(rolled an 11) "Stay here, we need some one to stand watch." Hurati turns and with a brief hesitation, walks down outside. While walking, he turns his head slightly to say, "Better not leave eh? We need a sentry or others will die." Saying this, he disappears into the brush in front of him.

Luis Picks Up His Radio And Says:
"Found Them Yet???? You Should Come Back Soon If You Haven't Wouldn't Want You In Any Trouble!!!!"

Shae had been nearing her room, when she heard Luis Silva's voice over the intercom. She thought for a moment, trying to remember who the voice belonged to, and recalled it was the man on her team. Grumbling to herself, she turned away from her room, without even having gotten her clothes, and began heading toward the science department. Her progress was slow, however, due to her wounded leg and the IV stand she was using as a crutch getting caught on occasion. As she went, she heard multiple things over the intercom, including Luis saying his notes would be left in the Science Department. Eventually, she reached the science department, and was appalled to see it. Her sanctum was a mess. Everything had been thrown about in the crash.

She slows walks through the wreckage, a depressed look on her face, until she notices an old friend of hers. Although it was wrinkled and had a few things thrown on top of it, her overcoat had still been in the department when she retreated to her bunk. She picks it up, and puts it on, to cover the bandages over her abdomen, then sighs as she sees the many small holes and tears in it. Continuing to scour, she finds the notes Luis Silva had mentioned, and begins looking over them. Although the calculations appear to be valid, Shae stands resolute against herself that it won't work. With complete disregard for her companion, she tears the papers in half, then tosses them aside.

Rummaging, about, she finds a small pad of paper, and reaches up to her ear to grab her pencil out of habit. However, there wasn't a pencil to be grabbed, so she instead reaches into one of the pockets of her overcoat. She feels a pencil that had been snapped in half, and angrily pulls it out. She finds a relatively clear spot on the "floor", and sits down, making notes in the pad, occasionally tearing a page off, crumpling it up, and tossing it aside.

((Rolled a 7 on 1d10, and have 13 combined science and int (6 int, 7 science). I'll leave it to the GMs discretion whether I make progress.))

Luis Says On The Inter Comm:
"Hey Anyone Want To Swift Shifts With Me On This Here Turret i Would Really Like To Get A Meal!!!"

Having stepped inside the main reactor room, Halina looked around at the damage that had been caused by the fire. Using her innate skills in scaling, she manages to climb up the damaged walls and onto the reactor itsself (climb check - 10+2=12 - success).

Letting out a long sigh, she starts to inspect the damaged, and offline reactor (d10=3 +3 Int+5 Eng = 11 - success). 'Hmmm. Not that bad. No active power moving through the system, and mostly superstructure damage. May need to replace some of the injection coils, but the reaction chamber itsself appears to be intact. Probably only take a few hours to get it all fixed up, so long as I can find the parts'

Sitting down for a moment, she pulls a fag out of it's packet and sticks it between her teeth. She grins to herself, looking around the damaged reactor room. "Don't you worry, Marion. I'll get you fixed right up. Maybe even make some improvements that I've been thinking of"

Luis Says Threw The Inter Comm:
"Hey Halina Think You Can Fix This Here Turret Getting Tired Of Manually Having to Aim it"

Halina slides off the reactor and pick up the com line. "You want me to fix the turret? Sure. Before or after I fix the ractor?" There is a note of srcasm in her voice

Luis Thinks To Him Self:
"Really Ain't Back Yet??? ..... That's Horrible They Better Be Ok!"
Luis Reaches For His PDA And Starts Researching The Right Cal. he Thinks To Him Self:
"Since Hurati Said I Couldn't Use The Damn Cannon Better Use The Cannon Battery's Hmmm Maybe I Can Use The Right Portion And Cal. To Do It... YES THAT'S IT!!!!
Luis Starts Researching On His PDA(Rolled:8 INT+Science= 14 GM REQUIRED)

Halina sighs to herself and opens up the comm line again. "Hey, Luis. Is getting that turret fixed a priority, because the backup reactors will only go so far until I get the main reactor fixed. Besides, arn't there any other members of my staff available to help right now?"

[TechScience]

Luis Respondes:
"Well Since No One Execpt You Answered i'll say no i don't think so at least...."

Luis Thinks for Awhile and Says:
"Hey Halina As You Know Im Trying to Do A Implosion But Hurati says using the cannon would be a bad ideia would it be better if I used the cannon batteries to do the implosion or not???"

Halina scratched her left ear. Still stung from the cut. "Well Luis, I'd have to look over your notes, but from an engineering standpoint, I'd say just charging the cannon battery isn't going to do much at all, and detonating it would probably do more harm than good. If you're planning on getting this ship the right way up, I'd say that the manuvering thrusters would be a better option. Might take some time to get them working again, but at least it would be controlled"

Halina turned to get back to work on the reactor, but stopped and thaught to herself 'Hang on. We have a scientist manning a turret? Where the hell is all the securty? And wouldn't an implosion be a bad thing'. Grumbling to herself, she abandoned all but the most useful of her tools, and dashed off toward the main turret.

After a fair jog, she arrived and climbed up into the turret, and started checking over it's systems. There was a trickle of power going to it, but not enough to create any kind of detonation without there being either a power reroute, or having the main reactor back online again. Leaning back against one of the walls, she looked around at all the equipment. Not in too bad shape, all things considered. Cracking her knuckles, she got to work on making sure that the cannon was workable. After all, if the pirates showed up, they would need something to defend themselves with

[Demon]

"Luis, I have checked your notes.... It will not be possible" Aerith's voice sounded in the intercom.....

All players on the ship, please make a Perception check (alertness)

After writing for a while, and tearing through nearly the entirety of the notepad, Shae believes she has a way of figuring out how to fix their less-than-upright scenario. She pushes off some of the junk scattered around her, and stands up. Grasping her makeshift cane, she proceeds pushing her way out of the Science Department, as she stuffs the notepad and pencil into one of her pockets.

As she walks, she notices that it had seemed to get darker, and was much more difficult to see. However, she continues heading towards what she hopes memory serves to be the Engineering Wing of the ship. When she thinks she's close, she calls out, "Hey! Uhh... Damn it, what's her name... Whatever. Engineering woman. I have an idea how to get the ship up. You there?"

((Woo! Rolled a whopping total of 4 for alertness! Rolled a 4, +1 stat, -1 from night... Something tells me Shae's not gonna see something.))
