You could always have Shadow act of his own accord this round. He already feels like he's the dominant one in that relationship and he just got attacked, so it wouldn't be out of character.

It's sort of god-moding, yeah, but A) you're the GM, B) three other players would be held up otherwise, and C) it's already established that you'll take partial control of player's Pokemon during battles sometimes. I doubt anyone would complain about it.

And yeah, I see where you're comin' from, Lone. Your idea sounds best since actually it's not just 3 people being held up. It's EVERYONE else being held up. So I think I'll go with your idea if nothing's happened in 12 hours from now.

Something I just thought up say if I had of been on a journey in one if the other regions doing my pokemon quest having all the badges and a bunch of strong pokemon would I have been forced to leave them all with say prof oak when I came here?

I'll have to change what's going to be happening to Steve since the mass majority of what's happened to him so far has been part of another player's story. Hell, even Alexis is a holdover of Duo's story. But as things stand, I don't have enough information on Steve to create a story for him right now. I know his goal, but outside of that, I have almost no background knowledge on him other than he was born and raised in Lavaridge, so for right now, his story is going to be Alexis' story and he'll just be dragged along for the ride.

@Kaor- Sounds good. Writing going a bit slow since this post requires me do quite a bit of research, but it'll be up, at the very latest, in 2 hours. 3 if something distracts me.

So, just to make sure...the town Tsubaki's running for is Petalburg, correct? I mean, you just said she made tracks for "the nearby town unimpeded." That's nice and all, but if I'm going to make my post accurate, I need to know whether she returned to Petalburg, or is somewhere else now. Judging by how it still says "in Petalburg" above her name, I'm guessing it's that...but I'd like some confirmation first. ^_^;;

with a little bit of reading it seams my pidgey might already know how to fly by itself normally you would think the mother would have thought him how to fly or how ever that works with the parents
but I'm guessing by the fact there is only one episode where a pidgey has to shown how to fly I should be good.

I thought I answered this one before, but I'll say it again: For the sake of not making Gym Leaders just fancy-titled Trainers, you need the appropriate gym badge and HM to use a move. There can be close approximations such as hovering, but out and out flying is a no unless you've got the HM for it.

I don't mean out right flying like can my pokemon know how to hover already instead of me teaching it?
and something else I thought of while reading up on pidgey an evasion tactic it uses in the wild sounds like sand attack

" It is known to flush out potential prey from long grass by flapping its wings rapidly. This maneuver also serves to protect Pidgey from enemies. If disturbed, a Pidgey is capable of creating a blinding cloud of dust, allowing it make its escape. This evasive technique can also be applied to battles. "

think I could learn sand attack too or learn them one at a time?

oh and the other thing that comes to mind about the flying bit... I don't think the pidgey that brought my pokenav had a trainer with a badge...

Dealing with family issues. Namely, my mom stealing my money and putting me in debt. The post will be up at some point today, but I've got more than a few things to sort through first.
