Pokémon: Gotta Fuck 'Em All! (OOC Round 3)

Alright, for the most part I have everyone's post nice and typed up. The exceptions are the new guys: Spriter, Earth Sage, and Gingo. Before I finish yours up, I have a question: What do you want out of the Pokémon world? That helps me to guide your stories and kind of tailor it to each player rather than just slapping them into a plot in progress. For Spriter it's kinda inevitable since Aine's dropping in in the middle of a fight, but outside of that I mean.

No, please, slap me right into the plot in progress; that's how I designed the character. Really, I just want to get wrapped up in a story.

Hey Misc, just noticed that the NPC list for Remmi is a bit ahead of the thread, and lists her as capturing that Absol. Want me to hold off on trying to capture it and leave it for her?

Oh, that was from the period of time when you had dropped out. I hadn't expected you to come back, so I advanced Remmi a bit. Consider that bit non-canon now and I'll delete it soon. Remmi would like the Absol though since it covers Seraphim's weakness to Darkness.

I thought that was probably what had happened. I'd be fine with either option - if Remmi gives an IC indication that she wants it, Raph will leave it for her.

I'm a bit... conflicted as to capturing random Pokemon in this. I'd rather just cherry-pick a fairly small team (the whole 'capture one of everything and leave 99% of them in the PC at lvl 5' thing has always felt a bit wrong to me), but it's a lot easier to take your time looking for specific Pokemon in the games. Not taking opportunities for building the team whenever they arrive seems foolish, given what's going on...
