Planet Of The Rapes: In-Character

[That_One_Guy]

Garian didn't find any other holes in that area and just proceeded down the hall, hoping to find someone alive or at least circle around to the armory to grab the auto-turret. When he got to one of the working lights, he checked his body over, his black boots were a little scratched from the crash, but his clothes and overcoat were intact. The flak Jacket he wore wasn't damaged either. Upon sighing with relief he started on his way again, humming a tune that he didn't know the lyrics to nor the name of.

Kit swore as they hit the ground. She is groggy, and staggers to the communications console.
"Medical here. Kit reporting. Who needs report? Also, can someone please find Iayden? Please?" she asks, then staggers to take stock of medical, looking to see which advanced facilities are still working. She then hurries to get the portable packs ready. She is ready to head out, but still needs to make sure that medical is staffed, then gets it set up for triage.

she hits the communication again when done. "Medical here. Ready for triage. Please bring all causalities to the medical bay asap."

She speaks calmly, but inside she's worried, very worried. Especially For Iayden, her friend and adopted sister.

Jack follows the person shooting locks and rushes into Iyaden's room, pulling his medical kit out of his shell. Hurriedly, he gestures at the other to go get the other doors open while he begins looking over Iyaden.

[Thaedael]

"Jack you motherfucker, it's about time!", however before I can even finish the sentence my feline eyes adjust to the continued darkness. "Captain!".

I rush over to her as she collapses against me. Already I can tell something is wrong, Aerith lacks her normal sense of self, and from what I can deduce right away she must be badly hurt. "Just Hang in there!"

With little choice in what to do I wrap one of her arms over my shoulder and hoist her out of the room, before pulling myself as well. With her cradled against my back in piggy-back form, I begin to hobble my way towards medical shouting periodically as I go past rooms, "Hello anyone there?".

As I make my way towards the medical bay I begin to notice the bad-shape of the ship, and the shoddy craftsmanship of the makeshift barriers; their form made by welding and affixing all matters of junk to the wall. As Iyaden runs towards medical she begins to think of her friend Kit, and praying she made it through the initial impact. Her talent will be needed a lot in the hours following.

I round the corner leading into the medical bay with the captain on my back.

Jack looks around, then decides to follow Iyaden, as he has nothing better to do.

Kit hears the voices, then gasps as Iayden rushes in with the captain. She hesitates only briefly, before taking charge.
"Quickly, get her to the operating table." she shouts, putting on the latex gloves, and grabbing a portable diagnostic tool.
"Quickly. Jack.. hgo see about the others. Iayden, stay here and help me.."
she shouts, then starts to work on the captain, her attention focused.
She runs the scanner over the captain, looking for the damage.
"Iayden, get me the bandages, and pain killers. should be in cabinet."
she orders, then looks up at Jack.
"Get moving, Doctor!" she shouts, before turning back to the injured captain.

Garian heard someone running behind him and quickly turned around and saw no one there, he backtracked towards his barricade and made a turn towards medical, gun in hand, his game back on as he turned serious and ready to shoot the first unwanted creature he came across. He continued down the hallway and entered the Medical Room and relaxed upon seeing the other shipmates, "Everyone here alright?" He asked and then noticed the Captain laying there, noting that he just saw her not too long ago, "Will she be alright?" He asked, adopting a blank, serious face for them to see.

Jack pushes past Garian, hands above his head and recently grabbed medical kit clenched tightly in one of said hands, a pair of latex gloves in the other, "Doctor! Doctor! Who needs a Doctor!" He yells this, similar to a siren, as he hurries down hall to Engineer and Science.

[Thaedael]

Iyaden lets a smile crawl across her face, a little relieved to see her friend, and gives her a nod of her head. She motions for Jack to help her carry the captain over to one of the few gurneys that is still upright in the shell of the medical bay. She whispers as an aside to Jack, "When the hell did you get here? If I find out after this that you were with the captain all along and let me carry her all by myself I am going to punch you so hard you fat-ass!"

She hoists the captain onto the gurney with the help of Jack, and begins to notice how weak Jack really is, or rather that his malformed shell is what really causes him to be the way he is. Feeling a pinch of guilt for being rather insensitive, she jokingly punches Jack, "I am kidding, if I were to do that I would just break my hand on your shell, and you would be the one fixing it. So I better treat you well".

Iyaden moves away from the gurney looking around the medical bay. She begins rummaging through the cabinets for bandages, and pain killers while the medical staff already begin to prep for operation. She also manages to find one of the stim-packs, and decides to take one for her journey out of the medical bay.

"Here you go Kit, got you what you needed", she says it visibly winded from the long ordeal. She looks over her friend, and gives her a quick hug before whispering in her ear, "Thank god your alive, don't know what I would do without you".

"I need to get to the engineering bay, I need to start looking for other survivors, and to put out the fires. If the generators or engines go up in smoke this ship will not be able to handle surgery under the barest conditions. It might not be much but I need to help.", she speaks with a tone of authority to the assembled crew.

Already she prepares to defend her decision against any objections Kit might have.

[Danalthar]

Jack is already gone and looking for new people. Iyaden will probably be able to catch up with him, though.

Kit growls at hearing this, but then looks up.
"Hell no. I need you here to help me. Besides, you look injured. You need to let me look you over."
She turns the scanner on Iayden, despite any protests. She definitely does not want her friend and adopted sister to go towards danger.

she hears the comment.
"The captain should be fine. Now that she is here."

Kit then looks at the results of the scan and sighs.
"WEll.. you're fine. "

she also sighs as the rational side take over.
"FIne... go help.. but don't get yourself hurt, that's an order!" she growls out, then grabs the painkillers and injects them into the captain, easing the pain.

[Cpt Fandango]

Shae simply sits there as she hears the sounds retreat from her. Multiple times, she tries to call out, but before any sound can leave her lips, a piercing pain in her side silences her. As such, she resigns herself to her fate, and simply rests against the wall, her eyes closed, waiting for the ship to go down in flames. However, it wasn't long before she hears more sounds headed back in her general direction.

When Shae hears someone call out about needing a doctor, she tries to shout back, only to be silenced once again. Infuriated at her weakened, state, she pushes herself up using the metal bar she had grabbed, and slowly begins trudging her way to the voice. She can only manage a few steps, however, before she collapses, the metal bar clanging loudly against the ground. Determined to survive, she manages to drag herself a couple feet before passing out from the pain.

Garian looked over Kit, Iyaden and the Captain and then back at the medical staff, "Is there anything you need me to do?" He asked them, still at the door. If they didn't need him, he would be gone before they knew it as he still needed to go to the Armory and grab the Auto Turret as well as spare clips for his weapons, "If not then I will be on my way and leave you two to your business."

Jack hears Shaelyn hit the floor as she passes out, and turns to the door her presumes to be her bunker. He tucks the latex gloves inside the medical kit and puts the kit down. He then runs at the door and jumps, half-coiling into his shell mid-jump in an attempt to get the door down.

[Thaedael]

Her friend lied, it was obvious that something came up on the scan, but she knew Iyaden wouldn't listen. She looks worryingly into her friends eye and gives her a quick wink, "I will be fine just have faith in me, if I don't make it back in one piece you can kill me then". She gave her another quick hug before turning back toward the crew. Jack had already left the medical bay god knows why.

"Is there anything you need me to do?", asked Garian from behind where she stood. She didn't know him well and up until this point has been very stand-offish with him. However now was not the time to judge the rest of the crew, but to have faith in one another.

"Garian, the engineering deck is near the security deck. I don't want to leave Kit here alone, however the ship fire needs to be fought. I don't want to run the full length of the ship alone in my condition and the best plan would be to pair up. If you want to go your own way once we reach the engineering deck that is fine with me. We also better catch up with Jack, he couldn't have gotten too far."

She gives a final glance to her friend, and mouths quietly "Thank You", before turning on her heel and heading out the door, giving Garian a few seconds to make up his mind.

Garian nodded at her and turned around and ran the way he came from, his weapon slung on his back as he turned the corner and went down the hallway he was heading to in the first place before stopping, looking at Jack trying to break the door open, "What's going on, whats in there?" He asked, looking over at the door, he needed to get to engineering, but if someone was in there than he needed to get them to Medical.

Kit nods. the scan had revealed a some bleeding and bruising, however more importantly her left eardrum was perforated, but she knew her sister well enough that she would fight past it. No point worrying about it now, she had to keep focus on the captain. She looks up at the security officer, but he's already left. She returns her attention to the captain.

The captain had some damage, and she starts to heal it up, but it's slow, especially with the threat of power failure. She knew that the back-up power supply that the medical bay had wouldn't last much longer, and that it was taking the very last of the power to treat the captain.

Garian growled as Jack was taking too long to break down the door and pushed him to the side, "My turn to try" He told him as he unslung his rifle and aimed at the door and fired several shots at the hinges and then grabbed the door and brought it down his side in case the person inside was right at the door. He looked inside and spotted Shae and looked back at Jack, "I'll take her to Medical, you head to Engineering, I was told there was a fire down there that needed to be extinguished, he said, already slinging his rifle again.

Garian had gotten ahead of her, and afforded her a view of his backside. The way he tensed his back as he moved made her ponder his past, it looked like he may have had military training. They ran down the length of the corridor, stopping in some areas to traverse the fallen debris. He helped her navigate through the piles of rubble and collapsed cables, a handsome smile playing out across his face.

Before long she catches up to Jack and Garion again, Jack standing over a broken door triumphantly, a roar of guttural victory emerging from his throat. In his arms is the limp form of Shae. "Jack, how is she!" She begins to fumble with her pockets looking for the stim-pack she had tucked away earlier.

"I don't know if this will suffice but it should knock her back into consciences and stop the bleeding", she said to Jack. I took a moment to tear the sleeve of my blouse off. "Take the Stim-Pack, and use this fabric to fashion a make-shift tourniquet, and get her back to medical."

Iyaden looks back to Garion, unsure how to proceed. As she turns from the scene she realizes there were gunshots on the door. Did Jack have a gun she didn't know about?

Garian turned to Iyaden and back at Jack, he didn't know she was following him really, guessing his mind wasn't on the situation at hand. He looked towards the two and said, "Iyaden, stay here with Jack and take care of her, I'll continue on to engineering and see too that fire." He told her and started off again, if she followed him then Jack could just take Shae back to medical.

As he ran through the hallway he couldn't help but think about the situation they had gotten themselves in. He remembered the pirate ship, remembered how he talked big, about taking a ship in the hangar with a small security force to take them on before realizing that they may or may not have had the experience he did. Then they lost control of the ship, causing the planetfall, which ended with him gripping a guard rail in one of the halls and dislocating, and quickly relocating, his shoulder. He looked at his watch during the run and saw that what felt like a day turned out to be only a few short hours. He looked up in time to stop at the engineering door, almost running into it. He checked the door's handle to make sure the fire wasn't right inside before opening it and dashing in, setting his priority on finding an extinguisher.
