Net-Navi Program File-Odin
Age-appeared- 25

With this goal he kept through and got into a college which teaches all about net navis and net battling. During the middle of his first year of college he developed Odin, and his trusty sniper rifle, Gungir. He got into a fight with his parents and left to stay in acdc town with his relatives while finishing his college education. He works part time at Higsby's during the week.

@whodaman
Actually, that's not what I assumed it to be. I assumed 'sense' determined how well one could detect others and 'presence' determined how easily an enemy could detect you, with the higher number meaning you're more easily discovered. (Although, thinking about it some more, that doesn't make a lot of sense. If that was the case, then how and why would any idiot other than me increase the 'presence' stat, and how would that stat get leveled up?) I second the petition. Also, I may need to edit my profile later.

Wait, your element is one? That doesn't make any sense. Which element is it?

well, it says all weapon stats start as one, so I did that, I am pretty sure that the mega buster had that stat, but you could not level it up.

So I guess the element is normal.

Edit: in regards to your presence thing, the sense makes sense, but the presence does not. If presence were just hide, your net navi would find this impossible. I mean, have you ever heard of a stealthy colossal dragon? Dragons are not stealthy for 2 reasons, they dont give a fuck, and they just can not.

okay, the reason why putting points into presence to make yourself more "hey guys, I am over here" is because that would give my character a very big advantage over everyone else, since I am going for the stealthy ninja net navi. If presence was what you think it is, my character is broken, I misread your comments thinking you wanted your big ol dude to hide since you didn't want to intimidate, which your character would draw aggro because of this stat. I really hope that your suggestion is what is right, but at the same time I do not want to be a munchkin.

The higher your presence, the better you are at controlling it (I.e. hiding in a room or intimidating someone.)

So, it relies on common sense to determine which ability it is? (Stealth/Intimidation)

Hey, Crimson, you accidentally only gave your Thunder attacks letter codes, you forgot the other battle chips.

I believe that was intentional, and since his element cost 2 points, he factored that in his CS, so his weapons statistics would be attack: 3 rapid: 1 charge: 2 element: 3: electric 1 only because 1 point in element costs 2 points. he should most likely call it electric 1, unlike my character who has no element, so I made my character element: 1

But, no. The battlechip letters just determine which battlechips one can use in conjunction with each other. So there's no reason to just give one set of battlechips a letter code, since same battlechips can be used in conjunction as well, regardless of letter coding. Also, I don't think there is any reason to single out attacks that are the same element as the NetNavi. Having an element just makes your NetNavi resistant against certain elemental attacks and weak against others; it's sort of like a special armor one would get from the get-go. Finally, when a NetNavi doesn't associate itself with an element, I'd think it better just not to mention element on the character sheet or to at least say 'Element:0;' refering to the neutral element as 'Element:1' just seems misleading.

It says specifically in the sign-up sheet that putting a point into Element costs 2. Otherwise your elements would be 0

just thought I would point out that, no, there is nowhere on the signup character sheet that element starts at 0, there is only it stating all stats start at 1 and can can only go up to lvl 5.

with this said, I have put my element to 0 for now till op posts/edit stating otherwise.

Net-Navi Program File- Bub-Burst
Age- 26 (Bub) 19 (Burst)

The 2 Navis are the cool and levelheaded Bubble Man, and the unhinged Burst Man. Bubble Man is in control most of the time, but as they are put under more stress, Burst Man comes out.

Strength- 10
Agility- 5

I'm ready to go.

I guess I'll also make it a part of my character that the reason he/they don't need an Operator, is that the BubbleMan acts as one from the inside, while BurstMan listens to Bub's orders. When they are under too much stress (which I guess would happen when the LP starts getting low), BurstMan takes over and acts more rashly.

Soru Wrote:Yeah, I'm not sure what presence is really. But I do agree that the primary should be on the Net-Navis. Though you may want to include in that CS their basic weapons, maybe type, and personality.

Another name for the stat known as Charisma. I saw it used in SWTOR, it generally helped make your allies fight better.

So, I take it this did lift off as an idea? If there's a game for it, I'd be interested in potentially joining.
