The story of Canan's birth isn't unusual: a human woman got caught up during an Orc raid and ended up pregnant with its kid. With a beginning like that she's rather surprised her mother carried her to term, but that was the end of kindness shown. Shortly after her birth, she was abandoned to an orphanage who hated her for her blood. She was raised terribly and with as little supplies as the caretakers could get away with before she just ran away at age 6. Since then, she's wandered the world trying to find somewhere to be, always unsuccessful due to her orcish blood. The few times she thought she came close it turned out that they merely wanted to use her as a fuck-toy since she was graced with beauty unusual for her kind. She managed to escape with her virtue intact every time, but it's made her incredibly distrustful of the world around her and she took to only interacting with people when need be.

During her wanderings, she came across the religion of Cayden Cailean and felt a sort of comradery with him due to the way he lived his life freely and without being shackled to anyone. The next town she came across, she bought a pint of ale and formally indicted herself to his religion, picking up spells and such during her travels. From there she learned that alcohol is the great equalizer- either making all get along with one another regardless of race or creed or getting them smashed enough that they just don't care- and used that fact to change herself from the withdrawn husk going through the motions to a boisterous gal that'd make her deity proud. She's still a bit reserved and still believes that her survival and freedom is paramount to all else, but she's willing to have a bit more fun with life than she was previously. Whether that's a good or bad thing is something only time will tell.

as for class... we have a fighter and an off fighter class. so cleric is pretty good... and wait how many mages do we have i counted only two. and there's a cleric!

That's what I was going for. It's easy to do an ugly or average half-orc. Playing as a pretty one in a world that usually looks down on orcs in general... should be fun

i have a decent amount of lvl one pathfinder characters in reserve. I can try to fish one out if you really need it. Right about now the party could use a rouge or bard with high intelligence, we could use a jack of all trades sort character in the group for those opportunistic skill checks.

Alright, I live again. Let's see how many questions I can answer!

@Everyone: I think I'll keep this down to 8 players or less, I don't want to be swamped. If you already have a character on here BEFORE this was answered (making it 9 or over) then I'll keep ya on board until death

@Phoenix: You send me a PM and we'll work something out about what you can be and not be, though I still want ya lot to be core

@Everyone again: Drow is acceptable, but I don't wanna see Drows fucking everywhere, when they're mostly an underground race.

@Zender: I would prefer you to start as a sneaky rogue and then we can see about you becoming a ninja later in the game.

@Everyone Once more: Just to be on the safe side, if you're here for a free roaming game, you're Shit out of luck, this is dice based. So don't go thinking you can take on a dragon or an entire clan by yourself, cause chances are, you'll die.

Now, due note: I am working on a map (a shit map, but a map none the less) to use for this and may have came up with a name, but i'm going to run it over a few times so as to not make one that's a fuck up. I like the fact that everyone is more or less neutral, cause the way this game will go, you'll either be good guys, bad guys, or a little on both sides (I don't care if I have to do two or multiple groups if you lot split from one another).

Those stats are rather awesome... Surprised someone else chose a tower shield too. Most folks shy away from it thanks to the lack of shield bash and -2 to attack rolls even with the proficiency.

Lol, I spent another 10gp on shield spikes. I didn't notice any attack penalties o.o
