Yeah, fair enough. I just can't get that "try to limit to 30 pages" thing out of my head...pretty annoying, in all honesty. I mean, I may be a free-spirited guy, but I'm also rather considerate...and I can understand how a topic becomes a hassle on networking stuff when it reaches a certain number of pages.

It's kind of like an artist having such a large-scale idea, but can only implement it on a relatively-limited canvas size. Eventually, you find yourself asking "how do I make it fit," and such. Not to mention that as an aspiring game developer, I know there's a point at which the content reaches that "too much" point, and you need to trim things down for technical purposes. I mean, trying to run something like Starcraft 2 or Skyrim on Windows 98 would be...well, stupid.

i agree with napsii on that one I`m rather envious of it but I suppose that comes with being a story writer of sorts huh? and also I can`t wait for the final battle either becuase this is definietely my fav RP on here :3

Well, from my perspective, putting thought into this stuff is a great start for making it a good experience overall. It's kind of like trying to make a movie or game: if you don't put enough thought into it, the final product will seem incomplete and/or half-assed, and nobody wants that.

but yes i think its really the thought you put into the posts that counts ive been in threads on a lot of sites where the TM only gave us like 1 fuckin line and it was so pathetic. ROTP turned out well because the posts were juicy

Uhh yeah...hate to break it to you, but...This is not necessarily a "real" captain. Improbable as it may be, there are some COs out there who actually care about their team-mates.

Besides, Greg's more kind-hearted approach is something that few Stilettos have ever understood. Truth be told, many think of him as a "pussy" because of it, but Jon (being the close friend that he is) knows that Greg does it to keep his fellow operatives' morale high and their tensions low. That's pretty important on a team of cream-of-the-crop soldiers, because the work environment is stressful enough without a drill sergeant-y commander breathing down your necks.
