Messangers of Evil - OOC

[Ultiran]

In a far off country, along time ago, there was an Kingdom Ruled by a Evil Princess and her Loyal Blood Stained Servant, who was only known to her as her twin brother. She rules in a way that caused revolts. The country is in the middle of a war between the Princess’ Army and the Revolting People who live there.

Niu Escafloria, The Princess, seems to not really care, sending her army to take care of it, with a wicked smile as she admires all the treasures she has collected and stolen from other countries, watching amused. And all this while she is only age 16. People talk ill about her, watching others suffer as she plays with her bright golden hair, staring down at them with dark blue eyes, wearing things they could never afford.

Her Twin Brother Niou, Her loyal Servant, goes out to settle things his own way, as he would do anything for his sister, even killed the girl he loved, and become the very incarnate of evil itself. No one ever knows who he is, even with his dirty blonde hair, and dark blue eyes because he always wears a black cloak with the hood up, so no one can see his face.

This country is known as Alaria. It consists of 5 major spread out towns.

Genden, A Town of Merchants and trade. It is build of cobblestone mostly, with a nearby dock as well, as the town is on the edge of the country, near the ocean. Most of the places are shops and houses, and only one inn.
Tralia, A Town of Mercenaries and Cut throats. It is made of various stones and other materials that are hard to recognize. There are many inn’s in town, and large buildings for Guilds and Alliances to meet.
Sharan, A Town of Farmers. All the places are Farm Houses and a Local Market where they sell crops and animals. Good place to get a horse.
Ylorm, A Town where Travelers frequently stay. It consists of Inn’s, Shops, Pubs, and Other such places. It is a good place to get equipment and information.
And Eterlori, The town where the Princess’ Castle Resides. The Town surrounding the Castle consists mostly of houses, shops, and inns. There are no pubs, as they serve drinks at the inn’s instead. Not a good place for the Revolt members to stay.

You are either a member of the Princess’ Army or the Revolt. You can start in one of the 5 Cities.

Background
The Twin Brother of the Evil Princess and her Loyal Blood Stained Servant. For her he would do anything. He killed the woman he loved for her, and vowed that if he had to, he’d become the very incarnate of evil itself.

Through twisted methods he has killed those who his sister wanted to be removed, and made it seem as though it was fate. Those who have spotted him tell of a pitch black angel of death.

He sometimes poses as part of the Revolt when they grow to strong for the army to handle, and poisons them from there. His loyalty knows no bounds, and has even considered having his sister run, while he stages her fake death, by dying in her place.

Background

One of the fire-brands behind the current revolt, Nathaniels a convincing speaker and propgandist, and a fanatical ideologue adept at stirring up peasents and the urban poor. The son of wealthy merchants, he`s literate and wold have had a comfortable life, barring any random terrors inflicted by the Princess. However, he opposes her for almost entirly philosiphical reasons, and pursues his goals with fanatical intensity.

Background
Capt. Alteisen is a career soldier in the Princess' army. Born the second son of a minor noble house, he was placed into the army as an officer. His tactical prowess started him on a fast rise through the ranks after he made a few cunning manoeuvres with his squad in a major battle that proved decisive to victory. However, his inability to articulate his positions in debate soon got in his way. Strategic disagreements with his superiors turned them against him, blocking his advancement beyond the level of captain. While Alteisen has fought many battles against foreign armies and the rebels, a string of recent atrocities committed under his command has begun to shake his loyalty to the crown. Though he keeps his malcontent hidden from view, he is more and more finding the grand strategy of the Princess clashing with his personal beliefs - not just that her orders are immoral, which he could have accepted, but more that the lack of overall vision scares him, a steadily growing voice at his core constantly telling him that her plans are closer to madness, and that she may be swiftly running the kingdom into the ground. Deep down, he is afraid to admit that to continue to obey the Princess will likely bring the ruin of all he holds dear. That said, he finds himself trapped in his position. His family, in Eterlori, depend on his continued position as an officer for their financial survival, not to mention that they would be subject to reprisal were he to defect to the rebellion. Furthermore, the atrocities already committed under his orders guarantee that he has no future among the rebels, who would sooner kill him than accept his help. But at the same time, Eterlori will remain secure only as long as the powerful army built by the deceased king continues to operate, and he suspects that the combined pressures of persuasive rebel rhetoric and a shrinking food supply from the increasing loss of territory will one day break the army's back and leave his home of Eterlori exposed to indiscriminate pillage and plunder by rebels or opportunistic barbarians. With all that running through his mind, he plots his next moves carefully and waits for an opportunity to nudge the wheel of fate in way that will make a difference.

Background
Isiah comes from a formerly middle-class family consisting of his mother and his sister, making ends meet during the turbulent times, the women mainly doing merchant work while he fought street fights for cash since his dad died 5 years ago. Then during a battle, his sister was raped and killed by a wild component of the Revolt while he was away. His mother was physically fine since his sister gave her life to protect her, but this very same knowledge has caused his mother to have a break down, not even remembering Isiah or his sister and convinced that his dad was out somewhere and would return soon. Angered by this, he joined the Princess' Army to take revenge. He's not interested in ranks and damn sure doesn't agree with the morals and actions of the Princess, so he's still the lowest rung of soldier out there, but that doesn't matter to him. All he cares about is slaughtering the Revolt. Dealing with the bad aftertaste from being in the Princess Army can come after that.
Personality-wise, Isiah's not very mature, his entertainment taking second place only to his desire for Revolt soldier's blood. This causes some serious problems since he'll disregard orders to take the more fun, bloody path in a battle and he's been disciplined several times for it already. This doesn't mean he's stupid, he won't disregard an order if he knows it'll get him killed, either by the enemy or a higher-up, but, like mentioned before, he's just not very mature. He's also not very good with people, so he rents out a home out in Sharan in the middle of nowhere rather than stay in the barracks in Eterlori.

Background
Ellen was born in a rich family, that pretty much owes it wealth to the Princess. Trained in a young age to defend the Kingdom, Ellen is an excellent fighter and loyal servant to the Princesss. Even though she always will carry her Majesty's orders, she is doubtful of some harsh acts on the people. Ellen currently lives in Eterlori, currently a Sergeant of the Royal Guard. However, she likes to be with the Princess to pay her family's debt to her, acting more like a servant than a Sergeant.
