This RP can be considered sort of a MOSTLY Steampunk fantasy RP. In this world, civilizations are divided up into city-states, each with their own governments, strange beasts roam the land, ranging from impossibly large, to very small, from vicious, to completely harmless, as well as many races besides humans.

To the west lies massive mountains covered in pine forests that stretch far and wide, desert lies beyond those who dare cross the mountains, until they reach the sea. to the east lays rolling plains that stretch for weeks. Towards the south lies swampland, should anyone dare venture that far.

In this world, the population tries to get by in whatever way it can. Most of the planet is an unforgiving wilderness, the citystates build large walls to keep out raiders, and terrifying beasts, and the ocean is even worse, containing some of the world's deadliest creatures. The Goddess of light, Nour, has been silent for hundreds of years, and is thought to have abandoned this world, with even her most devout servants, praying to her day after day, feeling as though they've been speaking to the abyss.

What technology is available is powered by steam, with even the world's greatest minds unable to find anything beyond, they simply attempt to make steam technology smaller and smaller.

Some adventurers leave the safety of the Citystate walls to search for rumored ancient magic to make lives better for themselves or for humanity as a whole. There are tales of magic crystals, lost magic that can project beams of light to destroy your enemies, lost magic that could heal all wounds with the power of the Goddess. Wonders such as these are what is rumored to lie, hiding beyond the walls. Some would even pay brave warriors to go out and search for these rumored wonders.

Available Races:

Humans: One of the most common among the different races populating the world, they are very well balanced in terms of physical and mental capabilities, and don't really excel at anything.

Were-Beasts: Humanoid creatures who take on some characteristics and personality of common animals, gaining some of their strengths, (like physical strength, agility, or dexterity), while losing some strengths humans would typically have, such as durability or intelligence, dependent on which animal's traits they gained. They coexist with humans relatively easily, however, some have a tendency to go berserk when angered to a certain degree, but not all have this trait.(The stat adjustments you gain/lose, as well as scaling adjustment as you level, are based on which animal your Were-Beast borrows traits from. If you're not sure if your choice is allowed, please either post your question, PM me directly, or contact me on Discord. I tend to be pretty flexible, so ask away, even if you're sure my answer is no.)

Spectross: Typically egotistical Humanoid creatures, ranging from 7-10 feet tall. They have black, grey, or white skin, with visible black or white veins, and glowing blue, green, gold, yellow, violet, purple, pink, or red eyes. They also have digitigrade legs, and rather than hair, despite looking just like hair, they have many biological cords sprouting from their heads, more durable than hair, which they can control just like appendages. These creatures prefer to live away from other races, considering themselves superior lifeforms. They almost exclusively live in the city of Solstace, beyond the Forest of Silence, and almost exclusively worship the Goddess of Perfection, Avenir. There are many rumors regarding the Spectross, including rumors that they practice the long-lost art of magic.(Lower Speed and Charisma, higher Strength and Toughness)(Either Futanari or Female)

Rover, Wanderer, Nomad, Vagabond, call them what you will: Though they are nearly identical to humans, these creatures are generally shunned by the populace as a cursed existence, and rumored to be the product of Zalaam's dark will. These creatures eat their surroundings with the plague that follows them, and typically have extra organs within their body, and horns, claws, or longer canines, rumored to be for tearing the flesh or drinking the blood of their victims. Their skin is a deathly pale, and their body is covered in purple or red runes, rumored to be gifts from Zalaam herself. They're often accused of robbing graves and eating the corpses.(Lower Charisma, higher Mentality)

Niphilim: Rumored to be the sons and daughters, or simply the ancestors of a single Angel parent who blessed a human with a child, the Niphilim have skin black as the night and white or golden hair, with white, grey, gold, or blue eyes. They have great intellect and are often sought for positions as strategists, scientists, or engineers. They are highly respected and trusted by all, but are also extremely rare to encounter. (Much Higher Mentality, lower Toughness and Strength)

Were-Sectoids: Originally a sub-species of Were-Beast, the Were-Sectoids, usually referred to as Were-Sects or Buggies, were deemed "Disgusting" by the Were-Beasts and they were exiled from Were-Beast cities. Most other races tolerate them, but Were-Beasts will generally avoid social contact with them. Were-Sects can be identified by mostly-humanoid appearance, but many insect features, such as insect legs, antennae, claws, etc. (Much lower Charisma, higher Dex and Toughness)

Pale Ones: A race of humanoids which live underground, using their large claws to dig additional tunnels, and their single antenna to detect approaching Insects, their primary predator due to making their homes underground. The creatures used to dwell in swamps and ponds, however they were soon chased underground by the existence of water-dwelling predators that they could not overcome. Because they used to dwell under water, their bodies are covered in scales which vary in color from one to the next, but are pale in color for the most part. Typically when a Pale One is seen on the surface, they wear visors over their eyes to filter out sunlight, however, they aren't often seen on the surface, due to the fact that they prefer not to interact with other races, and other races prefer not to interact with them. Pale Ones typically reside in the Underground City of BuzaBuzo (Much lower Mentality, higher Strength and Toughness)

Mechanics:

The way this works is simple, I'll start by making a post, which each player will reply to, after which I'll start moving the RP along by creating individual replies to each player. Each reply will be in spoiler tags, with the player and their character at the start of that reply, so each player knows which is theirs.

Each character will have MP and HP values, these values will be refilled when an item is used to refill them, when they go up a level, or when they sleep. Sleeping is slightly different in this case, as how much HP and MP your character recovers will be determined by the location they sleep. Obviously your character won't be quite as well rested if they have to remain on guard all night, due to sleeping in the middle of a vast desert.

During combat, your character will have the option of performing a "Basic attack"(Which is any non-ability attack), which simply uses your weapon and stats to damage the opponent, using an ability(Which can do anything from performing an ability attack, to buffing your character, or debuffing the enemy character), or escaping. When escaping, your character will use their speed stat to attempt to flee from the enemy, and the enemy will have the option of attempting to pursue your character.

Weapons will have different base damage stats as well as different weapon damage dice to go with them, as well as different possible properties to influence combat.

The leveling system is also slightly different in this RP. Depending on what race and class your character is, your character will learn different skills, abilities, and gain stats in different places. Every time a character levels up, they will gain a point for Race or Class, then a point which they allocate for themselves.

Available starting locations:

Calt: The Kingdom of Calt is located in the snowy mountains of the north. Due to how few creatures are willing to brave such low temperatures, the kingdom has relatively few concerns in that regard. Located inside the kingdom, are large, powerful furnaces, used to keep the entire inner-walls warm, so that the citizens do not freeze to death. The kingdom itself is very strict in regard to who does what and when. The Kingdom's guard functions as their police, military, inquisition, judge, jury, and executioner. All citizens must worship the "Machine God" located in the center fortress of the Kingdom, a very large, metal creature, sitting on a thrown. Few are allowed to see it, and rumors spread the the creature hasn't moved in as long as the inhabitants can remember.

Azraq: The Kingdom of Azraq, located in the south-western plains, has a very good reputation among the surrounding kingdoms. They have a very large guard team, used to keep order within the kingdom, often said to be the most honorable, reasonable, loyal, and even handsome in the known world, and their general populace seems to be quite happy there. There are rumors that the kingdom, despite it's seeming perfection, hides a dark secret, however no evidence of this seems to exist, or simply has not been found yet.

Cielo: Cielo is a very strange place, indeed. Located... in the sky... the Republic of Cielo is a massive, floating land mass. Equipped with extremely powerful steam engines, as well as several sets of back-up engines, this land mass travels from place to place high above the ground, and only lands to conduct trade with the other city-states below them. Their laws are relatively relaxed, and the populace is generally viewed as friendly. As of this point in the RP, Cielo has been destroyed.

Norn: A city which resides beyond the Catacombs and The Black Hive, Norn is a city mostly populated by Were-Sects, though not exclusively. The city is actually just a city owned by a human ruler, but is most welcoming to Were-Sects, and preferred by Were-Sects. The city mostly keeps to itself and is content to sit behind its wall and hope to the great Goddess that the monsters dwelling in the Hive and Water never grow interested in what's beyond Norn's wall.

Fero: The Kingdom of Fero is located in the far west, beyond an unforgiving mountain range, making it quite a difficult trip to get to, or away from. Despite being a relatively safe distance from the dreaded ocean, the west wall is significantly higher than the other sides. The populace greatly respect their king, just as they're commanded, and give him everything he desires, as he promises to keep them safe from the dangers lurking outside. The other nearby city-states believe that the Kingdom of Fero practices magic within their walls, and that this is the reason for their reclusive nature. Others believe that their steam technology is even more advances than Cielo and Calt, however, no person has ever brought forth evidence to prove these rumors true. There are also rumors abound that their graves have been turning up empty overnight, however, these are also simply rumors.

How does this character sound when speaking: Anastasia has a heavy Russian sounding accent that makes it hard for new people to understand her. She tends to speak in a commanding voice and rarely speaks quietly.
Character Personality: Anastasia, like most other Spectross, believes that she should be viewed with utmost respect. And, while normally nice by spectross standards, is quick to anger, enough so that she had earned a reputation among her fellow species. Some say that her red eyes is a representation of the anger that boils deep whiten her at all times. She is also deviant from other Spectross in that she prefers to work for her wealth. Rather than it just being given to her. She also has a semblance of honor, though this is usually overcome by her anger. She gets more friendly towards people she trusts, but unless its another spectross, still views herself as the superior.

A comprehensive backstory on your character will help determine their class, reputation, and starting location: Anastasia lived a life like most other Spectross in her early years. Having most of what she wished brought to her on a silver platter, and having a loving family. It wasn't until she was around 11 that she grew tired and restless of this easy life. Deviating immensely from most Spectross and wanting to explore the world and adventure. She has had anger issues since she was a toddler, and had become a fighter very early on. When she was 12, she enlisted in classes for junior self-defense, under the story that in case the "commoners" grew rowdy she could defend herself. The first weapon she really used besides her fist was a hammer. Despite the instructors trying to teach her with a sword like most, she favored the hammer and other blunt weaponry, finesse be dammed. She trained and vented her innate anger with combat for the next 8 or so years, learning how to yield a variety of weapons, though she stuck with the blunt weapons, but did take a liking to blunderbusses and other close quarters guns. Having honed her strength and dismissed the fear of pain, she became a fearsome warrior that earned her a top rank in her final classes. A month after her classes ended, she used what money she had left to buy a set of ragged, sturdy armor and a crude club, and readied herself for whatever trouble she could get herself into.

Starting Location: Cielo

How does this character sound when speaking(Dialect, voice, etc): His voice is deeper than average, yet smooth and soft. Somewhat calm, in that way.
Character Personality: Amun's fairly selfish, and he can be rather cruel when he feels he's right to. Yet he can also be kind and helpful to those who he feels deserves it. He's very judgmental, being extremely critical of people, which makes matters worse since he's been taught to be a good judge of character. He's sarcastic and rude, often showing his passive-aggressive side when he feels slighted and can't outwardly oppose the one who had done so, a trait he's developed in his childhood. And of course, he's also very flirtatious, often attempting to seduce anyone who he finds attractive, and never takes a no for an answer.

(EDIT: More info added to give more of an idea of this guy. and i also wanted to hold up to the other big backstories to be honest.)

Amun Khufu is the youngest son of Ra and Bastet Khufu. His family is one of nobility and honor, and they play a hand in Cielo's politics. The Khufu family is known for their discipline, their charisma, and their intelligence, and they place a strong emphasis on one's strength and intelligence. But Amun is unlike his family. He was the youngest, and by Khufu tradition, that meant he had the least influence in the family business by default. Some would argue that such is unfair and cruel; but Amun couldn't be happier. He never had any sort of pressure on him, and could live his life they way he wanted to. While he was still a Khufu and thus had to maintain some measure of respectable nature and have some political knowledge; he also was never forced to attend any important meetings or even take special classes (though he had sat in on a few of his brother's). The only downside to it all, was that he could never really capture his father's attention.

As Amun was the least important of the Khufu children, his father spent more time with his six siblings than him. He'd personally teach them the family trade, oversee their studying and self defense lessons when he could, and take them on special outings to meet and greet with other nobles. Amun never experienced any of that from his father. The only time they'd really spend with each other was when they were engaging in family activities, which were rare. Amun had grew to resent his father for neglecting him, and had it not been for his angel of a mother, his twin sister, and his oldest brother; he'd barely have any connection to his family name, as the rest of his siblings hadn't cared much for him.

The child negligence had eventually pushed Amun to becoming a bit of a loner in his childhood, his only friend being his twin sister Patra. But when she was not around, he'd often go wandering in the city, of course accompanied by his personal bodyguards. His travels gave him a lot of knowledge of the common folk and their ways, along with... other things. He'd attract a lot of attention, and some of that attention came from older women. Of course, at his young age and due to his family situation; Amun was in no way prepared for such attention. He'd shy away from them and force himself to tolerate it all. His salvation from this and the beginning of his personality flip came about when, while on a rare family outing to have dinner with a friend of his father's, he encountered his host's daughter.

To make matters simple; she liked him, and in time, they developed a relationship. However, she wasn't exactly a good influence on him. Their relationship had started off with him losing his virginity, and afterwards, it only grew more and more sexual. He began to learn from her, developing her hedonistic principles, and though his mother had learned of their relationship, she could also see that Amun was truly happy with her. But it all ended when she was married off to another noble by her father. Neither of the two could prevent it, as their relationship itself was kept secret. They couldn't keep in touch, and though time moved on and they both had given up, Amun still had refused to ever have another romantic relationship, though he did have MANY sexual ones following their break-up.

Nowadays, Amun often spends his time engaging in debauchery under his father's nose, occasionally playing chess with his sister, and doing whatever else he wants.

Character Personality Annie tend to be calm and collative person, she tend polite to most of people she works with can come off a little shy at times when someone more loud in the room, And gets easily embarrassed when face to face with something lewd.

backstory

Annie Doyle lived a simple life in one of the cities spending good amount of her time reading mystery’s novels. Her father was part of city watch (police forces if city has one) well her mother was a teacher. Her parents tended to be rather busy with their work not really having enough time to spend with her but it didn’t bug too much as she spent a lot of time reading and doing some studying law.
When she was 16 she open up her own private eye. Business was really slow being small Job for things like “can you find my missing cat” or “my husband keep going out late at night can you spy on him.” But a case was a case and she did anyone that came along slowly building her reputation until finely gets that one case that got her notices.

It was a late night she was in her office filling out a paper work. When there was a knock on her door. Annie told them to come in. they open the door it was a woman blond hear hazel eyes. She walk into Annie office. She wanted Annie to find her lost husband who been missing for a mouth now. The Polices have had not been able to find him and have given up on the search for him. So it was Annie job was to look for the lost man.

She hit the streets talking with people that knew the guy she learn he had a gambling addiction and owned a crime boss a lot of money sense wasn’t able to pay of his debt he was kidnaped by the thugs and sold into slavery but lucky he wasn’t transported out of the city yet he working in lower part of the city. Thought some more leg work she was able get the man freedom by black mailing mob boss with incriminating evidence that could lock him away.

With the wife’s husband back in her arms the case at this point was done. Annie was back to her office waiting for her next case as brew herself a cup of tea.

How does this character sound when speaking(Dialect, voice, etc):
Shayde is an elective mute meaning that while she CAN speak normally, she refuses to unless alone or extremely comfortable with the surrounding audience (Explained in the bio!). She mainly communicates through gestures and writing though when she does speak, her voice is soft and quiet with a vaguely American lilt.

Character Personality:

Quiet and untrusting, Shayde tends to keep to herself whenever possible, rarely prefaring anybody elses company to her own unless she needs something from someone. Still, her time roaming the land conning, stealing and generally being a deviant from city to city has allowed Shayde to learn how to put on an fake air of friendliness, helpless or attraction (sometimes all three at once) that often nets her whatever it is she's after...'It' usually being someone else's valuables or information. Of course this is all for her benefit and while she has worked with others before, Shayde has never once had a problem leaving everyone else behind should things look to be turning sour.

Shayde had had it all. Money, power... the cool toys all the other kids couldn't afford. Of course she didn't actually have 'it'. Her parents did. And she loooooved it. She spent pretty much all of her younger days as happy, care-free child living in the luxury her father's Carriage building business had afforded them. What Shayde didn't realize however was that her father's business was merely a front for something a whole lot more sinister; Slavery, drug trafficing and prostitution to name just a few.

It all went wrong not long after Shayde had turned 12 when she quickly found her delightful little bubble being totally and unceremoniously popped. You see on one occasion, the only time she could ever remember him being careless, her father had left the door to his private study open after storming out with a letter clutched tight in his white knuckled hand. Shayde never did find out what it was about. In his study Shayde had eyed up the most beautiful box she had ever seen. It had been adorned with various different gemstones and it had only taken a moment for it to completely and utterly captivate the young girl. Surely a box as magnificent as this must be housing something even moreextragavant, right? right. That was her logic anyway. Her fingers almost shaking in anticipation, Shayde had slowly lifted the lid to reveal the most beautiful and ornate jade necklace she had ever seen. She stood there for moments just gawking at it and feeling an intense jealousy at her mother, the assumed recipient, whose birthday was coming up soon. It was then she heard her father stomping back up the stairs and made the decision that would radically change the course of her life forever. She stole the necklace, quickly replacing it with some junk on her fathers desk before gently closing the box before bolting from the room, just before her father had reached the top of the stairs and caught her. Sure it was a bad thing to do, but her mother already had so many pretty trinkets didn't she?

It was a small thing really, something which could have been rectified if the don of the organization her father worked for had even given him an hour to find out what had happened to his tithe instead of the handful of crushed paper and pens he had received. But you know how mob bosses are; show any lenience towards insubordination and your empire will fall.

That night Shayde had been sleeping in her parents bed after having a horrible nightmare which left her in a dry sweat, yet she would quickly look back on it as the most wonderous thing she could have experienced as she was suddenly awoken from her gentle slumber by a chorus of screams, cries and pleas coming from the main entrance to the house, just at the bottom of the stairs opposite her parents bedroom. Her first instinct had been to hide, and hide she did under the bed not long before she had seen her mother and father dragged into the room and piled on the floor. Her mother simply lay sobing on the floor while her father had pleaded and bargained with the men surrounding him, begging them to believe he had no idea where his tithe had gone, or how those items had found their way into the box. But the men heard none of it. Shayde had watched from her hiding spot in terrorized silence as two men hauled her screaming mother to the side while another two had held her father still while a third man, a huge bear of a man, had screamed at him, relentlessly raining down punch after punch demending he be given what was his until, finally, he stopped. The grim realization of why had only hit Shayde a moment later as she had watched her father slump lifeless to the floor in front of her. Her mother had come next, being screamed at much in the same way her father had, though this time there was no beating. After what felt like an eternity of listening to her mother and and whine that she too had no idea where the tithe had went, Shayde was forced to endure what she still considers to be the most horrifying experience of her life; seeing her mother being thrown onto the bed which Shayde lay under, stripped of her cloths and raped by the gang of men surrounding her until she stopped moving. With their business complete, the men had left as quickly as they had come. Still, Shayde had refused to move from her spot for a whole 2 days in utter fear they were simply waiting for her out of sight.

When Shayde did finally move, she had just stared wide-eyed at her parents for a few seconds, their lives taken away by unknown people for unknown reasons, and it had hit her like a sledgehammer. She was alone in the world and she didn't even know why. She had dropped to her knees and let out a silent scream, the plethora of noises she wanted to make getting bundled up together and becoming too big to let out all at once, as the horrible truth continued to be a reality and not some heinous nightmare that just wouldn't end.

It had taken Shayde a full week to notice that the help had gone, never to be seen again after...that night. Another thing she had no understanding off, so she had been forced to prepare her own meals to stop herself from starving. Another week passed before she began to run out of clean cloths. Another before she started to run out of food. as the weeks passed eventually Shayde knew she had to make a choice; leave or starve.

And she did leave, her mind at breaking point and body becoming perilously thin, Shayde's own will to survive had forced her to leave her broken home and head towards the nearest city. It had taken a long time and more than once she had run from a random sound along the way but eventually she made it. By the time she arrived her once pretty cloths had become tarnished and dirty leading to any passersby assuming her to be some kind of street urchin begging for money regardless of what she told them, or at least tried to tell them. Much to her horror, any time Shayde went to approach anybody to ask for help, she felt an overwhelming sense of fear towards them, especially men, and her throat closed up, leaving her standing there trying desperatly to mouth her words. It wasn't long before Shayde was force to consider doing something that made her feel sick to her stomach. Still completely greif stricken and starving, Shayde's childish mind had forced reason upon her actions as she slowly walked up to a baker's shop and picked up a loaf of bread shortly before the owner had come bounding over to her, cane in hand ready to vacate the dirty urchin from his shop. The man had abruptly stopped short as the small girl had fearfully cowered under him, loaf of bread held protectively in one hand against her small chest while the other held out a glorious jade necklace towards him in offering.Of course he had accepted it without hesitation before pushing the girl out onto the street with her loaf. In her mind, sating her hunger was worth more than that thing could have cost anyway.

And thus started Shaydes life as a homeless girl. Destitute, filthy and alone Shayde had spent the next 9 years on the streets. It had taken a long time and the total destruction of her rich lifestyle but slowly and surely Shayde regained a lot of what she had lost. She learned to think for herself, survive in harsh conditions, make the best out of a bad situation and, most importantly, how to con people for anything and everything they had that was valuable. The one thing she never regained however was her voice. Try as she might, Shayde could never bring herself to talk to people other than herself, the thought of it always threatening to break the facáde of whichever emotion she had adopted and spent years cultivating to trick and coerce whoever was unlucky enough to have something Shayde wanted.

She spent the years moving from city to city, town to town, stealing, tricking, lying and doing generally anything she could to make money off folk until she was either driven out or somebody alerted the guard to her activities or simply because she got bored of having no way to make more money.

How does this character sound when speaking(Dialect, voice, etc): Adrianna has obviously had elocution lessons at some point in her life, as she clearly pronounces each word in a very upper-class way (Whatever accent is prevalent in her home city)

Character Personality: Due to her upbringing, and the very rigid structure of her home, she tends to look down on those who she sees as being of a lower social strata than herself, often being dismissive of them if she feels her own ideas are superior, or needs more relevant. She could best be described as being haughty, but when it comes to anyone of a similar level to herself (or higher), she is very respectful of them, acquiescing to any demands made of her or her time. To her mind, society is built on rules, and it is the duty of everyone to follow them without complaint. After all, only those of sufficient merit are deserving of rising above their station. Even though she has little issue with "slumming it" if it will help her.

Adrianna was born into high society, and wanted for very little when she was growing up. Her parents got her the best tutoring they could afford, clothes that would be classed as fine at the very least, and when she was old enough to start asking for things, whatever book or nick-nack she wanted to throw herself into. For her parents, Adrianna was the continuation of their lineage, and due to be married off to a high-society member of their choosing once she had reached 18. She, however, did not have dreams of being wed to some aristocrat just to continue on a bloodline, but rather she wanted to know how things worked. Of course, she would accept marrage if it was thrust upon her, like the good daughter that society demanded.

During her early teens, she started to be what she considered very rebellious, and would often leave her home in order to walk the streets without permission from either mother or father, so that she could continue to hone her mind by tinkering with things that other people left laying around. It was this desire that saw her gravitate towards one of the smithies and, after the application of a, in retrospect, poor disguise she was taken on as an unoffician apprentice where she started to learn the intricacies of technology, how it was built, and why it worked. Of course once her parents found out about her activities, they forbade her to leave the house, as it was not seemly for a woman of her impending status to be seen sweating at some forge, but she kept going anyway. Eventually they relented on the condition that she learn to defend herself in the most honourable way - with that self-same technology that she was so interested in. It was thus that she began learning the art of simple blackpowder weaponry which, while it was a bit of a bore learning from the instructors, did allow her mind to wonder into the realm of mechanical alterations to pistols. It turned out that her ideas were far from innovative, but the seed was set - Adrianna would dedicate herself to the art of the engineer in secret, while maintaining the appearance of a lady of standing in public.

Alas, word of her activities got out shortly before her betrothal was due to take place, and it was swiftly broken off. Not that she minded, of course, as she did not care for the boorish man who had been selected for her, but it did raise the issue of finding another husband which, after the first cancellation, only made the lives of her parents worse as the scrabbled to find someone... anyone who would take their daughter, and still be of high enough standing. None were found. And so Adrianna's life would have ended there, snubbed by the elite for her activities for the rest of her days, if not for the rumors of the wonders of magic. To her mind, she saw an opportunity to find something great and wonderous, to take it apart and learn how it works, then perhaps, one day to return to her home and show all those naysayers just how wrong they are about her!

Of course, she knows very little about life outside of her city, but with enough food, some warm clothes, and some solid iron at her hip, she is confident about this new path! After all, it is her birthright to stand above the common folk and their problems, right?

How does this character sound when speaking(Dialect, voice, etc): Her tones are usually energetic or calm, depending on the situation and usually quite soft spoken with kind words, her rather high voice has a notable Noble's lilt when speaking, however, those tend to disappear when her voice takes on a harder tone, or when she deals with something unpleasant. However, no one in her home or working on her family grounds has the heart to let her know that the throaty growls and screams of pleasure stemming from her orgasms are actually quite loud. And the walls of her home are also quite thick.

Character Personality: Coming from a minor noble family that rose to power due to their great and continuous contributions to the City of Cielo, Lucia believes in the concept of Noblesse Oblige, the responsibility of the noble to be generous and contribute opportunities to the less fortunate. She's not exactly a frugal person, but she is happy to lend a hand to those who are less fortunate and can sometimes get carried away helping them with so much a task as menial labor. While most would target her as an easy target of ransom or rape, she has no qualms in fighting dirty to protect her own life or the lives of others. She has no problems working with others usually, as rarely personalities clash, but if the circumstances are right, she will attempt to curse them out which will, more often than not, be hilarious or adorable rather than threatening. Lewd acts are handled discreetly in the safety of a locked and private room, but sometimes she just can't help herself.

The house of Ludwig was not originally a part of the city of Cielo, stemming from a team of traveling merchants that eventually settled into the city. The family itself wouldn't garner much attention until several generations later, with their contribution to a radically new and improved design for the City's engines, which landed the Ludwig's a decent amount of upward mobility. The family head at the time decided to not spend the money on novelties or acting like rich snobs, decided to invest the money into a company dedicated to the continuous development of Steam Technology. At this time, they also began to work on building connections to others in the community, improving the quality of life in exchange for their support in the development of their steam technology. The fact that whenever a breakthrough was announced, the Ludwig would only keep a small portion of their earnings as a nest egg, distributing the rest as payments for the families that put in work to their company and reinvesting the rest brought them a fair around of adoration and ire.

This was the world that Lucia, or "Lulu" to those that liked nicknames, was born into. With an eldest daughter already set for betrothal, and a younger son who was ready to one day inherit the family business, the youngest daughter of the generation Lucia would often dream of going out to explore the world and make her name of the many accomplished Ludwigs her parents had often told her before leaving her to slumber. When she had eventually announced her decision to explore beyond in hopes of bringing hope to the world, her family began looking into teachers for all sorts of situations. A military trainer to condition and master her body and arms. A hunter to teach her basic survival. Steam Engineers of their own company to teach her theory and applications of steam technology and weapons. A rehabilitated ex- thief to teach her signs of danger and the mindset of fighting. The list was great, but Lucia took to learning as much as she could, even if the lessons didn't stick.

Once she was in her teens, she began to explore the city on her own. Her days would consist of exploring, then finding someone in need of some help, and she'd help to the best of her abilities. Eventually, her explorations led her to the seedier parts of the city. Seeing the downtrodden really did hurt her, and she try her best to try and improve the situation there. But soon she realized that bigger and stronger men have tried, and failed, to amend this part of the city. She vowed to help them on day. Though, something else did awaken in her: every so often, in a small and dark alleyway, she could see naked men and women rutting like animals awoke a libido that she managed to ignore for the most part, if you also ignored the fact that she once paid on of her family maids in secret to dance for her naked, behind locked doors. Or her orgasmic screams that haunted the family grounds every once in a while. Her 18th birthday has come and gone, and with the pair of steam guns and some padded clothing gifted to her by her family, so shall she very soon to make her own legend, whatever it may turn out to be.

Cee Cee was born a wild child, living among several other nomadic were-beasts. Sure they enjoyed the niceties of technology but they valued life without the rule of monarchs or false gods. Life outside the major settlements was rough. Her parents were proud and stoic warriors. They lived as outcasts, bandits, and thieves. And they were honored to welcome a new child into the world, what they thought to be their firstborn son. It took a dozen or so years for Cee Cee’s parents and the others of the nomadic tribe to find out that Cee Cee was not exactly the son they were expecting. Both her mother and father expected her to start growing tall and strong, and though Cee Cee put on some muscle and stood several heads taller than most of the tribe, her figure was far from masculine. Her hips and rear filled out, and a small pair of breasts sprouted out on her chest. The other members of the tribe soon grew to dislike her, thinking that she had no place in the family structure, and therefore had no place in their tribe. Her parents fought for her place in the clan but eventually succumbed to hateful practices of their fellow were-beasts. Cee Cee struggled under their discrimination for several years as the male members of clan made it their duty to prove she was not an alpha. Cee Cee stayed within the tribe for some time, fearful of the world she never knew. When the abuse became too great to ignore she fled the tribe to search out a new life.

She took to hunting to sustain herself and occasionally sold furs to local tanners and merchants. In the few years she lived alone she let the beast within rule her life. She became more fierce and more confident. She learned to use her many graces to convince others to do her will, both humanoids and beasts alike. Her tooth and claw style of combat could barely keep her safe but the wolf within has yet to fail her. Cee Cee finds work wherever she can but often finds herself catering to the exotic wants of the rich. Whether it be valuable beast trophies, tamed pets, or the occasional personal touch of a werewolf.

Even though this may initially illicit that she cares not about feelings, the truth is that her incompetence to appropriately comprehend and deal with them caused her to distance herself from them.
The young Niphilim is very thoughtful and cautious of everything that surrounds her. However, the way she is constantly immersed in her own thoughts would indicate otherwise at first glance. She prefers to occupy her attention with a fine piece of art or the many of the electronic devices she owns, but without them it wouldn't be hard for her to find new ways of nonchalantly distract herself from what she considers "trifling matters".


Backstory

Born in the bosom of a poor family, she lived her early year sunken in the blissful ignorance that is innate to childhood. painfully unaware of the struggles that her parents had to endure. The asphyxiating commands of the King of Fero tormented the economic stability of the household night and day, his wishes being every bit of whimsical and delusional as they were unforgiving, enforced in those who the kingdom considered to lowly and disposable. The fruits of the work of hundreds of humble families vigorously consumed by the greed of a small group of people. Still Azure's parents longed to give their daughter the privileges they could never get in their life, even if it costed them everything, even if it meant disobeying the law.

It wouldn't be until one faithful summer evening, during Azure's 16th birthday, that their act of love was met with the interest of the King. A group of soldiers, ordered to find those who have not fulfilled their obligation towards his majesty. What started as a night of celebration was turned into a nightmare, as the military forced unleashed their wrath on those families who didn't pay their tribute, kidnapping their children to enslave them. As the men drew closer, Azure's mother ran to awake the young niphilim. She gave her daughter a small box, kissed her on her forehead and simply asked to go away, go far away from there and never come back. Scared, still shook by this sudden turned of events, Azure obeyed her mother's request, running in her pajamas as gunshots could be heard in the background. With tears in her eyes she just continued to run directionless until her tiredness caught up with her.

After a restless night, Azure woke up alone, in the middle of nowhere, with the box her mother gave her to that confirmed everything she had lived was real.
In it there was a considerable amount of money and a small gun so she could defend herself. Along with these presents there was an old photo of the three that read "No matter what happens, please remember that we love you.".
Every since that day she knew her purpose was to make the higher ups of the kingdom pay for what they had done to her family. But her first priority was to escape, as the royal guards were probably looking for her to make her accountable of her parents' debts. She moved to the Kingdom of Cielo, knowing she wouldn't be persecuted in there, and spent the next 9 years living underground, educating herself so she could one day, overthrow the kingdom that brought so much suffer to her.

How does this character sound when speaking(Dialect, voice, etc): Her voice is playful and enthusiastic , light hearted and carefree. Her enthusiasm can mean she sometimes raises her voice a bit too much.
Character Personality: Saphira is a bit of a dork, often recalling random useless trivia and referencing books a normal person wouldn’t read. She spent a lot of time with books and outside in her childhood, which made her a bit unwise to the ways of the adult world. That, coupled with her being a natural optimist and her innate curiosity, can get her into trouble. On the other hand, she is driven and stubborn to a fault, going through with her plan and wanting to complete her task, even against her and others better judgement.

Saphira Perinther was born in Fero, far across the western mountains, close to the dreaded Ocean. She was born into middle class and never really had to worry much in her childhood. Her parents were far away from attracting too much attention, but still wealthy enough to afford most of what she could want. Saff grew into a child of many hobbies. Reading, tinkering and exploring. She was always curious, reading because she wanted to know how the world works, tinkering because she wanted to know how machines worked and exploring to find any secrets. Saphira found the world around her way more interesting than other humans.
Her big drive became the grandest quest in the entire world. Learning about the ancient histories and texts, she wanted to restore magic in the world, certain that if she could find the right spots, enter the right ruins and find the correct manuscripts, she could learn the ancient magic and save the world! So she set about doing that, starting by just exploring the surroundings of Fero… Since her adulthood, Saphira has spent her time reading and exploring, living of selling the trinkets she finds outside the walls, sometimes taking the odd job to find someone’s missing pet or things like that.

Lilith’s voice has a low register that seems to be laced with sarcasm and half interest. For reference, imagine Rhajat from Fire Emblem Fates (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ms2zxDi5g6A).

Character Personality:
Lilith is an inquisitive girl with a very keen eye for details. But this is hidden behind a rough attitude. Lilith always has her guard up around other people. But when she’s alone, Lilith can be a rather gentle soul. Due to her upbringing, Lilith is very slow to trust others. She sees most relationships as transactional. People will only approach you when they need something. Not that Lilith has any qualms with using whatever’s at her disposal to survive.

Lilith grew up with her mother Lamia, wandering between the various City States. Whenever Lilith asked her mother about her father, Lamia would always give her a different answer. One day he was a handsome adventure who had to leave to find an ancient treasure. The next he was some well to do noble from Calt who would send for them one day. It wouldn’t be until Lilith was older that she would learn the truth; she was raped by a mob of men who cornered her one night.

It was the same where ever they go. If people didn’t shun her and her mother, they would take advantage of her. Whenever the two of them could actually enter one of the city states, Lamia would take whatever job she could to support the two of them. As a child, Lilith would try to make friends while her mother worked, everyone would simply run away or make fun of her rather large horn and sharp claws. In one city, Lilith though she had made friends with a Spectross girl about her age. She had invited Lilith to her home for tea. But when she arrived, the Spectross girl teased her along with her friends. From that moment on, Lilith kept to herself whenever they entered the cities.

They could never stay long in any of the City States, so Lilith and Lamia spent most of their time wondering the unforgiving wilderness. Their Lilith learned to live off the land and find shelter. When confronted by monsters, her mother taught her how to fight with her bare claws. The two Nomads live their lives like this until Lilith turns 19.

At the time Lilith and Lamia had run into a band of other nomads. This wasn’t the first time they’ve travelled with a group but this one was different. These nomads believed strongly in Zalaam's will. Lilith was intrigued by the group but her mother was suspicious. But her mother relented and they joined the traveling Nomads.

The year Lilith and Lamia spent with them was a haze. These Nomads used a powerful narcotic in there rituals that the two women had gotten hooked on. It just seemed to make life easier. In her clouded state Lilith would take part in their rituals and even offer them her body to use as they please.

In a moment of lucidity, Lilith awoke naked in the middle of the camp. Her once purple runes had taken on a reddish hue. Walking around the, she tried to look for her mother but she couldn’t find. She asked the other Nomads but they couldn’t give her an answer. Lilith knew she couldn’t stay here anymore. Gathering her things she left hoping to start a new life and find her mother.

How does this character sound when speaking: Ophelia’s voice, when she speaks, is quiet to the point one has to strain to hear her. Her tone is rather dull and she speaks slowly as if thinking about each word before she utters it.

Ophelia is someone who moves at her own pace. Outside of combat or assassination, that pace is very slow. Her laconic way of speaking combined with her general apathy results in many coming away from a conversation with her feeling like they were wasting her time and she was upset by this given the frank and brutal way she talks. Truthfully, she’s just very unused to dealing with people so doesn’t know to use tact. She doesn’t know it, but she’s actually very lonely and will usually respond well to kindness. Beyond that, she’s rather bland in personality, not having enough experience with other people to have developed one of her own.

She lives for her assassinations as those are the only times she really feels alive. The thrill of sulking in the darkness, evading all bodyguards or bystanders, the taking of her targets life. The adrenaline that comes with it all allows her to feel like more than a doll. While she’s doing it, she usually has a deranged smile, really the only smile she knows how to show.

The girl named Ophelia doesn’t know what name her parents gave her. She supposes that’s not really important anymore. She was born to a couple of Nomads who cut a deal with a noblewoman: in exchange for being cared for for the remainder of their lives, they would give up their newborn daughter to her desires. Having scrimped and begged for anything they could get and her mother often having to prostitute herself for basics such as food and water, they accepted without much hesitation. She’s not sure what happened to them afterward, but she never met them. She isn’t sure if this is a good thing or not seeing as one of the few emotions she feels is rage over their choice.

She was raised by this noblewoman to become her homegrown assassin, ruthlessly trained in the arts of silent killing. Beyond these interactions, she didn’t talk to anyone. She wasn’t allowed outside unless it was night and only then for further training that wasn’t possible in the Lady Techra’s estate. She wasn’t aware that this is an odd way to live until she was 6 and sent on her first assassination. She realized that things in her life were strange when she saw other kids laughing and playing, but by this point she wasn’t sure how to change it. Her first target was another noble who had a liking for little girls. Lady Techra didn’t care about this, but the man had slighted her in some way so she wanted him dead. Seeing Ophelia alone and ostracized due to being a Nomad, the noble thought her the perfect target and smuggled her into his estate under the cover of night. The man never put hands on her, but neither did he survive the night.

This was her first taste of the thrill of assassination. From there she cared less about her abnormal upbringing. She wanted more. She began eagerly throwing herself into her training so she could be put to work on more and more thrilling assignments. And she got them. The only one she found rather dull was a job on a couple of Nomads that had somehow made their home in a fancy house, but beyond that she’s found that her work is the only time she feels alive.

Lately, however, Lady Techra has been keeping her within the estate more often. Her Lady says it’s because her persona is being searched for by the authorities. The noblewoman she killed last was perhaps a touch too well connected. Ophelia has her doubts. Her within the house attire has become more brief than it once was and she’s noticed her Lady with a bulge in her dress more often than not. It’s not her place to question her Lady however.
