Wanna know something weird? So every time I right a post or think about the story for this RP, I listen to music. Specifically, I listen to Queen, most of the time. Well, while listening to some Queen while NOT writing a post, something strange dawned on me. Queen's The Prophet Song ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZjjsrn9FY4 ), I started thinking about the plot for this RP.

The weird thing? The song fits perfectly with where this RP is going. As in, to the letter. The Prophet's Song is the theme song for Project Argonaut. If you've heard the song before, you know why this may or may not be a good thing.

Great song just listened to it. Scary shit sounds like a bad thing then. I just hope the Argonaut doesn't kill us. Will he activate as soon as we open the cryotube?

Yes, he will. That won't happen for a while though. Trying to get everyone over to where Emile and Yolandi are, while still doing everything I planned in between. Pretty difficult. I was hoping to make this all fit into one thread, like Zender's Rise of the Polygems, but decided to fuck that. I'll make a post tonight.

Also, this is just about before the halfway marker, so I would like to ask you guys: What do you think? Of the story, my GM skills, everything. Please be brutally honest, I could use the criticism.

Oh, another question: Who would sign up for this again? I will be making a second installment if we get that far, and would like to know as a rough guess who would return.

i'm not in this thread but i highly recommend you compact your battle stats info (hp and whatnot) into the same spoiler tag as the posts for the characters involved

I would for sure sign up for this again. And I like the story line, and your skills are pretty good. I know I can't really complain, even though Im stuck in a cell.

i guess you could say it's preference but i think it's mostly for format + neatness

because it makes it look like you're making more posts than you actually are especially if you're posting for multiple peeps i expect there to be only one spoiler tagged post each situation cuz breaking it up into multiple makes me think you're posting individually for each char

First off, Jay, if you're wondering where I've been the past few days...well, I've been recovering from a state of emergency after a killer storm crashed through my area, putting more than 1 million people in a black-out, some for what may be 7 days (though my area got damn lucky on power coming back up), and overall fucking up life for just about everybody in Virginia. Aside from what Nap pointed out about keeping battle stats and events in the same spoiler tag as the narration, I will say this: you're not doing bad on the story so far. I'll admit, I didn't see that incident with Jack coming at all...and when I learned that he was the female Paladin's former lover, I think that's a neat little twist to throw in. Is it important in the story's big picture? Probably not, methinks, but still a nice touch.

Gotta say though, you seem to have acquired a LOT of this RP's inspiration from my Polygems thread, and it shows quite obviously.

That's why i was gone for most of the weekend as well MY house was fine but my friends was trashed by fallen tries no bad damage but cleanup suckeddddd. Glad your okay though Zender

the funnel never touched down but it was like 40 feet over my house x.x lucky we don`t have any trees cuase of all the farm land! poor goochland though we just can`t catch a break first that earthquake then this xD
