After decades of fighting, the human forces have finally overcome the defenses of the Monster Lord's Castle, and taken it as there own. In the most final of battles, the Monster Lord was slain and her forces laid low. Monsters, who till that point had held hope, fled in terror as the masses of humans tried to slay or purify them in the name of their god, Yadbarath.
Many years have passed, the Monster Lord's castle fully occupied by the most powerful of paladins. Monsters are spread thinly throughout the land, clinging to any location or village that gives them shelter and protection.
This age of terror for monsterkind was said to last forever by the vile servants of Yadbarath ... but that is not the case. No, they had used too much divine energy simply getting into the castle, let alone slaying the Monster Lord. If but a single monster sits upon the Lord's Throne, they would be able to put an end to those foolish paladins for good, as the New Monster Lord.
Sadly it wont be that easy. The place is heavily guarded, magically and physically. Not to mention that entire region is under guard... But a determined monster can do it.
Besides, it's mating season very soon. If you needed a better reason to breed, repopulating and preparing for a war are two good reasons. Better yet... it appears you Succeeded a piece of the Monster Lord's own soul. What does that mean? Neat things. Also... mating season will last all year round. It does that sometimes.
Also hey, things aren't as bad as they seem. Paladins are outnumbered by monsters and there are a lot of ordinary humans who are... ripe for the pickings. Your goal is to amass an army, or a small force, to take back the Monster Lord's Castle and it's throne. It's been 5 years since the fall of the Lord, and half of the Order is stationed at the Castle to protect it from the Monsters. The game wont end once someone is crowned the Monster Lord. The fun will continue from there!
The Setting

- The Capital of Yadbarath is the home of the holy order of the aforementioned god and also one of the largest population centers for humanity. It is a huge citadel, full of golden spires and radiating holy light. Although the light has dimmed recently... Regardless, a place very bad for monsters. Not just the fact that it's the home of paladins and clerics, but the holy light is purifyingly painful. Only the Monster Lord could resist and push back the protective barrier of a God. In the Capital it is mandatory to worship Yadbarath, execution or imprisonment is the punishment. The city is built in three 'tiers', each tier reaching higher. The lowest tier are for the poor, lower and working class. The middle tier is for true worshipers and followers of the faith, as well as the rich. The top tier is a single tower, being the home of the High Inquisitor and High Priestess as well as the most elite of Paladins and Clerics.
The Monster Lord's Castle is an equally impressive piece of architecture. It and the surrounding village and buildings are almost entirely interwoven. The castle is huge, dark and splendid. Interestingly enough, the insides contain different habitats that are magically climate controlled - perfect locations for various species of monsters to stay! At it's peak is the Throne, a grand set that holds within it an ancient and wonderful power. One may call themselves the Monster Lord, but they wont truly be it until the Throne gives them the title. The Castle is now empty and filled only with holy practitioners, their power keeping the demonic essence that flows through all monsters at bay.
The Frozen Expanse is a region locked in perpetual winter. Even the zealots of Yadbarath are willing to open the doors of villages they control in that region to monsters in need of shelter. It is a cruel place, that only specific individuals can survive in for long outside of sheltered villages and cities. At opposite ends of the Expanse are the Beacon of Frost and Reem's Stockade, a human and monster controlled city respectively. The Beacon is protected from the harshest elements by magical barriers, while the Stockade did... until recently. The barrier has shrunk significantly, reducing the city to half of what it used to be.
The Dust Lands are a huge desert. Not quite as harsh as the perpetual winter of the Expanse, but still tough for some. The sands are dotted with Oasis, from which communities are formed around. Those that live in the Dust Lands are hardy people, but are open and willing to help those in need. However, the followers of Yadbarath in this region are cruel. Even the High Inquisitor frowns on their methods sometimes. Which is quite something, considering what his job is...
Closest to the southern sea in the Dust Lands is the Dragon's Crest, a large trading city that is under the control of Yadbarathintes. Not a nice place for anyone to be, the leadership there is dogmatic at best. Smack dab in the middle of this desert is Tooth. Just Tooth. A collection of caverns that house any monster refugees and civilians.
Parstan's Bride is a town surrounding a river that leads out to sea. It is of the Neutral alignment, housing monsters who can afford to stay and keeping the local Paladins off their asses. That can be a good or bad thing, depending on your side.
The Woods of Woe are actually a really nice place. Basically the closest you have to a paradise for monsterkind these days. The community in the hidden village within is quite small, but it can only grow from here! The woods are quite dangerous for those that don't know the way, some say there's an ancient enchantment on the forest. Humans should take caution...
Mechanics

Oh boy what fun!
We'll be deciding on how things go in good old DnD style... with some changes! Roll a D20, add some stuff and see what you get. Rolling a 20 means you Crit! You do extra stuff. Rolling a 13-19 is a success, you did the thing well! Rolling a 10-12 is a pass. You... did it, kind of. You might not have hit as hard as you wanted or you convinced the person... for now. 2-9 is a miss! You missed. 1 Is a crit fail. Bad things happen.
Combat:
In combat, you designate one of the target enemies and roll for the attack. You can make a Physical Attack, a Spell Attack or a Lust Attack.
Physical attacks use either your Strength or Dexterity. Spell Attacks use your Intelligence (Human) or Charisma (Monster) and consume a point of Mana. Lust Attacks use your Charisma and effect your opponents Lust.
When your Health is reduced to 0, you fall unconscious. When you Lust is reduced to 0, you become Aroused and will try to fuck anything nearby/be willing to be fucked by your opponent
Corruption:
Your characters will start with a certain amount of corruption, between 0 and 100. Humans start with 5-10 (You aren't fully pure, you've seen how monsters work and been exposed to their sexual ways) and Monsters start at 60. Not 100 you ask? Of course!
Monsters grow stronger by increasing their corruption. You can increase your corruption by corrupting (fucking) humans and priests, which also increases theirs. Once your corruption reaches 40, you become a Monster (specifically the of the same type as the one who made you that corrupt). If you fall below 35 after that, you start to turn back into a Human.
To be 'purified' is to lose to a Paladin, Priest or other such aligned human. You lose some corruption points and they lose some also. You gain a lot of points essentially for turning people into monsters/completely purifying them.
If a Monster reaches 80 Corruption, they start to become more.... more. Skin turns blue or purple, they get horns and strange markings. At that point only corrupting REALLY PURE individuals or obtaining Monster Relics will make your more corrupt. Once you hit 100... well, you wont even need the Throne to be the Monster Lord.
As it turns out, Purification and Corruption are pretty similar., they both affect the mind quite significantly. The lower your corruption, the less you want to do with sex and sinful acts. The higher your corruption... well, you know.
Breeding, children and Succession:
After having sex, I'll roll a die to see if you get pregers. Since these are monsters involved, your pregnancy will feel super nice and only last a day or two. The child will be of the same species as the parents and inherit their skills. If the parents are different Monster species, the pregnancy chance will be lower but any children may be Hybrids. Hybrids have traits from both parents, and are more powerful. A hybrid child of a hybrid is even more... special. But you can't make some super chimera through this process, after the second generation of Hybrid they start to lose those extra traits.
The children will grow up fast, unless you want them to stay as kids for you to look after, whatever. If you leave them alone, they'll do their own things and stuff. Gather supplies, fuck and have more kids, you name it.
Now, Succession. You may, in the event of your death or being stuck in a situation of no escape or simple because you want to, move your soul into the body of one of your children. Their appearance changes to match your original one, and they become you! With some bits of them still there. This is a part of the Monster Lord's Will. You can do this as many times as you want or need. Basically your kids are your extra lives or bonus forms. You can't switch back after you do it though., your body either becomes an empty shell (in a bad situation) or they take it. Admittedly a bit weird but... ah well.
Stat increases:
I'll give you a 'level up' once you do some things. That'll give you another 5 points to spend on your stats. Whenever you perform a roll, for every 5 of a stat you have you get a bonus to it.
So for example; I make an attack roll with Strength. I have 10 Strength, so I have a +2 to my roll.

Purify Through Flame - When you land a hit, you may expend mana to deal bonus damage to an enemy based on the amount of mana you spend. The divine flame that bursts from your weapon will do even more damage on demonic-based monsters. The flame can even be turned on yourself to slow down the spread of corruption within you (at the cost of some HP of course), making it easier to bear the burden of traveling between Paladin purification outposts.

The divine flame that bursts from your weapon will do even more damage on demonic-based monsters. The flame can even be turned on yourself to slow down the spread of corruption within you (at the cost of some HP of course), making it easier to bear the burden of traveling between Paladin purification outposts.

Background: Barioth had once been on his way to become court sorcerer as he trained hard and long each day to maintain his arcane power without losing control of such things. His family, the Valsrath lineage, had a peculiar relationship with Yadbarath as the rumor had it that their magical prowess was due to monstrous relations leaving some sort of lingering energy within the blood of the family. Barioth didn't allow such stares and whispers to sway him however and did his best to live as he could within the holy light of Yadbarath. Devoting himself despite his rather sickly body, the young man was soon brought into the military among the holy paladins and clerics as they fought against the forces of the monster lord.
Most of the soldiers who drew upon holy powers didn't fully trust Barioth but he was desperate to prove he was just as much a human ready to fight for his kind and become a man worthy of a note in the history books. Several battles fought, slinging spells alongside the more standard practicing clerics eventually saw him finding friends among the armed forces and maybe even the beginnings of romance with a particular lovely paladin he fancied. All of that was soon scattered to the wind as ash however when the campaign against the monster lord picked up momentum. More and more powerful creatures stood in their way and before long Barioth was left to make a terrible choice. Seeing his allies routed by ungodly power as a dragon tore through them, almost playing with the armed troops, he could barely stand under the seemingly demonic pressure the draconic female possessed. Watching the creature bare down upon his friends however made the man finally decide to take action.
Using his sorceries without restraint, Barioth drew upon the powers he was taught to ignore, weaving great and terrifying spells of his own as he held off the beastly woman and yelled for his allies to retreat. He had no delusions of succeeding against the dragon but he'd been a great liar for most of his life anyway. Spending all of his energy and pouring fury into the fight he kept the terrifying female's interest long enough for each of his remaining allies to flee. Through the fight scales had broken out upon his face and neck and he'd felt his eyes begin to bleed as his pupils turned to slits. Using his magic so heavily came with a terrible price as the monstrous blood that had been passed down through his family began to take hold. At last, exhausted, Barioth fell to his knees, unable to continue the fight though he'd bought what time he could for his friends.
That was not the end for the sorcerer with dreams of becoming a high ranking member of Yadbarath's society. The dragon, uninjured from their fight had found herself amused with his resistance and instead of killing Barioth had much more devious plans for him. Taken away to some private cave within the Dust Lands, the sorcerer was subjected to corruption and torture no man could have withstood and over years of care from his new mistress, Barioth's mind and body warped under the effects of her power. After years of such treatment he took on a similar look to his mistress and his body grew more powerful. No longer was he a sickly human who abstained from illicit relationships for some misguided ideal from the capital. He'd become a monster, his body rippling with scaled muscles. His memories of his past life remained though warped and strange as his new urges and interests colored his thoughts.
When the monster lord fell, Barioth was left at a strange point in his new life. He'd been left within the Dust Lands and word had traveled to him from monsters that flew by his mistress' cave. His mistress had been fighting at the behest of the monster lord, leaving him behind since he wasn't 'ready' for such things. Unaware if the dragon that had become his world was still alive or what exactly would become of him, he made a decision. He'd venture out and find what may be waiting for him. This did little to spare them however in the wake of the Monster Lord's fall and when the humans came for her clan Chiyoshi was forced to flee, seperate from her friends and family and unaware if they even survived. Though not a violent woman, Chiyoshi was enraged enough by the loss of her home to swear revenge.
However, the kitsune has not adapted well to life in the outside world. Though old by human standards, she is still quite young compared to the rest of her species and she had not spent any time at all outside her home prior to her escape. Though her illusions are powerful, her prideful nature and her naivety have made her easy to take advantage of. She has since become more cautious and now attempts to put on a more wisened and mature facade around strangers.
