If I'm drinking something straight, I usually tend to go with Scotch.

When I first discovered booze, I was really into pirates. So I went for red wines and cheap spiced rum. And now it's what I'm most comfortable with (it's also cheaper and cleaner than bottles of beer). I even mix the rum with water at first to make grog, yo ho! Gives my tongue time to adjust.

I've had good scotch before though, it's so utterly different. It actually tastes good. But my favorite flavor is still cabernet-sauvignon wine. I haven't had any in a while, I should pick up a bottle of Yellow Tail sometime... Right now I'm just drinking domestic piss-beer, which is practically grog. The only taste is the carbonation.
