Joking aside i haven't been keeping track so I have no idea what's happening. I could GM you guys right now if i wanted to. (I would need to at least read all taria post and figure out her role playing style.)

Ya, I think taria not going to get one for a while, we managed to keep the poor girl up all night and most the day. guess she deserves a good rest though.

EDIT: just realized what I said and it was TOTALLY NOT MEANT IN ANY PERVERSE WAY! She was up all night RPING!

Now I'm faced with the decision of how to cycle to the next day when people where in the middle of convorsations with spirits... Ah, I'll just make them say it's getting late and leave, and then the guys can act like they had enough time to go home, sleep and get up again.

As for the storyline, I'm still not completely decided on the spirits all being female. I just haven't put any though into making male background characters. The reason male guardian and female spirit must be bonded however is because it is impossible for spirits to exist outside of their world without some sort of "anchor" into the human realm. And the time limit is from the fact that the portal only comes back on day 50, so you either have to leave or miss returning home.

Alright I think what I was trying to say last night was, Even if the spirits were happy to be with you, the purpose of coming there was not to bond with them for the sake of the bond but for an outer purpose. Why did you think Thae/Chiyoko had a hard time trying to explain it to Lilia? The reason is because it's not something to be taken lightly. The bond is hard enough to deal with on a daily basis (Couples being so weird with their love each other, fight, love each other, love each other, fight some more, love some more etc etc) but then you gotta throw in a goal of saving the world on top of it?I am all for missing the portal if there was enough willing
bonds to go there and make my home on there XD! Point is basically it seems wrong.. Love/bonds shouldn't be made like that. *shrugs* I like the roleplay though don't get me wrong, but the love is hard to call love when it's for what purpose the organization/guild has charged us with if that makes sense.

Anyways, so I was talking to Lilia and waiting for a response from her, do I just say something along the lines that my character notices the sun draws down and etc insert noticing the night comingetc it was a pleasure etc insert nice stuff here etc??

That's why i tried to spell out the story like i did. human souls can spend a total of 90 days in the spirit world (at best) and 50 days without seeing side effects of being gone from their body. the portal can only open every 50 days so it's either go through to portal or fade away into nothingness. THIS part is explained. As for why they need to "bond" with a spirit, they only get told that they need to convince the spirit to come through the portal and explain that they need to be anchored however. (I modified that last part to match taria) They did not explain that the only way to bond with a spirit is to share a common love with her, they just said "find a way to convince her to come to this realm with you" knowing spirits where quite attractive so there was a good chance they would become close. In the end, it is the threat of a monster ruled world and the threat of death to human (now also the death of the spirit) that makes them cooperate with the guild. I probably didn't make the story coherent this time around but you should at least be able to draw the raw facts from it. It probably needs a little touching up and some questions answered but I'm just giving ideas on lore. the story itself can be written up after we get all the facts strait.

Don't put words in my mouth, I help come up with the plot of the game, and some of the mechanics, but I know nothing about the guild. Which is why my character is ignorant, because I don't want to ruin taria's plan. On a side note made it to the french canadian news today after getting in a serious fight, making the 6 o clock news.

like I said we need to get this all straitened out so we all know exactly what to say when our past is questioned. Perhaps they still meant for that stuff to happen but only told us "you have been chosen as potential members of the guild, to get into the guild and reap the rewards of both physical and mental value, you must enter this portal and convince one of the spirits to bond with you and come to this world. You will have 50 days and if you do not re-enter the portal after those 50 days are up and the portal reopens then you will fade away to nothing in the spirit world." As for what everyone has heard about the guild, it has been said that those who join often become the fiercest warriors, brightest minds, and most respected nobles among various other things of great value. This way you can be as ignorant as you want while still having a good reason to attempt the challenge.

Just reread some things: @ misc: before this comes up, I'm saying it would be accidental love and that this is the only way for them to come with you. You accidentally fall in love with them, the girl falls for you. you mention that your sorry but you can't stay or else you'll fade (or you could go out in this style: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/588914). If they fall in love you do the fruit thing (i guess that's how tarias doing it) and go through the portal together.

Sorry I wasn't/ trying I didn't try put words in your mouth I assumed something was how I thought it was. I am sorry if I offended you or was acting like it was how I thought it was. *shrugs* It's been a slow morning for me.

On that note you did act like you were disaproving of the guild's choices when talking to lilia which she pointed out to the point of why you are even with the guild then? If I wasn't mistaken and I don't want to make an ass myself again so you can confirm or deny it before I assume anything else.

Besides, what her ic character says to my ic character isn't A) in game knowledge for everyone else B) isn't the bonding process, For all we know its making reference to a date-rape drug, an aphrodisiac, or a shitty scene of chiyoko singing if you like pina coladas.
