Finished with 25 mins to spare and this is my first Rp so don't expect to get yor mind blown but i'll try my best.
Ever since you were little your parents (if you had any) told you stories about the Imperial family that ruled the city of Romundus. After the war that split the land, a man with an army came into the city and took over. Not much was known about him and his family except they had powers beyond humans and enough resources to have guards patrolling the city and it's gates 24/7. They put a curfew in place and anyone caught outside was made an example of by the brutal imperial guards. They cracked down on crime and destroyed all but the two strongest thief guilds. With only a couple of citizens willing enough to form a rebellion it seems that fighting was worthless, but with the occasional reports of groups of guards killed or a supply wagon hijacked there's still hope. What forms is a three way battle between the guilds and the Imperials in the shadows and everyone waiting to see who will emerge. But everyone wonders why the King doesn't just overrun them.
Imperial guards- The enforcers of the ruling family. They have special privileges which allow them to do almost anything they want, earning them the hatred of most of the citizens. Equipped with better weapons and armor, they have orders to kill any guild members that commit any crimes or get in their way, but sometimes they take captives for other reasons than interrogation. Also sightings of the Elite Imperial battlemages is rare but they are a force not to be trifled with. Especially since anyone that wields magic is part of the Imperial family.
Tarturk thief guild- preform most of the small scale robberies, pickpocketing in the city. More idealistic, try to help the people and want to overthrow the ruling family so things go back to the way things were before. Hates the other thief guild because they feel that the guild is the imperial's puppet. Most Tarturks can count on citizens to help them out if in small amounts of trouble.
Jareark thief guild- preform the assassinations and most of the blackmailing in the city. They don't really care about to small war between the other guild and the Imperials, they just try to do jobs as normal and occasionally do a few for the imperial family. It gives them a little more leeway with the guards but not by much. They hate the other guild because they feel that they are bringing attention down on both guilds and are going to get them destroyed with their rebellion.
