Well, for anyone who was looking for a new rp, here is one about an academy of witches and their experiences at an academy dedicated entirly to them. If you are interested from that part, please read the story, comment on here if you liked it, and then I'll see you in the academy!

The story

Ever since the great revelation of 2012, thousands of people across the world have had their long dormant genes of magic reawaken, occasionally with frightening results. At first there was no clear way of dealing with these new witches, with the methods ranging anywhere from capture to execution, licensing to banishing, and from experimentation to exploitation. For five years these varying trends continued to persecute these witches, until a women by the name of Marianne Joyce bought a large island in the ocean, gathered up every witch she could, and formed an academy to help them contain and harness their powers. Within a year of the opening of the academy the entire world was in awe, as even the lowest of these witches could perform feats beyond what a hundred scientists or engineers could hope, suddenly making witches highly valued members of society, with rewards of millions of dollars being common yearly occurrences for them. Now, as one of these children of a witch, your powers have finally awoken, earning you a free entrance into the Witchcraft Academia, where you will be immersed in a world you have never seen before.

Bio: Young Jack is pretty much like any prankster growing up, however he seems rather keen on what he pulls and the sense of maturity he has about them. He is rather cunning when it comes to what he pulls and will never do any harm to anyone whatsoever, no matter how bad the person may be. That is until one night a group of his friends decide to pull a rather nasty trick on a woman who is believed to be a witch, and he got wound up thanks to his history of pulling off pranks. Sadly it didn't turn out well for him or his friends, as they learned the hard way about who they were pranking and Jack got the better end with having his soul removed and turning into a will 'o wisp. After some time, Jack found the body of a scarecrow, using the uniquely made skeletal structure to allow him to move and stay perfectly inside of a lamp, where he covers up with a carved to allow him to see and light up the space around him. This allows him to burn his more vengeful side, his spiritual flames flaring up whenever he is ready to duke it out, but he always remain to his core of using his wits to get him out of a sticky situation. After pretty much helping out in his town and realizing that he can't do anything at his old school since he died during the middle of his year, he hears about this school and gets transferred there so he can make up his lessons and also learn new things as well!

While is now unnaturally calm and neutral on subjects to the point of seeming passive, Elish would be better described as Chaotic Neutral, and once upon a time during her years of life and some decades after her ascent into Lichdom, she was actually better described as Neutral Evil.

She used to be an oracle of an adventuring party when she was alive, having been cursed with terrible eyesight, being short sighted but it granting her with the ability to sense the area around her whether or not she could actually see as she learned how to control the power, and more importantly the discovery of death and bones. Necromancy.

This power however was not one she often displayed within the group, preferring to learn more commonplace spells along with SCRYING and such to help mask her darker magic, which was useful when your party contains a paladin. As the party grew in power and wealth, getting to stuff of legends, Elish came across something that she had been looking for for five years. The secrets to Lichdom. She had finally found that at a certain time of year, she had to perform a ritual that involved wearing something worth a small fortune, and on a blue moon must strike down someone aligned with a good deity that normally, she would have no hopes of striking down in a fair fight. She was late in having the ritual prepared the first time however, meaning she had to wait another 7 years for one to come around, and something that effectively helped breed her now almost unhealthy obsession with keeping on time.

She finally managed to do this though, having poisoned the paladin and then used a power word to strike him down while he was weak, allowing her to finish the ritual and achieve Lichdom, her phylcanty a reminder of this and something she will protect with everything she has got for obvious reasons.

During the couple of decades after this, she spent her time ordering undead minions in the construction of a dungeon while continuing her studies, spending her time learning more of the arcane arts, and also dabbling a bit in alchemy, enjoying how with enough time and delicate care she could achieve things with it that even her magic could not achieve, with her spending most of the time attempting to learn how to create an oil that preserves her body and the only reason she just looks grey and is not a rotting husk after so many years.

After this time though, she was starting to get sick of being evil, of the constant adventurers that came to her dungeon and tore up the place and destroyed some of her research and equipment. It was around this time that she ended up helping the surrounding villages, sending skeletons to work the fields, to pull carts, and to bolster troops so the people here would have less menial tasks that need done. It didn't make people like her, but it at least stopped the adventurers that weren't just complete assholes from coming to her dungeon, which meant a lot more of her things survived.

After continuing life like this for over two centuries, having learned more about the arcane arts, alchemy, and growing botanical components for potions on the side, she was approached by some people to work in a school which caters for people who are not as mundane as the world seems to have grown. She happily accepted the offer, enjoying the chance to share her knowledge with minds that wish to know it, and also meant she now had some social interaction outside of gambling games with skeletons, who she was sure were letting her win.

Is now currently the teacher of arcane arts and alchemy, and in her free time is trying to contact the soul of the paladin she killed in the afterlife.

Bio: Mira didn’t have a great life. She was born from two loving parents, but since her mother was a witch and thus being hunted, they travelled from place to place all around the world, always fearing that someone might find out one day. Unfortunately, that was exactly what happened. When Mira turned sixteen, her mother disappeared. Her father set out to find Mira’s mother, but shortly after returned with bare hands and immense grief, and he told her that her mother had died in what supposedly was called an accident. The police didn’t investigate this mysterious happening, leaving Mira and her father all alone.

When she turned eighteen, her father found out about the Witchcraft Academia. Mira already found out from an early age she had the same powers as her mother, but they kept it quiet to avoid any problems. With this new school, Mira’s father thought she would be safe and live a happier live, so he said his goodbyes to her and send her off, after which he disappeared himself. Mira decided this would also be best, since with her being there the chance that something happened to her was smaller, and so she wouldn’t hurt her father even more after mother died. So she set off, beginning a new, and hopefully happier, life. Since then, Mira has spent quite some time on the school, and when she was asked as a teacher for the school, she happily agreed. At the moment, she teaches Transfiguration and also Study of the Dark Arts, as she was interested in both those subjects from the beginning of her magical life.

Oh yeah, I guess we can have a spell list, though it is going to more or less be up to whoever the teachers are and what experiments that students make in class. Aside from that, I'm really glad that there are already so many people who are interested in this game already.

Bio: When Annie was just a child her father knew there was something special about her. He knew she had some form of magical powers, so he kept her safe from all of the kids at school and raised her at home. Annie reflected her fathers wishes, she wanted to know her powers as well. So she trained. Attempting many different things under her fathers watchful eye. One day it went horribly wrong however, Annie was attempting to mix a potion, one that would increase her power so that she could finally figure out what they were, however she mixed the wrong ingredients together and the potion she was making blew up in a large cloud of smoke. Annie accidentally inhaled the smoke and it destroyed all of her organs and she fell to the ground dead. Her father heard the commotion and rushed to the scene. Seeing Annie dead on the floor he cried out, saying that he would fix her right up. He then went into his workshop with her body. More than a week later he came out with something that was a vague resemblance of Annie. He had turned her into a robot. everything inside her body was robotic and the only thing left of Annie was her skin. Somehow, her father had managed to bring her back to life using strange metallurgy and clockwork.

Annie's body still contained part of her soul too, the part that gave her ideas and connected her body, almost like an advanced AI with thinking capabilities. However, somewhere deep down in the fragment of her soul there was more, waiting to be released, unbeknownst to her father.

(Must elaborate, emotions are not quite 100% programmed into her, she knows how they are achieved but anything she feels is hollow. For now.)

The operation also had somehow managed to bring out powers of a sort, she had gain magnetic powers, or could move metal objects with her mind. When she discovered the abilities she told her father who was ecstatic and sent her to the Witch academy with a special metal ball that she could use to augment her abilities.

Bio: Alexis was that one person in class who seemed almost too optimistic about everything. Even when she was in younger grades and they had to make a compost bin for worms she was the one who really wanted to look after them. After the big revlation happened she was very much excited that she could do magic, however most of her classmates looked at her with scorn and fear. During those five years of witches being persecuted and worse, her family had moved away and she had even successfully kept her magic powers secret, still with a smile on her face. When the academy finally opened she was one of the first to gladly go there, hoping to get more control and learn even more about the magic power coursing through her being.

I lied, going to be a secretary. Can't exactly be a nurse since... well, not everyone is going to be made out of straw and stuffing them with it isn't going to help fix wounds. It can shut people up, but it's not very effective overall.

Are you kidding, that would be an amazing thing to do! He could be a Stein type of doctor, and have fun with scaring everyone during the surgeries or treatments.
