The map between the two regions shows that the passage between the two borders doesn't pass through the E4. I'd just need to go east from New Bark by boat, and we could conceivably meet in Viridian!

Could I ask for Hunter's INT to be lowered to 2? Bit more in-character that way, unless it represents battling knowledge too
