Exactly. I may be getting offensive powers later, but all I have right now are crowd control abilities.

well for the gun system may need someone who knows guns for this.

was intending to have the gun store set up like this

Enhancements: (mod parts such as a silencer)

and if the person who wants to cover guns wants to cover more, feel free to. Though can only carry a set number of guns, which is affected by their physical strength as well as heavy holsters (for heavy weapons such as dual handed weapons like shotguns) or light holsters (for single hand weapons like handguns) as well as pockets in the outfit (applies as a light holster)

gun store is used for mods, ammo, and weapons. and possibly, maybe can start with a gun but will have to clear it first

Well, here's the gun in detail. I pretty much know the answer, but you let me know for sure before I change it.

It's a .44 mag/16 gauge LeMat revolver mechanism built into a custom frame. It holds 9 rounds/ 1 shell

So the mechanism on the top with the barrel and handle style on the bottom. Chromed with black grip. Both barrels would be inside the black bar there.

Clearly, I haven't actually tried to build this monstrosity, but I'm taking things like ammunition sizes from the specs of LeMat's that have been made before. I'd just as happily make it a .38 special and it goes without saying that I won't be starting with magnum/special ammunition.

(Don't give me that look. I can know stuff, too. I researched the hell out of this thing years back for a character and it's been kind of a reoccurring weapon for me ever since.)

Not sure what extent starting weapons can go to, but I was thinking Jon would either start out with twin pistols, or with an SMG, as far as ranged weapons go. If allowed, I'd also have him starting with a combat knife for up-close encounters, but if not, his CQC should be able to suffice. For the twin pistols idea, I figured I'd keep it simple, and go with the tried-and-true Glock design. In an urban environment, it's how you use the weapon that really matters, not what sort of ammo it carries.

actually, in the case of that hand cannon up there it's a benefit to use standard ammunition in most situations. less kick = better accuracy when you take more than one shot at a time. Usually when I give this weapon to a character I pair it with a G-18 for more practical use (well, it goes from practical to clusterfuck with the flip of a switch, but you know what I mean) but I figured this character would have had only minimal reason to own a gun other than intimidation and the rare gang dispute. It wasn't my intention to make this char very cqc capable with or without a weapon either.

I know that sounds kind of helpless, but I figured she'd learn along the way and be more likely to win fights by not playing fair.

I did think it out according to her career. Dirty fighting and intimidation tactics. She's perfectly capable of beating on people too afraid of being killed by the mob to retaliate, but she only has a tiny bit of anything resembling real fighting skills. She's pretty good at tracking and trapping people though.

Given Jon's mercenary background, he can make due with almost any firearm at the start. I just gave "twin pistols or SMG" as an initial idea, because I figured him lugging around something like an auto-shotgun or assault rifle at the start would be a bit overpowered. :lol:

My character is pretty much a stealth type to begin with, just needs some deadly plants/animals/mechas to duplicate.

You have to put into perspective damage caused by the blast as well if they were in the historic district. For example ethan was in point blank range of the blast. Which caused his gear to be torn apart with nothing salvageable minus clothing. Though question is how close were the characters.

In terms of proximity to the blast, Jon was basically on the fringes of its effective radius. He was close enough to see the flash, but not so close that something as sturdy as an SMG would be torn apart. If he was at the center of the blast, I think his Conduit powers might've been something more "physical" than his Data Trigger. ^_^;;

Mako was at the fringe of the Historic District, right near the bridge that connects it to the Neon. She passed over to the Neon before Cole accidentally blew up the bridge.

hmm... so we know the location of two so far. on the fringe would mean minimum damage considering things.

Just make sure to stay within human feasible limits of body. do that and I will be fine, it is more for blending in then anything. after all people will notice a 8 foot tall giantess looming over everyone. and age may want to alter a bit. remember, you were human before all this. which means she would have been a old women if she was that age.
