Ironwold Town, 1885 (Recruitment Closed)

Hail, and well met! I come to bring you roleplay! And such roleplay! Thrills to make your heart leap! Spills to make you gasp in anguish! And Delights, oooh, such Delights, sufficient to make a Sultan's Harem blush and giggle! Come in, come on in..!
Let us take a journey to 1885, and to the west of England, stopping just before we reach Wales. There's a small road there, winding over the hills between Cheshire and Shropshire, an insignificant line across the folded lands, barely more than a beaten track for the occasional farm cart or carriage... although an observant traveler would note the lack of local traffic. The road is silent, not even bird calls filling the chill autumn air.
The locals in the nearby villages will not speak of that road. They shuffle away, the previously cheery pub falling silent. The innkeeper, polishing his glass, would glower at you if you brought it up, and inform you that the bar would be closing soon. Finish your drink and get out... the message is clear.
But there are tales, nevertheless. Whispered in corners, with many a furtive glance. How the road suddenly twists, and then reveals a town... a town that one cannot find by merely crossing the hills. A town that appears on no map. A town tucked between the hills, and yet visible from none of them.
A town filled... and here the whispers drop even lower, the speaker and listeners leaning in... a town filled with oddities. Strange oddities. Licentious oddities.
The inhabitants of the mysterious town are debauched, they say. Decadent and wanton. Immoral behaviour between anyone, no matter whether married or not, or with whom... and worse still, often between family members! And there is even... and here some of the more fragile listeners might shudder, or faint... even talk of degenerate indulgences with animals!
And yet, the speaker hisses, there is more. Monsters, he insists... monsters of various forms, lurking in the shadows, prowling the streets at night, vicious and rapacious! Witches too, and Wizards, and other wielders of the forbidden arts!
Fate has trapped your characters. Their feet are upon this dreaded road, the huddled town has appeared before their eyes. Are they innocents, stumbling into danger, or have they sought out this cursed place, ready to do battle with the horrific secret at its core... or perhaps ready to willingly embrace the deviances?

Setting
The setting is a rather idealised 1885. A gentleman wears a good hat, a good coat, and a fine moustache. A lady is properly dressed with a well-decorated bonnet and a rather perky stylish bustle. The throne is held the steely gaze of Victoria, Long Live the Queen, and the Empire is peaceful and prosperous. Progress marches ahead at a rate that could terrify at times... mostly on the back of the industrial revolution and the behemoth that is the railways.
Behind the scenes, however, lurks darker forces. Magic is real, a hidden entity that writhes through the lands. Monsters live, and lurk, and consume, and dark cults do vicious battle in the shadows.
The concept, well... Lovecraftian Cthulu meets Silent Hill meets pulp erotica. The mystical English town of Ironwold is infected with what can only be described as rabid nymphomania (as well as more severe, if often equally erotic, dangers)... it's up to the player's characters to discover the cause and deal with it as they see fit. Ghosts, monsters, maddened cultists... all these and more, no extra charge!

Mechanics I'm going to keep light... more WoD than DnD. d10, heavily GM-fudged rolls. Justify and be creative and/or fun with your actions, and the roleplay gods will be kind. Be dull, or exploitative, and punishments will flail at your ears till they reddened with such fervour that fine tomatoes will become green with envy!

So, what I'm looking for from you all...
Firstly, obviously, players eager to join in.
Secondarily, questions/criticisms/suggestions. Please, feel free to pick things apart, or throw out your own ideas. I won't take offense... with, of course, the assumption that you won't take offense if I don't incorporate your input. I promise I will listen to it with an optimistic, open mind, at the very least.
Thirdirleeloolay, for those playing or supporting... the remembrance that this is meant to be more roleplay than rollplay. I will, at whim, ignore numbers, decisions or even the very laws of physics to try and push a more compelling storyline. However, I will not 'godmode', and I expect the same from you. Manage your character, let me handle the rest, and if something is not to your liking, message me.
Note: This is ERP, heavy on the E, but for those who want a less erotic, more action game I can happily do that. Obviously I will obey limits and lean towards kinks... stick them in your description... but also chat to me about the level of sexz0rs you're after.
