Paraca: (+5 Fitness, +5 Trapping, +5 Constitution) Bestial hunters who vastly populate uncivilized territory. Their bodies are actually quite varied, however the anthropomorphic structure remains the same. They walk on two legs, have a torso and head, and have two arms. Also, they are always camouflaged in forestal colors. Other than that, they have wildly varying features. They may or may not have tails. Some have scales, fur, or just bare skin. One theory insists that Paraca actually derive from a missing link kind of race. It is widely known that Paraca can mate with just about anything and bear children.
Abyssian: (+5 Spears, +5 Constitution, +5 Speech) Reptilian-like creatures with smooth scales and soothing syllabic speech. Their torsos are very human-like in structure, but instead of legs they have thick snake-like tails. Their skulls are very pointed leading towards the nose, with small slits for eyes. Their tongues are forked and they have no natural fangs, but it is not uncommon for fang structures to be surgically implanted as a sign of status. Across the front of their torso extending from their sexual organ at the waist to the top of their chest is a large oval patch of soft, beige or white colored scales. It is considered indecent amongst their kind to show any part of this feature publicly. The difference between sexes can be discerned by either their breasts or scale color. Females have cool colored scales whereas males have warm colored scales. It should be noted that there are black scaled versions of either sex, but these are usually attracted to either gender or are generally sexually confused.
Wight: (+5 Mefasta, +5 Darkness, +5 Disguise) Humanoid decendants of Mefastans with an affinity for darkness. A deceptive wight could be easily confused for a sickly hiyuman; they are simply that similar. However, when showing their true power, Wights are surrounded in an aura of darkness. It is thick enough to cover all their superficial features, except for their glowing eyes and hair, if it’s long enough. The aura of darkness fades as a wight becomes injured in combat, and it will disperse if they are knocked unconscious. It is rumored that there are wights of a special birthright, who gain feathered wings made of pure darkness. Wild wights do not wear any clothes, as they are normally unable to be seen nude anyways, but they do expect a wide berth of personal space. However, there are some "civilized" wights who hide amongst hiyuman society; much to the fear of hiyumans.
Hiyuman: (+10 Firearms, +5 Light Armor) The most common and trusted species in civilized society, but also the most oppressed. Hiyumans are iconically known to have no natural defenses. They hardly have any fur, no claws or scales, and vegetarian's teeth. The only thing hiyumans have going for them is their ingenuity and numbers. Hiyumans were the first to invent gunpowder, and as a result, the most suited to wield firearms. Hiyumans are the backbone of society, making them skilled inventors and craftsmen, but the thought of a hiyuman in ruling class would be publicly mocked most anywhere.
Everelder: (+10 Arcana, +5 Elemental) Tall and lithe creatures with an affinity to the Arcana. Everelders are a carefully bred race of nobility who are said to be decendants of the Arcana themselves. While physically everelders might appear to be frail and defenseless, it is unknown to most commoners what kind of terrible magical prowess they could employ. It is through fear and piety that they hold their power. However, everelders with no noble station are barely considered of the same race. In fact, any everelder born to a non-everelder parent will be publically cast out and left to fend on his or her own. As a result, there are a few strays who offer their magical services as mercenaries, or devious criminals.
Rakshada: (+5 Swords, +5 Parrying, +5 Fitness) Proud leonin warriors with a proclivity towards dual wielding. Rakshada's are the largest of the anthropomorphic races. They live and die by an honorable code of combat. Relying on a shield or some for of magic as a defense would be a sign of weakness, and anyone caught offending would have their tail cut off and be exiled from the tribe. Males are differentiated from females by their large shaggy manes and well defined muscles, and while female are just as athletic, they favor a muted and agile fighting style over the gauntless of strength and showmanship that the males perform.
Keri: (+5 Bows, +5 Acrobatics, +5 Axes) Lightweight cat-like creatures of the forest with flexible bodies. Keris are a rare and seclusive race. Their legends speak of a time when this world was not intertwined with the two dimensions, and the spirits of nature flourished. Their ears are light and fluffy, known to be as long as two-thirds their body length. Although they have natural claws, they prefer to fight at a distance and remain elusive. Males are differentiated from female by ear length and fur pattern. Females generally have longer ears than the males and have spots. Males have shorter ears and have stripes in their fur. Keri's hardly ever have large breasts.
