Alright folks, here it comes. Happy as I am with the relative success of Greymane in comparison to my other RP's, I've decided to start up a new one using the brand new ruleset of OVA RPG. I have yet to fully digest the material that I have, but it's basically a mechanic designed to give the feel of a manga or anime more that a traditional fantasy/sci-fi system.
This is the setting that I have come up with, although it is in flux at the moment:
Contagion
Z-Day: 05:00
A man sporting strange injuries staggars into a convenience store, and collapses at the back of the building. Emergency services are called, and paramedics arrive on the scene along with police to find the man attacking the clerks. The wounded man tries to attack the police, but is restrained. The medical staff treat the clerk for bite wounds.
Z-Day: 08:00
The city starts it's daily routine, people leave their houses to go to jobs, and children head off to school. Streets flood with cars and busses, cyclists weaving their way between them all. The police from the store attack are found wandering through the woods of the central forrest conservation site, each sporting wounds to their necks and arms. They immediately attack those who disturb them
Z-Day: 13:00
Lunch time in the city's secondary school and college has just ended, and everyone is getting back to class. The monotony of school life drags on until there is a disturbance at the front gate. Like all schools, it's walled and gated off, but a man repeatedly bangs against the metal railings. Teachers go out to discourage the man and send him on his way, but not before the man reaches through, takes hold of one of them, and bites them on the arm. The others pull him back and gather round to check on the wound...

Now, as I understand the premise of character creation, it goes something like this:
Get an image
Make a background
Match advantages to your background (more on these later)
Match flaws to your background (again, more later)
GO!!
Of course, I need to read more to confirm all this. Hopefully I'll be able to say more on this tonight
