Which is equal reason to abandon it now and come back for the remaining supplies later. Assuming from the character PoV that it is just a Wolf of Unusual Size (a WOUS), what use would it have for our extra gear?

well i sort of get the idea we wont be getting out of the city once we go inside. But i think my only issue is not actually knowing what the gear is? It is a diplomatic mission right so its not like its extra combat gear. But is there food, money, intelligence information.

To help with your decision, I'll give you some extra info.

First, Litchstadt and Schwarzberg have long been rival cities ruled by competing noble in the country of Hamelion. When Litchstadt was named the capital, there was much resentment in the city of Schwarzberg as they saw themselves as the cultural centre of the country. I want to keep some of the other details to myself for now but suffice to say a force from the capital might not get a warm welcome.

Second, as for the supplies on the cart. There is food and medical supplies as well as a few combat items since the notion of a "Plague" is still under suspect. But more importantly, your map of Schwarzberg is in the cart.

Third, I didn't necessarily say you had to fight the wolf to get your supplies ....

i don't really have an opinion on this. i think the supplies could be useful and i'm confident we could defeat the wolf without much lost (if we had to fight to begin with), but i wouldn't care much if we try to evade it and leave the supplies. just my $0.02 if my input's needed.

actually, while making my post i just remembered; my character's essentially a prisoner at the moment, so where would her weapons be?

Just took notice for the first time. My Fireball spell can cause burn, but burn is not listed among the status ailments right now.

So it is still close enough to attack right? Don't know fast it is moving, assuming it can move up to its speed I cant keep up. But if it is still in like engaged range im gonna go for another attack

Yea it's still in engagement range. It's moving slowly just trying to get away so you can land another attack.

With Alane heavily injured, I just realized we never specified how we were distributing the supplies we got after the wolf encounter. It would really be nice if she had one of those Rations right now.

Yea We've been going pretty fast recently. In the next few posts, I'm gonna slow things down so we can catch our breath.

I'm also gonna add a few new special actions and adjust a few values for some of the status effects once combat is over. Check the opening post for more details.

Sure, you can either help him/her out and take them both down or the three of you can make another escape roll together just to get Robert out of there.

i was actually gonna wait and have her give a funny reaction at the end, though. but on second thought, it'd be weird if she just watched the whole time and neither keira or robert noticed her reaction.
