Greenhorn: looking to get my feet wet [RP, pref 1v1]

So far, I have not been able to successfully complete an RP for a number of reasons. I want to get my feet wet.

Anyone willing to RP a bit? I would like a GM, but I am capable of GMing if not. I can get into almost anything. Don't let my scarce profile fool you; I've been around the forums for some time.

If no one has that one RP idea that they have wanted to try on someone, but wants a partner, I have one or two stashed away.

What you looking to get into? I have an idea or two if you don't wanna DM; but I'm more than willing to be subject as well.

Zediah, I'm replying here since they aren't allowing me to send PMs yet. I can get them, but not yet send them.

For systems, I'm comfortable with oWoD and can fake nWoD (Werewolf, Mage, and Changeling....no Vampire), Exalted, Legend of the Five Rings, and Houses of the Blooded.

For settings, I'm fine with historical, modern, or future.

For genre, I'm fine with adventure, noir, intrigue, etc. I prefer to not have things be grimdark all the time, and horror is not precisely my cup of tea.

Do you have any specific ideas that you want to see or play out?

Right, of course. I forgot that you are a new arrival.

To be honest, I usually just do a simple stat-d20 roll system (ie roll d20 => if lower than or equal to stat, roll wins) that is a part common practice, part common sense. Basically I just wing it. If you want a more sophisticated system, either you will have to DM or I need some time to brush up on my game systems.

I have some specific ideas, but would you mind sharing your preferences. I prefer to go quite far and am okay with most everything.
