Yeah, that'll happen. If folks respond quickly after I've posted something, I'll sometimes try to fit in a second post.

I'd prefer to continue along, honestly. The sooner people form groups, the sooner the story gets really interesting.

Alrighty, I'll work yah back into this, though honestly not too much has happened between then and now outside of the ruins subplot which is only "technically" affecting a few folks (with everyone else joining in of their own volition).

Will get a post up tomorrow since it's spring break, so I've got a bit of free time outside of the half dozen engineering projects due when I get back.

It's the beginning of the main plotline that was created way back in January...


If you want to know badly enough who Vash really is, I drop hints here and there laced into various character's posts without giving away too much in any of them. Specifically I've dropped hints in yours, Rayle's, Ing's and Garian's posts through different parts of the story (again, off the top of my head without actually checking in detail... There may be more). Rayle's is probably the oldest while Ing/Garian's is the newest.

Of course, that would ruin the surprise for yah!



EDIT: And on a slightly unrelated note, I REALLY need to go back and make sure to apply all the changes that have happened since I came back to the reference sheets. ERMERGHERD! I've fallen so far behind!

Ugh, fell asleep on top of my computer for four hours... I really need to fix my sleep schedule.

Just finishing up the map and I'll have a post up. It's probably going to be the last one until Wednesday evening.


I've been tossing the idea back and forth, and i'm not completely satisfied with this thought process since if there's one thing I hate most in the world it's asking for help, but at the same time I keep thinking it's unfair to you guys for me to keep running things the way they've been run...

Would anyone be interested in assistant DMing? The job would pretty much entail handling fights/sex scenes/rewards when I'm severely limited on time and can only get a post out every so often for the main plot. It'd give folks who are more interested in simply RPing than they are in the main plot plenty more to do around this rather extensive sandbox I've set up (that feeling when folks have only explored something like a tenth of the world). Only real requirement would be the ability to roll D20s, apply bonuses, and have modest writing skills (I'd need a sample "encounter" piece and "smut" piece of a monster(s) of your choice) to uphold quality.

EDIT: In other news, I might be in the process of reconstruction to give this RP more stability. By the time I'm done you might be looking at a rehash "Wastelands 2.0" thread just to make it more friendly to newcomers. What changes and alterations to how things run/are handled would you like to see take place?

I've got a big Engineering project to work on through April (they're making freshman Mech E. majors virtually create rocket launching bases with full schematics and price lists...) May should be really chill though after the first week, so I'll try to start incorporating them again when I can.

Ideally, one post on Tuesday evening or Wednesday afternoon/evening, and one post on the weekends (probably Saturdays).

As it stands, just looking at my schedule there won't be a post this Tuesday, and possibly not this Wednesday because the time I would've spent on it is being spent on last-minute adjustments to my spring break project (building a squirrel-proof birdfeeder in solidworks/studying for a calculus test), but then it should be back on track. Unfortunately school/work comes first, so I'll try to keep you all informed when there's an issue with this posting schedule in advance. April's gonna be a hectic month, but May should be much more manageable since most of my classes have finished their hard work/are done by then.

I'd like to know too, if there is one.

My idea is to play a half elf/half orc sort of Shamaness/Priestess whose diety is a Chaos God or perhaps simply a powerful Chaos Spirit. Her goal in the wastes would be to spread chaos, whether by aiding the forces of purity or by assisting the hordes of corruption, most likely both. Or, at the very least, something akin to a Wild Mage. Would that be possible?
