I think like a lawyer, if you don't like it then don't do it yourself. You made a claim that was attacking my claim, so i brought in a third claim.

Wow, this is a lot of interest! I must have done something right when I came up with this. 10 characters entered thus far. This is going to be pretty crazy! Alright, time to roll up the sleeves.......

BlueLight, you have the right of my original intention. The intention for the 'bonus giving equipment' was that people could have up to three pluses to spend on their equipment. Each piece of equipment could give a maximum of +2 to a single check. Thus, a person with a dagger for +1, leather armour for +1, and a grooming mirror for +1 charm, would have hit their allotment. Sexy Leather Armour that gives a +1 to might combat checks and +1 to charm would count for two of the three pluses allowed to be assigned. You could even have all three pluses upon one item, say a Sword of Legend that gives a +2 to it's might and a +1 to it's charm for those inspired by heroism. The important thing is that all the total pluses add up to 3. Still, thanks everyone for pointing out where I slipped up in typing that up.

I've tallied up people's gear, and a few people have some decisions to make.

Rooiehaan, your bow is +2, your armour is +1 and +1, and your dagger is +1, making a total of +5. You'll need to shave off two pluses.

TheDaughterOfHades14, the ninja girl outfit is +1 and +1, the sword is +2, and the monster guide book is +2 as well. You currently sit at a +6 and need to shave off 3. You also haven't selected any 'random non-plused gear'. You don't have to, but you can if you want to. Also, with her job being swordsman, you might want to consider changing her Might score, as that is probably what you'll be rolling in a fight. If you don't want to though, the monsters will be pleased to make your lovely lady's acquaintaince though. :D

dndman997, very nice picture. Your gear hasn't got any pluses assigned to it yet. You don't have to have your +3 if you don't want it, that's fine. Right now your sword and dagger could be used for posts and such, but won't be of any more help in an actual fight than your hands. I note she also has a Might as a d4. The monsters will certainly be grateful for that, but perhaps you'll ambush them with cunning instead?

Icaelus, your grimoire is +2, your outfit is +1, and your translator is +2, so you're sitting at a +5. You'll need to shave off two pluses. Also, you don't seem to have any 'non plused equipment', so you are entitled to three pieces if you want it.

As to the start of the game.... I suppose I shall work on getting the first posting up for that right now, considering the demand! Feel free to post in even if your gear isn't perfected yet, it'll be fine so long as we have it done by the time you need to make a check for something.

good thing my stuff is all sorted out. all i did was exchange +1 might on a weapon for +1 charm on the clothes so it's truly a "sexy ninja girl's outfit" (you know for some reason i can't help but feel +1 charm will be immensely useful...)

so now i just kick back in my bean bag anddddd wait

So i'm now a little confused about the amount of items i can have.

How i understood this, we were allow 3 items, bonus or not.
How i am now under standing it, we are allow 3 items with a bonus (Depends how power said bonus is) and some number of non bonus items.

lets say i have 4 characters. Please tell me which one would work

Character 1: knife +1, armor +1, rope;
Character 2: Knife +1, Armor +1, Condoms +1, rope;
Character 3: Rope, light source, butter knife, unopenable coin purse:
Character 4: Rope, light source, coin purse;

Okay, so let's see if I can get it right for you this time. Try to think of the equipment as two separate piles.

Each character is allowed to have equipment that has a bonus to a stat roll. The total bonuses allowed on stat rolls for this pile of gear has to total up to +3. There can be any number of items in this pile, such as three that each have +1, or 1 that has +2 and one that has +1, or one that has +1 and one that has two +1's upon it. As long as all the + total to 3 or less, you are good to go.

Each character is also allowed to have a completely separate pile of 3 pieces of equipment. These three pieces won't give you any actual pluses to rolls, they will just be things you have. This includes things like rope, gloves, books, a mirror, whatever you want to have. It's your chance to tell me that your character would carry this stuff on you. For example, if you overpower a goblin and want to tie it up, you can do so because you have rope in your 3 items list.

For Character 1: they have two +1, meaning they have a +1 left they can pick. They have one other item, meaning they can pick two more.
For Character 2: they have three +1 items, meaning they have all of their + giving gear. They have one other item, meaning they can pick two more.
For Character 3: they have no + items, and thus can pick up to +3 worth. They have four other items and need to get rid of one.
For Character 4: they have no + items, and thus can pick up to +3 worth. They have three other items, and thus have the right amount for that pile.

Icaelus, yup, that will be just fine. You are still entitled to three random bits of gear if you want them, but you don't need them.

BlueLight, glad that cleared things up.

Say, "eni mein, mineie moe" and pick one. ;)

Also i'm still updating my character sheet with items but it's just random stuff that i'll be adding.

Also i want to add a magic crystal to my items; it wont boost my abilities for the dice roll but what it will do is allow my character see stuff like you would with a micro scope.
What i was thinking is the strongest light source around determines what type micro scope it acts like. If you have it out side when you use then you'll use the light from "The sun, the night(moon and stars), sunset and sunrise." When the sun is out it acts like a normal microscope and at night it acts like a election microscope (just in case you didn't know, Electron microscope are powerfully. They are able to see viruses. I believe the background is back and the objects show up white with electron microscope.). Mar wasn't told what it does at other light levels and hasn't ever thought about trying it.

Is that okay for an item?

Hmm, interesting idea for an item. I'm going to go ahead and say yes, that sounds fine. I look forward to finding out what you decide to do with it. Doesn't strike me as terribly useful, so I eagerly await you showing me why I'm a fool. :)
