The Tenno appeared at the Terminus, gleaming and victorious over the Sentients. The cold and gold Orokin Emperors, breathless, bathed them in savior's silk. Then came the sound. Across all Orokin worlds, all at once, the ceremonial Naga drums. A royal salute to the honored Tenno. Ten solemn beats to declare the suffering was over.

The Low Guardians watched from a distance as the Tenno stood before the Emperors, not Stoic and Silent, but poised and waiting.

When the ninth beat rang out, a torrent of blood filled the Stadium, loosed by Tenno blades. The Tenno eradicated the Orokin Empire, silencing it forever.

A loud crash awakens you from your slumber, shattered glass and blood filling your visage, a stabbing pain erupts from your face. You reach up and feel it, and your hand comes away wet, a sign that you’re bleeding. You shove open your Cryopod, and look around. You’re surrounded by figures in white masks and teal armor, carrying crude-looking weapons. When one looks at you, you duck just in time to dodge a two-shot burst, which ricochets off the wall. When you peak over the side of your Cryopod, the figures are dragging with them your Warframe.

Before one reads through the rest of this post, it’s important to understand that for this RP to work, I must take the liberty of making several changes to the Warframe lore:

1: Rather than the organization which the Lotus leads, the Tenno in this case will refer to the warriors who previously served the Orokin Empire and are equipped with Warframes. What this means is that the Lotus-led organization does not exist in the RP, and that the Tenno will instead work for one of the six Syndicates, who have their own goals. This also means that the Tenno do not all have the same goals and may end up at odds with each other when Syndicate missions conflict.

2: Rather than controlling a Warframe from a stasis pod on their Orbiter, Tenno physically wear their Warframes as armor. What this means is that it is possible for your Tenno to be hurt if your Warframe is damaged heavily enough.

3: Everything will try to rape you.

4: The races in this RP will not be limited to those in Warframe, as such you should expect to see more than just the Corpus, Grineer, and Infested on the battlefield.

5: You will be capable of modifying your weapons with parts found on the battlefield, allowing you further customization. If you want Prime, Prisma, Vandal, or Wraith weapons or Warframes, you’ll have to modify them on your ship.

6: Your ship’s Cephalon will have a humanoid form that they may appear in, and you can name them yourself.

7: You will get one Warframe, ever, and to change this Warframe, you’d modify it like any other Warframe. You can choose to start with a custom Warframe with custom abilities, which you can choose by discussing it with me, or you can simply select an existing Warframe from the game’s wiki.

Unlike in the game, in this universe, none of the Syndicates are strictly allies or enemies, and because of this, some missions given to you by the Syndicates can align with each other, or conflict with each other. Others may be similar, but diverge at some point. Which Syndicate you choose to serve will determine the nature of your missions. Only one player can select each Syndicate, and each player can only select one Syndicate.

Each player will be starting with a Braton, Furis, and Skana. You can use the parts that are found on the Battlefield to build other weapons or modify what you have into something else.

Weapons and Warframes will be capable of different types of damage, and each of these damage types will have different effects, and will have bonus damage against certain types of armor/shielding, and may be weak against others..

Background: Regira was one of those overly helpful and friendly types. The kind that would get along with almost everyone and just wanted to do her best to make sure that the Tenno came back safely. As a warframe she was a support healer. Amplifying the strengths of her comrades and healing them when things got tough. Because of her support the Orokin had a few major successes against the sentients that might not have happened without her healing a key Tenno member or giving her teammates the edge over something they would not usually be able to overcome. Because of this she was quite highly decorated by the Orokin, despite the fact she did very little killing herself. However, near the end of the war her team was faced with their most difficult mission yet, taking on a high ranking member of the sentients with a full security detail. Her support did not help them. The sentients had proven to be to powerful for even a buffed Tenno team, and all her comrades died. Somehow, she made it out.

On the verge of death and being mentally traumatized, the almost defeated Orokin were not able to give her full treatment. Now feeling underappreciated and abandoned by her former masters, her mental condition worsened even more. Left with no other choice, the Orkin were forced to mind control her into complacency. It worked for a while, however, the Orokin were very quickly losing the war, and Regira suddenly didn't seem as effective as she was before being mind controlled. With little Tenno remaining, her support job became less and less important. Because of this, the Orokin created a new suit for her. A prototype one that specialized in making the enemy weaker over making allies stronger. However, in order to let her connect to and pilot the suit, they had to temporarily remove the mind control device. During the delicate removal procedure however, an attack that would strike the final nail in the Orokin's coffin happened. And instead of being removed carefully it was quickly and hastily disconnected. This proved to be a mistake on the Orokins part. When Regira first came back to her old self, she was mostly confused. By the time she was connected to the suit however, memories came flooding back to her much quicker than if the device was removed properly. She realized she was not only abandoned by the Orokin, but forcibly changed to suit their needs. Not only this, but when she connected to the experimental suit, the connection amplified these feelings and drove her insane. Thanks to both the battle going on around them and Regira's condition, they could not get the device back on. And in a fit of rage, Regira turned on her former masters and slaughtered the scientists. She then roamed the halls and killed both Sentient and confused Orokin alike. The terrifying screams of her frame echoed through the halls, and she showed no mercy to anyone. After the battle concluded, she sealed herself away in a secluded cryochamber with her warframe, and went to sleep.

Background: Nana Peterson has always been one to never stand out. She learned early that doing so would spark jealousy and anger in her elder sister and get her beaten. Her parents, despite Nana being the more talented child, quite obviously favored the older one and never did anything to stop this. So she under-performed, always comfortably in the middle of the pack for all things unless it was something her sister was bad at. Then she would make sure she was just a touch worse even if it was something she was great in. This was her life for a long, long time before she grew tired of these abuses and ran away. She continued to make use of her ability to fade into the background, stealing whatever necessities were needed wherever she could do so without being noticed. Still, she wass only good when going up against the average citizen.

One day she attempted to steal a few credits from Petra Lee a woman who used stealth as a weapon, and was very easily caught. Petra saw the condition Nana was in and instead of reporting the young girl, the older woman took her in. She cleaned the girl up and showed her what it meant to have someone actually care for her, only increasing Nana's devotion to Petra. She took on her new mother's last name and started learning Petra's way of becoming invisible, blending into a crowd and making anything and everything seem more interesting than Nana herself. It only made sense that she followed in Petra's footsteps and become a Covert Agent of the Orokin, slipping into and out of enemy bases without raising alarm. She didn't and doesn't care about the Empire themselves since they allowed her beginning years to happen, but she'd work with them so long as Petra did.

And the empire used that. Last Nana heard of Petra she was sent on a long term mission. She became unaware if her mother was even alive and was promised updates on Petra's mission so long as she continued completing her own. Desperate for anything, she complied. And as the war dragged on and the Empire lost more and more, she had to do more in order to get any information. In their desperation, they fitted her for a Warframe and hoped that she could use it to gather the information needed to turn things around. Instead she found information stating that Petra hadn't reported in in over 4 years.They didn't realize she'd begun picking off important officers in revenge until she stopped reporting in herself and they dedicated what resources they could into capturing her. Deciding that she was too valuable to lose, they put her on ice until they could come up with a way to control her. And she's been in cryosleep ever since.

took me way too long to make this. i reworked it multiple times to just get it sorta right.

Tenno

Name: Celosia
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Appearance: Image
Background: Celosia was one of the newer Tenno, and quite inexperienced as would be expected. She wasn't very thrilled when she saw her Warframe and was taught how to wield it. Pyrrha was a powerful fiery defensive Warframe that required its operator to be borderline sacrificial and trusting in their teammates' capabilities, two things Celosia wasn't good with. She was too careful, too awkward, doesn't like social interaction or danger, and wasn't very loyal to anyone but herself. The Orikin Empire wanted her to be everything she wasn't, and she had no choice in the matter.

From there, the young Tenno was given to an experienced squad. She was a rookie, and they were supposed to teach her everything she'd need to know. One of the other Tenno in the squad commanded a Warframe much like hers, called Ember. Since their Warframes were similar, her teammate had taught her much on how to use Pyrrha. She was closest with this person, but Celosia would never say they were friends. Ember's Tenno was a serious and no-nonsense intense type, which clashed horribly with Celosia's loner and selfish nature. She never even asked the Tenno for her name, instead taking to referring to her by her Warframe's name. Ember reciprocated.

One of the missions they were on went wrong, and half of Celosia's squad was wiped out. The Sentients had laid a trap and picked off their leader early in, and chaos ensued from there. Celosia only survived with the help of Ember, who took control of the damaged squad and got the survivors to safety, though it was at a steep cost. A trap it might have been, it was still a mission and they had an objective to destroy valuable new weaponry that the Sentients would take to using. Since they failed, a great many Tenno fell to these new weapons of the Sentients. It would forever be Celosia's greatest regret.

Celosia got off the lightest with the punishments. Ember was the one who took command and carried most of the blame for issuing a retreat, whereas Celosia was simply a rookie who followed orders. She was placed into another squad from then, never to see Ember again. That was when she met her new squad. They were less cold, but her relationship with them was no closer than a cordial business relationship. She'd never see them outside of work, and she never cared to know their names.

One day, their leader approached her, asking her a series of questions about her life, her opinions on the Orikin, and her desires. She found it all very strange, but she couldn't have imagined the reasoning behind it. It was revealed after the questioning that he had been testing her. To see where her allegiances laid. He told her of an opportunity, a chance for the Tenno to get the recognition and appreciation they deserved. Freedom, away from the Orokin Empire. And he asked her if what she'd be willing to do for such a world. Celosia, while a little skeptical of the hypothetical, figured she'd do a lot for a world like that.

When the ceremony began, she had been with her squad. Celosia was well aware that something was going to happen. A plan to end the Orokin Empire and free the Tenno. When the bloodshed began, she was made fully aware of the steep price it would take. She thought she was ready, she thought she was willing to stoop that low to achieve the world she wanted... but that didn't stop the horrifying screams from haunting her. Celosia broke down in combat, the pressure overcoming her just after she bloodied her hands. In the ensuing chaos, she fled.

It would be a long while before she saw civilization again. The panicking Celosia had gotten into a cryochamber, where she would sleep for some many years...

2: Homing Lights - Pyrrha unleashes 3 balls of plasma that slowly moves towards heat signatures, sticks onto them, and explode.

3: Incinerator - Pyrrha creates a bright plasma shield that incinerates projectiles.

4: Cosmic Inferno - Pyrrha superheats an area, incinerating all targets within it.

so I really like warframe and I really like this idea but I wont have time until sunday or monday to make a character. But if thats cool Ill go ahead and reserve a slot? (i'll make a character work for any syndicate)

I can wait, and if more than six people apply, I can make more Syndicates. Unless we hit, say, eight, the sign-ups will be open until next weekend.

So I had a hard time finding art that I liked, this is some concept art for a spider themed warframe. Just immagine this plus a bit of “Lady Spider” from Spider Man 2099. So the frame has four extra limbs that are centered below the shoulder blades and above the small of the back. That can be fully articulated and rotated.
Gimmick: Recon, capture, and kill
Warframe Abilities.:
Passive: Tremor Sense. The World is one big web. Araneae can feel the movements of creatures around her through vibrations in the air and most solid materials (like floors, walls ceilings)

1: Cacoon- launches a ball of super sticky substance at an enemy/small area

2: Sting- Fires a large spike/dart coated in neurotoxins

3: Repel- Aranaea pulls herself to an object/enemy or pulls an object/enemy to her (maybe affects multiple targets?)

4: Swarm- releases X amount of tiny poisonous “spiders” that wreak havoc

Welp. Finally got my sheet filled out. Hope I get some of my favorite weapons to drop.

Background: Aer used to be normal. Well, normal for a citizen of the Solar Empire the Orokin wrought. It used to be just the two of them. Father and her. Her mother died of complications during her birth. They weren't part of the nobility, so there was no second chance, no Continuity for Her. She always enjoyed listening to music. Her father taught her to use a mandachord. Oh, how she used to carry it everywhere with her. Making tunes wherever she went. One of her dreams was to one day apprentice under Archimedean Sude Jara.

Then came the Zariman 10-0. Oh, how she wanted to forget that time. Aer watched as everything went wrong, how her father became... something else. How she tried to tame the thing now coiled within her. The songs of the mandachord gifted to her from the one person she cared about was the only thing keeping her sane. How the Dax swiftly eliminated those still out of their minds. And then, there was darkness.

The next time Aer woke, she was on Lua. She was no longer a citizen of the Empire. She wasn't even a test subject. Now? She was a demon, a monster with no place to go but their cages. That's when she met the Archimedean, Margulis. Oh, she was a balm to their aching spirits. She cared. Even when the frightened ones lashed out at her, costing her sight. Even when they became monsters, she cared. Even when no one else would. Once her mind stabilized and her powers now under control thanks to Transference Therapy, she became herself again. Making songs on the mandachord, asking Margulis to teach her just about everything. She was a curious sort, and always sticking her nose where she didn't belong. Even when Executor Ballis showed up. Turned them into weapons. When he asked her what weapon she could bring to the battlefield, she showed him her mandachord. How he laughed, not mockingly, but with a glee that raised chills from her. They created for her Octavia.

When Margulis was executed, Aer was lost once again. The others too. They kept losing everything they cared for by the Orokin, so it was time to take something that the Orokin cared for away as well. She was to be the starting signal. The Song which would bring destruction. Octavia's Anthem. And the rest would become history...

Since nobody wants to take New Loka, this is the NPC that will be the New Loka Tenno for the RP. I'll be putting up the IC post tomorrow or Sunday.

Background: Alexina had been ready for the war against the Sentients to end as soon as she had been pitched into the middle of it, she hated to watch from within her Warframe as it ripped enemies to shreds and devoured their remains. Of course, this is exactly why she had been equipped with the Warframe that she had; it would do the fighting for her, and only needed her there to be kept from attacking allies, and for Tenno powers to function. However, all of this is exactly why when the Tenno turned on their Orokin masters, she hesitated to stop her own Warframe. If the Orokin were ready to end an entire race, why would they stop at that race? They have an unbeatable army, in the form of the Tenno, they could kill anyone who opposed them now... of course, when she saw all of the corpses, cut to pieces, and the ashes of the Orokin Empire, scattered to the wind... she realized that this isn't what she wanted.

Name: Typhaeon

Appearance: Image Image
Typhaeon is a 12 foot tall, feral Warframe, covered in black armor with red trim which lights up and slowly dims, like a pulse. Its head isn't so much a head, but a large, gaping maw, which shreds and devours all in its path. Its arms and legs aren't so much arms and legs as giant masses of muscle, which reduce enemies to bloody mist on contact.

Warframe Abilities:

Passive: Devour: Typhaeus bites and eats its opponents flesh and armor as it fights. (Engaged or Short ranged attacks steal HP from the target and add it to Typhaeus. Corpses can be eaten to restore a portion of Typhaeus' HP.)

1: Typhaeus pounces on a target, knocking them down with enough force to create a shockwave, which stuns the target and nearby enemies. (Pounce from Long or short range, to engaged range, dealing damage and stuning the target and enemies in short range for one turn.)

2: Typhaeus shifts between Beast and Humanoid forms(Beast form grants +30% speed and strength. Humanoid form grants +50% armor and +30% Dexterity.)

3: Typhaeus crunches down on the target and sends a pulse through the target, which syphons off their energy. (Deal damage and steal 50 energy from a target in engaged range)

4: Typhaeus enters a state of uncontrollable rage and attacks all enemies around it. Starting with the closest, and moving on as they die. (Typhaeus gains +50% armor and +50% strength, and always attacks the nearest enemy for X energy per turn. Every enemy killed during this ability will be devoured and restore health. Typhaeus can't cancel this ability once activated, and can't use ranged weapons or retreat.)
