40K is too easy and over-done for me. Been running the campaigns for my group now for a long time.

Ah, then I suggest 'Don't Rest Your Head' its a new indie Roleplaying game where the only things used are regular 6 sided dice.

Never heard of it, I prefer silhouette for d6 systems though.

Meh at that rate it's all a set universe, which comes down to the problem we have with the 40k rp, where some people know the shit and others don't. Especially annoying when others join for the sake of joining and not the story itself you know?

Then you set up with your own world by breaking it down.

Here is what I do: Grab a sided die equal to the worlds you want. For example: grab a six sided die and choose from here:

1: Fantasy

2:Futuristic

3:Modern

4:Post-Apocalyptic

5:Medieval-Realistic

6:Space-Travel

Once you pick that, everything else falls into place, such as the main problem, antagonist, rule set, etc etc.

Welps if you did a borderlands RP i would flip out becuase i love the hell out of that game and its fairly flexible in terms of class and all that and story as well. I`m sure there is TONS you could do with it.

So I rolled on my big "fuck it d1000 random plot ideas" five times. Got harpies, ninjas, fantasy, japan, myth. I have a plan.

Not for long, I work 3 more weeks, then back to the grind of school, this time as an honours student. A double honours student.

I think I will replace ninjas with samurai.

Oh Yeah?! I'm so great a student that I got marks on me permanent record for causing school chaos from kindergarten to 8th grade and general warnings to all colleges about my pranks and skills from freshman to junior years.
