I don't see a gender on there.

I used the template for making my character. While I thought it was obvious, she's female. I'll edit that in and might change some stats again. But you should look into adding gender to the template if you wish people to include that information.

Alright, I've brought in a character that could pass for you. Does anyone have requests for the first monster(s)? I can also do a mini campaign or dungeon setup if people want a puzzle.

So I'm in the RP then?

EDIT: Alright, I read the post. I assume Erica is helping out with setting up the simulation, correct?

I'd also want to ask what tech level of equipment we're allowed in this RP. Because while Erica has a weapon and a shield, she's more prominent in magic when it comes to fighting and relies more on technology and medicine when it comes to healing. (A bit of an odd choice, but she has her reasons and it's a good reason as for why the other team didn't wish to keep her.)

The tech level is more akin to modern age, maybe slightly more advanced, but mostly for electronics. No flying cars or rail guns or nano technology medical techniques beyond what we have now. Most of the really weird stuff is applied magi-tech more than anything, and tends to be very expensive or require rituals or such to keep it from being too broken. You may use magic potions if you desire, but you will have to purchase or make them yourself in the chemistry/alchemy lab.

That said, I am open to requests if you want something and think it would make a good addition.

Ah, right. Kinda dashes the idea I had of Erica to be a Healer relying on more technical means like nano wraps and such. I guess she'll be using some magic and potions. Probably potions most of the time, since medical magic can probably become real dangerous if misused or cast poorly. That was the idea I was going for. I kinda assumed tech was at a higher level, seeing as how the simulations were a thing.

I suppose she'll have both modern first aid kits with some additional tools and medical supplies together with potions. Would a portable defibrillator be overkill?

The simulation is magitech. They've got a really powerful spirit that is living there does all of it with a computer interface.

Portable defibrillator is fine.

Soooo, do I wait for everyone to reply before I make a post? I've not done a group before, so I wanted to make sure. You're welcome to talk among yourselves without waiting for me if it's outside of combat like before, but I always try to let everyone get a say before I move ahead.

Also, since no one has made any requests, I'm thinking... probably going to do a werewolf or beast invasion of some sort. Of course, that's going to depend on what Erica wants to do. Got a 15+6 btw, so you'll be getting primary choice on what you want.

Oh, Erica will have had the birds and bees talk from her mother as well as her father, so she's going to want to be extra careful for sex, as elves are very potent/fertile (and lustful). While I think it's fair to reduce the odds to 1/4 instead of the 1/2 of a full elf, that's still quite a bit more likely than a human on human 1/20. She's also probably going to know to be cautious around Heotasy until she knows for sure that Heotasy isn't a herm, as elf herms would be something her elf mother would have warned her about. Of course, if you want to play her as ignorant and innocent of such things, you can do that too. That's the main reason I pestered about gender.

If anyone following Huntress Lina is curious, the large number of herms was by player request, I'm not planning to have nearly that many of them.

Oh, I forgot to post this. I think it would be better to have an enemy that isn't too difficult to defeat. If it is too difficult that means we need to work together very well and that probably won't happen the first time.

Right. Well, I'd like to point out that Erica took after her father for the most, while also learning from her mother, meaning she prefers things more common to humans, such as food, clothes and such made by humans. However, one of my thoughts were that she'd also be combating her already lessened sexual urges due to growing up somewhat differently from regular Elves. Otherwise, the biological enthusiast and Healer she is, she'd probably have preventive measures with her, such as condoms and pills.

Not a problem at all, there's already explicitly morning after pills, although if you're strongly against pregnancy content, I can get you something in universe of a more automatic nature. The magic pill is also effective on magically induced pregnancies, if we ever do those.

'Magical disruption' is a glorified way of saying all purpose anti magic stuff. It has basic properties which mess with magical creatures, but not nearly as much as specific weaknesses, such as silver on werewolves. I dislike it when creatures are completely immune to bullets like in a lot of fiction, this is my work around that still makes dedicated hunters necessary.

I did actually roll an INT for each character, but Heotasy made a 20 so she got to show off her smarts. Since they're a fairly common monster, I figured everyone had an equal chance to know stuff about them. Also, since she got to make it, she hit the after party switch. Is everyone okay with wolf people content OOC? Characters can of course make requests in universe once it's gotten to the after party.

What exactly does "after party" entail? And did I understand correctly that you're asking us if we're alright with getting information about werewolfs as players, allowing us to better RP the encounter?

Heotasy hit the switch that sets up an after simulation sex encounter, usually with the monsters you just fought, or you can ask the simulation to put out something else. Of course, your character is welcome to simply leave if you desire.

I'm asking if it's alright that I use your character to make a knowledge check to establish background knowledge of whatever monster you're facing, explaining it aloud so everyone knows.

Normally, I'd make a CHA roll between Vanessa and Heotasy for leadership, but you're all PCs and I don't make game changing decisions like that for you. I will do a set of rolls though (Heotasy 15+2, Vanessa Natural 20!) if you decide that that's how you want to do it that way.

Okay, I have a question on group stuff. If I'm doing a group check, IE if the thrall was trying to sneak up on the group, would I do one roll and then check to see if any wisdom modifiers beat it, or do I do one for each of you?

I think individual rolls make more sense.

I agree. Individual rolls would be best.

Okay, that was odd. Did someone bribe my dice? Sucks for Bailey though.

I'm going to read your response and decide how you're making your attack from there, and I'll make the roll. An 11-15 is a weak hit, and will do 1 HP of damage. 15-19 is a strong hit, does 2 points. 20 will kill them. I know everybody but Ren was 'watching' but I figured a quick reaction with a natural 20 could go for a kill shot.

Fantasy Fanatic, I know you wanted to play a tech healer, but what do you think about playing as a potions based healer? Lots of chemistry or alchemy tricks as a secondary support?

Yeah, I can work with that. Although, I still want to have a portable defibrillator.
