Sorry, I've hit some sort of writter's block on this RP...I have response formed in my head, but every time I sit down to write up a post, I can't put it in words
If it takes me two weeks or more to respond to a RP without prior notice, send me a PM. It's more likely I've missed the last post, forgot or got distracted and need a little reminder rather than deciding to drop the game without warning.

Bio: Krisora, or Kris, grew up in a military home. her father had strict discipline and rules for the household. Naturally Kris had to disobey the rules at every turn. Her parents quickly realized that to curb her wild side they had to send her away. Upon arriving at the military base she was immediately selected to join the assassins corp. Someone somewhere thought that they could turn her crazy energy into a fear inspiring cold blooded killer, and they did. In her specialized training they emphasized assassinations while performing difficult acrobatic stuns. The only problem about her training is that she tends to literally leap right into trouble, even if it gets her and her allies killed. While her mentors noticed this they did nothing to stop it, because it would only enhance her abilities to kill quickly and easily.

However once her family heard about her special training they were not pleased. Her father always thought that stabbing a man in the back was dishonorable, and so he refused to talk to her and all but disowned her. Kris decided then that she would do anything she could to win her father's approval, even if it meant assassinating the leader of the rebellion herself.

Its about time for another round of advancements, the following characters will gain 4 Advancement points which can be spent according to the chart below.

Ash
Alanis
Rosette
Faye
Selena

In addition Ash will receive a new weakness from chaos taint and Rosette will have the option of removing her current edges for chaos edges.

Advancement
As Kill team members complete objectives they will earn upgrade points which may be spend on the following.
1. Gain a new Edge
2. Increase a skill that is equal to or greater than its linked attribute by one die.
3. Increase two skills that are lower than their linked attributes by one die each.
4. Buy a new skill starting at d4.
5. Increase one attribute, this may only be done once every 4 upgrade points.

1. agility to d12 (reaching almost superhuman levels...Slaanesh likes them fast and nimble)
2. New skill: Knowledge at d4
3. Increase Fighting and Stealth to d12 (ninja!)
4. New Edge: Quicker then the eye: You can't outrun a bullet...but you don't have to stand in the front of a barrel when the trigger's pressed. Can use parry value against ranged attacks as long as she doesn't wear restricting armor or clothes and is aware of the attacker. Doesn't work against area attacks and automatic fire. Can't react to attacks from multiple directions at once (not sure if balanced)

New weakness: Whispers of Slaanesh: must pass a Spirit check to restrain herself from actions which would offer a quick thrill/new sensations, even if they would be harmful to herself. Either GM will when to roll, or I'll roll myself at the start of my post, if I decide situation demands it. If the check succeeds, Ash can act normally, otherise she would do whatever feels like "good" idea at the moment, regardless of consequences

Thinking about picking up some (chaos-tainted) psyker powers in the future...we'll see

1. New Skill: Tracking D4
2. Increase: Tracking to D6 and survival to D10
3. New Edge: Surgical Precision- Using her knowledge on on medicine and the biology of humans and aliens alike. Selena knows what parts of a body to shoot to receive crippling results. (Bonus to shooting with more precise weaponry. Not including Flamers, plasma, melta, and launchers. Bonus only applies to Las, solid, bolt, and melee weapons.)
4.Increase Attribute: Agility to D8

Phoenixcz when I was rolling her up and trying to figure out a background for her I realized, shhiiiiiiiiit its completely unconventional, but thats what came to my head when I was rolling a character so I stuck with it :P, trust me I am a big fan of 40k and the Imperium. Had a large 1.3k-ish army at one point

Well there's nothing to say that the local PDF/ Culture doesn't have its own assassins (The Death Cults and the Officio Assassinorum are the Imperial's assassins, planetary governors need to get their own somehow). At times the 40K fluff is a bit too ridged/unbelievable/lacking depth or people don't read between the lines (so sick of young Tau players thinking they are playing the "good guys" because their motto is the greater good).

I'm kinda curious on your experience with 40k now... I've only really done 40k stuff with hazard and that's very little.
