I would say something yellow or see-through, but that's me.

Fire - Red -
Lightning - yellow
Wind - Green
Earth - brown
Void - black etc.

I know it has to be yellow just not sure what stone if zeus has one in mind or if I can pick my own
if that be the case wonder if I can use a yellow diamond? or if I have my own gem can I socket it onto a wand on the table?

It's Topaz. My character is lightning primary, and my other guess on gems are Ruby= Fire, Saphire= Ice.

The main problem with some of these is that the magic is immaterial, and there aren't many materials that come to mind when building items to channel such magic.

Haha, as soon as I take a night off everyone posts everything ever.

Currently, only tier one gems are available (if I posted the wrong gems, then I apologize; I was just trying to get the post down before bed)

Fire: Red spinel, cinnabar, Ruby
Ice: Aquamarine, Lapis lazuli, Sapphire
Lightning: Topaz, Citrine, Yellow diamond
Acid: Moldavite, Tourmaline, Emerald
Sound: Zircon, Corundum, Diamond
Stasis: Quartz, moonstone, opal
Light: Pearl, Beryl, Alexandrite
Dark: black pearl, Onyx, black diamond
Attraction: Tanzanite, garnet, amethyst
Repulsion: Amber, Chrysoberyl, Agate.

One quick note before I head out: I tend to be resistant to change, but that doesn't mean I want to shut people down. This universe has been rolling around in my head for a while, so I'm reluctant to completely break paradigms, but with thought I can make many things fit into the RP format.

As well, for people getting special items or abilities, it takes a little bit for me to evaluate whether that'll be possible. For example, Sanowa needs a skilled artificer to attach a yellow diamond to a wand, but she could still use it for storage. As tier three gems have about 8 times the capacity of tier one gems, I'm reluctant to allow Sanowa to have one already. It would be a lot more reasonable for her to have Citrine, but no suitably skilled artificer to make it into a wand.

I know, but bear with me. I could give you a yellow diamond but arbitrarily not let Sanowa use it in a wand until later in the story, but I don't think I'm comfortable with Sanowa having a yellow diamond wand in our first couple missions.

Not as of right now, but I can support multiple gems per tier.

Waitaminute. Blue, get outta here! You don't even have a character! XD

Raised Corundum tier to 2 to better match sapphire and ruby. Lowered zircon tier to 1 because nobody likes zircon. XD

The gems can be used to store and release energy without wands or staves, but they can't be used effectively in battle without being mounted in wands or staves. For Melek, he has gem slots in his armor that he can use as if they were a wand, staff, or rod gem slot, however as with Sanowa he needs an artificer to mount gems in it. Melek will also need to find a special gem that can hold Breaking, but for now I think he'd do best with some Moldavite.

@Blue: Dat computer operation skill...

Yep! When Melek is getting his gems attached, you'll be able to get yours attached too. First campaign will be over by then, but in a few game months after that you'll be able to attach it.
