Analytical and curious, Caelic is often carries herself with an air of intellect and is always eager to the idea of discovery. Inheriting her inquisitive nature from her mentor she often questions anything and everything about her surroundings. She's often blunt and rather serious rarely being able to comprehend or take a joke. For her own believes she often refers to her life as her work. A strong desire to become superior to all chemists around her. With those she is friendly with... she will often try to force or gain a sense of humor. Strangely enough she is far more emotionally open around strangers, but she finds herself to restrain thoughts and emotions for those she cares about.

An orphan with no memory of her parents... the only memory before her apprenticeship was that of a collar around her neck as a child. As a child to be bought by a man in a strange mask... and the first words he offered her after painful needles were inserted within her arm was... "Do you wish to be my apprentice?". Caelic didn't speak or answer until two weeks later to provide an answer. Years passed and slowly becoming a young woman as her father figure took pains and efforts to teach her the craft of Alchemy as well as the means to live on her own. Once ready he gave her the necessary materials to set up shop on her own. Encouraging her to visit her at some point in the future.

How does this character sound when speaking(Dialect, voice, etc): Has a deep voice with an inflection that alternates between faintly British and flat, with the British accent coming out when he is exercising less control of his voice; like when he is very angry. His speech is usually unhurried and usually well enunciated, though when he feels rushed he can speak quite rapidly and may slur his words.
Personality: Generally kind. He's patient and willing to listen to others' problems and tries his best to see things from their perspective. He isn't particularly assertive, but when he has his mind set he can be quite stubborn. Though one might not recognize it immediately, because he's had years of practice to overcome it, he's retained a bit of shyness from his youth.
Skills: Consolation (he's good at comforting others), spear fighting, archery
Things this character is bad at: free climbing/climbing trees, fishing, ignoring suffering (if he's sees someone who's in pain or needs help he feels the urge to help)
Stats:
HP: 10
MP: 10
Speed: 2
Dexterity: 2
Strength: 3
Mentality: 2
Charisma: 2
Toughness: 2
Race: Human
A comprehensive backstory on your character will help determine their class, reputation, and starting location:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Born and raised in Azraq. His childhood was decent, by his estimation, although he wasn't sure what he wanted to do when he grew up. He had two younger brothers, and both of his parents were present throughout his life. He became inured to death at a young age due to attending a bunch of funerals for his relatives, both of his parents came from large families, the many deaths were mostly statistical unavoidabilities. His parents were fairly well off, financially, although their relationship wasn't very close. Their poor relationship was further damaged by their differing ambitions for their eldest son. His mother wanted him to be a soldier; she felt the profession offered glory and good social standing, and would help give his life structure. His father wanted him to be a merchant; to provide wealth, keep him safe, and increase the range of potential spouses. He followed his mother's recommendation. His parents have since seperated and he doesn't see either of them frequently, though he sees his mom more frequently than his dad because she went out of her way to visit him more often. He enlisted in the Azraq guard in his eighteenth year and now, after seven years of dutiful service he's quit to become an adventurer and see the world and do good deeds. With a combination of money he earned in his service, and savings from before he started his career, he's equipped himself with arms, armor, and a horse and has set out on his adventure. To identify what his equipment is, look to the picture where he's on a horse, also the sword from what he looks like out of armor.

Character's Full Name: Selvaria Vaimel
Appearance(A solid description and/OR a picture will due): 32 years old Female, 5'7, 150 lbs
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Image

Her usual outfit
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Image

How does this character sound when speaking(Dialect, voice, etc): Selvaria is generally soft spoken and has a somewhat high pitched voice.
Character Personality: Many would describe Selvaria as lazy, although this isn't entirely accurate. She's very hard working, but only when given the proper motivation, which is typically money. She like to feel useful, but her only measurement of said usefulness is how much she's paid for what she does. Her professionalism when on the job is unparalleled, but when she's not working she limits her interactions with others to what she deems necessary.
Skills this character has(List three): Scouting, Sharpshooting, Working with machinery
Things this character is bad at(List three): Dealing with people, intense physical labor, completing tasks in a timely matter(unless paid sufficiently)

A comprehensive backstory on your character will help determine their class, reputation, and starting location:
Selvaria was born in the harsh cold of Calt and found herself orphaned at a very young age after her parents ran afoul of the Kingdom's guards. Their crime was beyond her understanding on that age, but her parents were either executed or imprisoned and the young were-beast was left to fend for herself. Survival was difficult, but she managed to scrape by until the flying kingdom of Cielo paid visit to her home. Where most just saw a street urchin with wings, the head of an unsavory group of individuals saw some potential. They were bandits of sorts and with her sharp eagle like vision, Selvaria would make a fine addition to their group. She could see much farther than any human and even most other were beasts, allowing the group to spot targets and set up ambushes well in advance. Her vision also made her an excellent sniper. Warning shots fired from farther than the target could see tended to spook most folks into parting with their valuables, and those who stood their ground would find a round fired between their eyes soon enough.

The bandit's MO was simple, depart from Cielo whenever it landed and head outside the walls of the city they were visiting to find some travelers to prey upon. Then they would board Cielo again before it departed, leaving a difficult trail to follow for any searching for the culprits. The group would split the loot evenly, and Selvaria would often select machinery or any kind of scrap the others didn't want to work with for her rewards. Having grown up in Calt, however briefly, still left her with a connection to the Machine God they worshiped there. As she grew older, Selvaria's work started to leave a bad taste in her mouth as she developed a sense of right and wrong, but these were the only people in the whole world who needed and had any use for her. She couldn't bring herself to separate from them.

Their plans couldn't last forever though, eventually the knights of Cielo caught on and one day when Selvaria was returning as usual, they were laying in wait for her. She was confused and panicked to find the knights in the place where she was supposed to meet up with her friends, but when one of them referred to her as the ringleader, it dawned on Selvaria that she had been set up. In despair, her first thought was to simply surrender herself to her fate, but that despair soon gave way to anger that fueled a desire to escape. Selvaria managed to flee Cielo to Azraq, where the city had been docked. With what wealth remained to her, she built a small home that doubled as a shop where she would do repairs for people, that being something she had always enjoyed. The business has been slow however, and Selvaria often finds herself taking up her rifle once more and turning to mercenary work to supplement her funds. She would much rather live a quiet life now, but she can't deny that her experience as a bandit has given her great insight into working as a bodyguard and thwarting robberies.

Name: Natliya Cain Si’Talvace
Level: 5

Stats…
Speed: 2
Dexterity: 2
Strength: 1
Mentality: 7
Charisma: 8
Toughness: 1

Alignment: Neutral/Evil (Appears Neutral/Neutral)
Appearance:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

She is a beautiful siren whose hair is liken to a blazing, orange-red flame; braided upon itself into a flared ponytail, with a set of victory rolls hidden beneath a broad-rimmed, black bolero. Set in the voluminous chaos of hair upon her brow is a five-gemmed diadem. These attributes contrast severely with her cerulean and silver eyes, set upon her angular countenance liken to twin oceans flecked with icebergs. 195 centimeters tall, or 6'4", the whole of her leggy form is indisputably that of an adventurer; lithesome and strong, graceful in execution, she carries the elegant tone of a dancer, and the austere air of a countess. Yet, her lips are ever poised upon a humble, genuine smile; full and luscious though they are. Siren through and through, her top-heavy bosom is notably pronounced by an exterior corset of silver amour, each sleeve tapering down over her long dress liken to a jacket. Silver plate adorns each of her limbs, and the sleek scabbard strapped tight between her shoulders speaks of this woman's skill. Hardly a hint of her alabaster skin remains exposed, but her features do sport one wicked cut; from overtop her right eye, down to her cheek, there mars an aged scar that is visible even upon the lid. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... 1/Nat2.jpg

Voice: Soft, flowing voice set with a neutral tone. No discernable origin.
Character Personality: An enigma; serene, zen, and fully at peace when the tides of her mind are tranquil. But if ever she is found to invest herself fully into someone, or something, and that finds her inadequate, one may well break the calm waters with a boulder. Very maternal, often in a frighteningly malicious way.
Skills:
1.) Artistry (Song, dance, music, storytelling)
2.) Persuasion (If it has a pulse, it can be manipulated)
3.) Defensive Swordplay (The tome mustn’t ever be parted from my hands)
Weaknesses:
1.) Strength (Kitten made of wet paper bags)
2.) Tends to collapse when enraged, rather than take action
3.) Tends to take most humanoids at their word; won’t open easily to others
Trait: The Lilium Mortis.
Backstory:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Many, many years ago, deep in an unnamed, ancient forest, there once stood a village of Sireni artisans, untouched by the horrors of the outside world. Serene and picturesque, these villagers lived in absolute harmony with the forest surrounding them, and with one another. All art was worshipped by them, and they bartered with one another through the exchange of art; a song for a loaf of bread; a tapestry for leatherworks; and so forth.
In that village, there were also they who dedicated their lives to the pursuit of art in a particular form or another; they were known as ‘The Lonesome.’ The Lonesome earned titles of nature, depending on their artform—the Lonesome Tigress may be renowned for her quick dance and sharp wit, while the Lonesome Oak would be a venerable spinner of great yarns, remembering the tales of centuries past in the early days of the village. And, of course, there was the Lonesome Willow.
The Lonesome Willow was the one title which each generation held in one person; if ever there was a leader of the Sireni village, the Willow would be them. The Willow represented perfection in artistry; balance in every manner and emotion, the usage of every colour upon the artisan’s palette. Each night for seven years, Natliya trained relentlessly to earn a place in the cadre of students who would be tutored by the aging Lonesome Willow, with the intent that one would take her place; the rest going on to become Lonesomes in their own right.
She failed, for her stories were much too bright and flippant to find the balance befitting a Willow.
Crestfallen, but stubborn, she decided she would become a lesser Lonesome; so she continued in artistry until the age of fourteen. That was when two storms arrived in the forestal village; the first was a great tempest, the second, on its heels, came in the form of a woman carrying a large tome, wielding a sharpened bar of metal, and clad barely in rags. Through the storm she ran, and they welcomed her in; she called herself ‘The Lily of Death,’ a storyteller from afar—the village had never once seen an outsider afore. They were quite eager to hear the tales she had to tell.
In the morrow, after the storm had passed, the village gathered to hear the stories; and listen, they did. Enraptured, enthralled, it was though the Lily had cast a spell over all of them, every word hypnotic and charming. It was as though stormclouds blotted out the sun as she spoke, and when the tale concluded, all eyes had to be shaken loose, and every head cleared.
It was later that evening that the first murder the village had ever seen took place. The guilty party was found with blood on their hands, dumbfounded, shocked, and unknowing why they had even committed so atrocious an act. They were thrown from the village and cast out into the forest. A second murder took place in the next evening, and a third, the evening after. Finally, the Willow demanded the Lily of Death to be cast out as well from the village, for while nothing could be proven, it could only be said that violence was taken after the intruder had made herself known.
Natliya picked up the Lily’s book, and in secret, met with the stranger who taught her to read from it.
The murders did not stop; Natliya never once bloodied her own, maiden hands, but instead read tales of darkly origin from that book unto any listening ear, setting the villagers, one against the other, until forty had perished from the readings of the damned grimoire.
But the village would not remain secluded forever. After two years of paranoia, the horrors of the outside world were driven by civilization’s lights into the forest, trampling through thicket and thorn to ravage and destroy Natliya’s defenseless home and people, down to her and a handful. Taking up the sword of the Lily of Death, Natliya slew every last villager in a fit of grief and rage—including her own family; her chances to become the Lonesome Willow had been ruined with the ancient leader’s death, and she would not be put so easily to rest and rebuild.
Natliya’s mind became a foreign thing from thence forward. Setting her path from the strewn wreckage behind her, she tread into the great forest and lived off the land for many, many years; until at last, the long-lived Siren emerged from the thorns and thickets to witness more listeners in the distant horizon. She had a tale penned within the tome, now … And she would share it with all.
Unbeknownst to Natliya, the book was crafted by the Lily of Death through her travels; the woman met with a blind beggar who had been cast out of society and proceeded to walk with him for many miles, telling him progressively darker and darker tales. Eventually, she bound his hands to keep him from gouging his own ears, and cut off his nose that his hearing may grow sharper. Driven mad, the man spoke nonsense and terror whenever his voice grew above a wail, and his ramblings – the captured essence of purest horror – were writ into the grimoire. It is known only by a single lily upon its leather-bound cover, and its ancient pages have seen many centuries of adventure, earning it the inventive name ‘Lilum Mortis.’ Never once has its owner been benign.

Appearance Extended...
Dress:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Bathed in midnight silk, this ankle-length dress is fitted with an inseparable belt of silver chain. Each link has been cast slender and locks flat when pulled taut, girding the waistline in even, cold metal. The clasp, by which the bind might be adjusted, is crafted as a simple pentagon which is tinged scarlet hue upon every point. Lace is sewn upon the termination of each long sleeve, black morphing into frosted coloured dye on the very extremities. Laid on the high-neck collar are twin designs, one upon either standing leaf: an aureate phoenix nesting atop a jade willow tree.

Boots:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

These boots are crafted in sable leather, strategically encased with shining silver plate, and bear an effeminate frill of silvery lace that sprouts from the topmost portion. Stretching as far as just beneath the wearer's knee if fitted properly, the leather is laced along the front with a single sinew of crimson shark hide. On either flank of the shins, silver plate keeps the spine rigid and unyielding. Embossed atop each toe plate is raised an aureate phoenix nesting atop a jade willow tree.

Gloves:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Covering the wearer's forearms in full, these elbow-length gloves are layered interiorly with sanguine leather and exteriorly with black silk. Each uppermost knuckle is pronounced with a notable inch-high spike of silvery steel, the thumbs giving rise to a low-set pyramid of metal in its place. The forearm is hidden in part by an elongated plate of sleek silver, with a frill of argent lace casting about loosely from beneath to hang down on all sides liken to a spidery web. Embossed in the palm of the right hand is raised an aureate phoenix nesting atop a jade willow tree.

Armoured jacket:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

This raiment of armour is crafted primarily of padded, midnight leather, its long sleeves stitched to darkly dyed cotton from the elbow down to the wrist. Clasped by sanguine straps of shark hide, silver plate adorns both upper arms. The chest is guarded by a structure similar to a corset, set with silver boning providing unyielding protection on the exterior. A series of identical loops traverse the gap between each half of the front, a simple sinew of crimson hue available to seal the two into one sturdy barrier. Seamlessly traversing the vertical trenches and ridges of hide and metal, painstaking detail has been spent to etch the likeness of a silvery phoenix volant on the right, front flank, with an aureate, serpentine dragon coiling ever upwards upon the left, front flank.

Scabbard:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Designed to be slung between the wearer's shoulders by a simple structure of midnight-leather straps, this black ivory scabbard is sleek and glossy at a glance. The whole of its ornamentation is limited to an aureate embossed phoenix that curls in a ferocious dive along the length of the ivory encasing. Alongside this tableau is intertwined a silvery, serpentine dragon that curls ever upwards, maw chasing for the tail of the phoenix. The base of the weapon case is covered in a jade tip, a flourishing willow tree etched within. A belt of sanguine leather affixes the design firmly to the wearer's upper waist.

Bolero Hat:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Sinister in form, this sable hat is patterned after a bolero's distinctive attributes: a broad and even rim, a tall, unyielding crown, and only a sanguine phoenix head to distinguish the front from the back. The figurine is notably smaller than its living likeness, and its eyes are replaced with one of argent seraphinite, the other a stone of glassy obsidian. A plume of eagle and swan feathers protrude from the left half of the crown, sloping back dramatically. Set upon the top of the crown is a small depression, wherein threading forms a portrait of an aureate phoenix nesting atop a jade willow tree.

Jeweled Diadem:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Held in place by a finely twisted frame of silver and platinum, this diadem fits snugly to the upper forehead of its wearer. Borne upon it are five gems, alternating obsidian and seraphinite of a silver persuasion, the centre of which betrays its kin for a sanguine hue. Each end of the jewellery terminates in either a platinum phoenix on the left, or a silver willow on the right.

Sword:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Forged from a golden alloy of the finest steel and iron, this blade exhibits a soft curve along its length, accentuated by a deep groove carved into the metal. The short tang is encased by a grip of ivory cord in an intricate twisting pattern. Rounding off the grip is a square pommel fashioned from peridot, affording perfect balance to this masterfully crafted weapon. At the base of the blade is a thin band of unknown metal that suffuses the sword with a soft icy glow.

Character's Full Name: Valeria Nerocoda
Gender: Futanari
Race: Spectross

Appearance:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

At 9'10" Valeria stands confidently in her skimpy outfit, revealing her thighs, midriff, as well most of her ass and chest. What little clothing she wore, stuck to her skin in a tight and firm embrace.
Her tail extends 1.5 times her body length, ending in a pointed tip that can be controlled to turn sharp or blunt on will.
Valeria is equipped with horns as sharp as a dagger, that resonate and glow with her current mana pool. Although she often displays them as part of her looks, they are comfortably retractable when needed to.

Image

Starting Location: Calt

Character Speech:
Valeria speaks with a confident and clear voice, her words are laced with hints of a flirtatious undertone as her body shifts and turns with each word past her lips. Valeria knows her body is objectively superior to most Spectross, and that her words are the most powerful weapon in her arsenal. She repeatedly uses baseless offers and seduction to try and slither her way beyond guards and confrontation.

Character Personality:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Aside from the planet-sized arrogance and pride of her race, Valeria comes forward to every encounter willingly offering the pleasure of her body as a solution, maintaining this facade until her quarry as at their most vulnerable before calling her beasts to attack and tear the victim limb from limb. Valeria views herself as the peak of her race, and as such holds no loyalty to anyone or anything besides herself, using family, friends, and monsters to further her interests and plots as little more than tools and instruments.

Unlike most of her kin who invest into their own strength of muscle or power of will, Valeria places her time into training and bonding with the creatures of the world, making use of the hard of others rather than sweating her own body, or wilting her mind in books and rotten tomes. By relying on beasts and allies Valeria developed her charisma and confidence to levels where she could lie to someone about their own life in the most believable way, turning friends on each other with her charm and words alone.

Skills this character has:
Seduction.
Acrobatics.
Fast reflexes.

Things this character is bad at:
Long-range combat.
Money management.
Writing.

Backstory:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Valeria is constantly on the search for thrill and excitement whether derived from combat, chemicals, or lust. Although life in Solstace had an abundant of the thrill Valeria sought, it quickly became dull and repetitive. She finds true joy in exploring new forms lust, action, and pleasure that existed beyond the walls of Solstace, beyond the ever watching eyes of her Goddess of perfection, and beyond the overwhelming convenience that Spectross had become so accustomed to.

Even within the clean and picture-perfect walls of Solstace, Valeria would often spot intruders in the form of birds and insectoid critters that slipped past most Spectross. Unlike most of her people though, Valaria always made allies with these creatures, envying the freedom they enjoyed while she was practically shackled to the city.

Throughout her teenage years, Valaria focused her studies on the various beasts and creatures of the world, learning their classification, attributes, affinities, and natural habitat. She consistently checks in with the local Guild to keep up to date with any new creatures that were identified in the world. Her knowledge and understanding steadily manifested into skills of the Tamer category, giving her access to even more details about creatures of the world as she was able to bond with them and learn from watching at a comfortable distance.

A few months after her 21st birthday Valaria saw a contract on the local Guild board offering ludicrous pay for a Were-Squid with additional details for any who take on the request. Valeria never had any intentions of capturing creatures as pets for others rather than herself, but she took on the contract anyways, hoping to take advantage of the additional information to expand her understanding of beasts not currently recorded in the Guild's Grimoire.
Although she had, over the course of her life, stepped out into the surrounding fields of Solstace, Valeria was now venturing on a task of her choosing, a task greater than checking in on the lesser races that provided for the Spectross or taming the local beasts and keeping them from assaulting the farmland. Valeria was now halfway across the continent to the north in search of new excitement, new pleasure, and most importantly, new partners to share it with, whether beasts or sentient.

Character's Full Name: Astrea Milodus.
Appearance(A solid description and/OR a picture will do): 6'6, 110kg, Were-Cow. Astrea wears a period-appropriate variation of a set of denim suspenders and woollen top. She is fit and well muscled, with a bulky build
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

How does this character sound when speaking(Dialect, voice, etc): She has a relatively deep voice, and somewhat of what one would call a 'southern drawl'.
Character Personality: Astrea is somewhat ambling, she's not unintelligent but moves through life at her own pace and is generally unhurried. She's a good girl at heart, and will offer help to those she thinks needs it, but is aware her own circumstances don't allow her to a majority of the time. While no pacifist, she shirks from outright violence whenever possible.

Skills this character has(List three): Animal Rearing, feats of endurance, farming
Things this character is bad at(List three): thinking fast, keeping secrets, stealth

A comprehensive backstory on your character will help determine their class, reputation, and starting location: Astrea has spent much of her life in the vicinity of Azraq, having travelled only where necessary. Her parents were farmers, her grandparents were farmers, and her... well, you get the picture. The land has been passed down from each generation, with it now Astrea's turn to tend to the land with false-water and to the beasts with kindness and understanding. However she has been pushed to this position earlier than either side had planned, as her parents passed from plague when she was in her teens, leaving her to fend for herself for many years. The animals helped with that. A natural connection to the bestial side of things and the farm's stock kept her from feeling lonely.

Sadly, Astrea's life was to have many more issues. From what she's understood, a monster has declared war on Azraq, putting even the outlying farmstead in harms way. With the hassle and bustle going on, she's been forced to abandon her family's life work, a majoirty of the farm's assets turned to the state's use. Now Astrea is without a home, with only a handful of animals and seeds to her name, and is wandering in search of anyone who would help her ply the land once more, to start anew.
