I'm going to be a little bit meta here and reveal that some of you just set of a few story flags and are close to setting more off. Of course, there is no problem with that, they were meant to be set of eventually, just didn't expect it to be so soon. Now, continue!

You revel in knowing what is going to happen next, don't you? I, for one, am so curious to find out!

Oh, you should be. But the others need a moment to act first so that I can determine exactly what flags have been triggered and which will be avoided. Or, if you people somehow manage to disarm the ones you've already sprung.

Now I'm curious, too. But... gotta wait. And the waiting is, indeed, the hardest part sometimes.

The thing is, I know what the flags are, but what happens after that really has more to do with the players, meaning I'm almost as anxious as you to find out how this will go.

Uh oh... Well, I'll wait for the spellsword to explain why this black creature of scariness is after her xD

If I'm correct, she'll be as confused as you are.

Haha, sorry about that. No luck with the dice unfortunately.

I think I have a guess at what that's about, but Eliza wouldn't have a clue. Of course I'm not sure if I should be saddened Eliza is being left out of the action right now or just glad she hasn't been sucked into the elemental plane of teeth.

Wow... I was seriously considering saving you guys from this fight since I didn't want you all dying right in the beginning. Apparently, the dice were all in your favor instead. But you should really have taken advantage of your weapons damaging type and the benefits it brings. A spear allows for multiple blows per attack, but only if specified. Although, you didn't need it this time. Try to think about what kind of damage your weapon does, if you are unsure I'll help clarifying.

Edit: And I also realized a lot of flaws. I'll be trying to improve the combat system until next time.

Funny you should mention multiple attacks as there are two things I've realized you never made clear. First, you mentioned that speed determined the maximum number of attacks one can make in a turn but not how speed is used to determine that number, so none of us know how many attacks we are allowed to make. Second, you mention that Slashing and Bashing weapons get penalties for making more than one attack in a turn but not what the penalty is to; accuracy, damage, or both; or how much of a penalty is applied.

I think i'm interested in this. Do you currently have room still? I'm not asking you to reserve, just making sure there is room.

No, sorry. That was due to a mistake on my part.

There is still room. Feel free to make a character. The more the merrier.

I will unfortunately have to keep you guys away from combat for a while though. The system I was going to use has apparently not worked out as I hoped and I seem to have forgotten some things I was going to include into the system. Combat will be reintroduced once I have fixed the system or simply simplified it.

I just realized, I have no idea if deities or gods exist in this world. Do clerics worship higher beings or do they just follow an ideal to heal and cure the injured and sick?

Let me just put it like this. Praying can sometimes have additional effects and there is a form of magic referred to as Divine. Make what you will of this information.
