number of ways. Her father had made sure Bristol knew this when she was ready, and he'd often spend days teaching her how to fight and defend herself, as well as how to stay under the radar. The last lesson was especially focused on for Bristol, as at a young age, her father had discovered that she had powers.

Her father caught her playing UNO with a clone of herself, and after freaking out over it, he had his daughter promise to never tell anyone, knowing that anyone who'd hear of this would want to use her for their own purposes. Of course, this ability was still a useful weapon in the dangerous world they lived in, so he did his best to teach her how to wield it as a weapon. She was able to clone herself 3 times at the age of 13, and knew enough about fighting to make each one at least a mildly dangerous foe to even high school seniors. Each of her clones also had similar characteristics and personality to her, though it was found that they would all be produced with varying behavior quirks.

As she grew up and was taught by her father, Bristol developed into a strong and protective figure. She'd get into fights with bullies when she saw them, and sometimes even impede small crimes in a minor way. She knew that any more than that wouldn't be taken well by the streets, and she knew she had to keep a low profile... but Bristol couldn't help that instinctive need to punch a bad guy in the face. That's when she started her vigilante activities. Bristol would put on a mask, and together with her clones, she'd find and stop small crimes in progress. She quickly made a reputation for herself. That's when it went wrong.

Unbeknownst to her, Bristol caught the attention of a big gang in the neighborhood called the Deads. She roughed up a few of their men and they wanted her out for it, so they laid a trap, and she unwittingly sprung it. The original idea was to kill her, but when they discovered that she was a girl (with powers no less), they kept her around. She spent months under the captivity of careless, brutal gangsters who were living a little too large. In captivity, Bristol was abused, used, and mentally worn down until—after she was saved when the law caught up to the gang—that need for justice was almost totally crushed and replaced by a traumatized, bitter young woman. To this day, she's still not recovered her want for justice.

A few years later, Bristol would receive a letter to a strange college called Eden. While initially dismissive of it, her curiosity over the letter's wording would push her into going at least just to see what the hell was happening there.

A competitor of her father's would send men to kidnap a young Eliza on her 24th birthday. On that day she would discover her powers as she was celebrating at the beach with her friends. The kidnappers attacked Eliza and her friends holding them hostage, but when the situation started to become out of hand and the kidnappers attempted to rape her, but Eliza let out a scream for them to stop suddenly a massive wave of water crashed down on the would-be rapist knocking him out. Upon hearing the scream and the crazy change in power the kidnappers gave up running away as people came to investigate. The would-be rapist was immediately arrested confessing that a rival company put out the hit on the Copperfield family. From there Eliza would private experiment with what she felt ran through her blood. creating little rain clouds in thin air and throwing balls of water around. Soon she learned that certain gestures and movements allowed her to control the water more precisely learning that she'd take up martial arts to further improve her powers. Until one day she received a curious little pamphlet to a school. she was well beyond education but she new this was to be for something more.

Bio: By all accounts, Abigail was a happy child growing up. She had a mother and a father and lived in a small suburb in the northwest. She had friends, was active in sports and was just an all-around lovely person to be around. One day while playing, Abigail at the age of 12 knocked over a vase that had been in her family for generations. Not wanting to let it fall and shatter she reached out for it. Miraculously, she stopped it with her mind. That’s when the migraines started. At first they were just quick bouts of pain followed by soreness. But time went on the pain became more and more unbearable. Doctors could see changes in Abigail’s brain but couldn’t find a way to alleviate the pain.

Abigail became more reclusive over time. She stopped hanging out with friends or participating in clubs. She became more irritable and even snapped at her parents from time to time. The migraines would always be the worst after she tried to use her Telekinesis. It was during a high school party that Abigail discovered a ‘cure’ for her migraines, alcohol. After she got completely wasted, Abigail found that the pain in her skull was gone. She could even use her powers without much agony. From that day, Abigail kept a flask in her bag to drink from. What was in it varied depending on the day.

But maintaining a constant state of drunkenness has its drawbacks. Abigail would often get into fights and miss classes. She was suspended multiple times and was barely able to graduate due to the goodwill she had amassed with some of the staff. When her parents and former friends staged an intervention for Abigail, Now 18, she left home and stayed with an older man she was seeing. For two years, she stayed in an apartment he rented drinking herself into a stupor. Sometime he would come over, but it would only be for sex. Then one day, he stopped coming to see her and Abigail had to suddenly start paying rent. With her drinking problem, Abigail could rarely keep a job for long. Drifting from paycheck to paycheck, it seemed as though Abigail’s life had hit rock bottom when a letter arrived for her….
