Unradical Dude, you've been added to the IC post. Welcome to the game.

Also in advance, you've received the least lucky start of the entire party so far. A worst case scenario on my system to determine type of encounter and severity of said encounter. Do try to keep in mind that most situations aren't quite as harsh as your first one.

Much love <3

I've been requested to detail the Shaman's power set a bit more. Given that it's magic based its a bit less tangible than the Warrior's ability to tame a beast they defeat.

Shamanism stems from the idea that to be dominated isn't actually a failure but a method to lessen an individual's personal identity and bring them closer to a sort of universal consciousness. As such, no shaman powers directly allow a user to control another sentient creature.

There a two main realms of which a shaman can choose to influence, Nature and Self.

Nature involves calling upon the forest itself to bind, attack or hinder an opponent. This includes but is not limited to vines acting as living ropes, trees lifting from the ground to stand in the way of the target, and even rapid mutation of various flora to spew gas (with effect determined by the intent of the caster) at an enemy. Similarly, they're able to shape the world around them in non-violent ways too, making shelters, bridges, and other objects from still living wood and such.

Self involves shaping the caster's body in order to do things of import, whether that's growing sharp claws for climbing, digging or attacking opponents, increasing or decreasing the shaman's fertility, or modifying the body in whatever way the caster desires with the exception of giving them working male organs. This sort of magic is primarily used for travel such as growing gills and fins for swimming or wings in order to fly long distances. This realm of magic can only effect the caster.

With any character below -25 dom points they're given access to any range of abilities within the two realms I've detailed above and its up to the dice and the player's creativity to test the limits of these powers. Do take not that using this powerful magic to defeat opponents will increase the ego of said character and increase their positive dom score. Any character that returns to a score above -25 will lose access to their shaman magic, making it important for shaman that find themselves in combat to seek out and submit elsewhere or lose their magic. Additionally, keep in mind that a shaman's power comes from avoiding direct conflict and influencing others instead of throwing attack spells left and right.

Just wasn't sure to continue or wait for something from Albedo. Not too sure about how I want to do things...

If you're planning to get in on this next GM post, you'll need to post before tomorrow afternoon. I'll be making my next one at that time.

Hopefully the next time around I'm going to be more active. Again, my bad.
