Hey Nico. How have you been? Guess you don't have Spring Break? My condolences if you don't.

Nope. Over here the breaks are usually around January, July and December. I recently got a promoted (yay) but that also ended up landing me a bunch of extra work on my plate (urgh).

So everything's going at full speed around here. I'm really sorry for the lack of posting guys, I'm going to force myself to get a post up by the end of this week.

All right, finally posted. I think I'm going to set things up so I always post in a specific day of the week, regardless of how many people posted or not.

Pros, that will help me post more often and will help me having to mega post for 10+ people, which makes my post take forever to type.

Cons, if you're not able to post weekly, you'll likely be losing rotations.

Let me know if you guys want me to do it like this or keep the current format.

It works for me, but I'm not totally sure about other people. Every week and a half could be a bit more lenient for some people.

Personally, I feel like you'd do better if you did a post once every other week, since you don't have to force yourself to get a mega post every week. Also, it should have made it to other players' notice, if not a post by then.

I can't guarantee a post every week. Lots of life happening and I'm joined at the hip with Icaelus. We're slow posters and I'd rather not miss character development to keep pace with the narrative. If you can spare a few extra days I imagine we'll be consistent. c:

Background:

Lyara was born upon a backwater agricultural planet that had, in the years prior to her birth, been sacked with little resistance to the mighty Ovelord. The recovering population toiled day in and you upon the horticulture fields, growing food to supply the forces of their master with little thank and much less than a grumble of discontent for fear of horrid retribution. It was a largely joyless life, and one that Lyara grew to detest as she grew. Her father was a meek man, like many of the planet's population, her mother a distant memory who had apparently left her husband shortly following Lyara's birth, an event preceding a hasty marriage. Perhaps, given no contact with the greater galaxy, Lyara too would have grown meek. Yet, her world was among Bayrios' empire now. Tales of this fearsome overlord leaked through the populace.

Tales of power and riches unimaginable. Tales or gruesome bloodshed and conquest. Of absolute and unflinching discipline. She knew early on she would not follow in the foot steps of her weak 'father'. She would a wolf, not a sheep. She would be like the man who had no doubt taken her mother as his own when their world fell, who truly sired her. Upon coming of age, she joined the ranks of the Overlord's forces by squirreling away enough money for travel to the system's recruiting station. From there, she was deployed into the Galaxy, fighting as her superior demanded, fucking whoever could be fucked, and relishing in the power her badge of occupation provided. An occupation that has recently landed her upon Patria to reinforce the troops fighting to subdue it.

Background: Brute, lackey, henchmen, bitch, and sow… Elijah has been called many things on and off the field of combat. While many would prefer to be using guns within these days. Ms. Barns has always been the exception. Remembering the details of the empire paladins that served honorably, dutifully, and most of all brutally against those that opposed them. It wasn't long until she was of age and enlisted hoping to prove herself the rank and title of paladin. In many fights she has proven her capability to fight and to protect her allies. Those she deems a threat are only a nuisance to her as she enables her allies opportunities to gain the kill or even success in the mission.

Unfortunately her poor upbring has not allotted her the favor of fortune. As such she has acquired everything within her arsenal overtime. Most would believe he to be some sort of suicidal sort…. But she knew better than them… She knew with with her humor and strength she would become a paladin one day.
