I've actually down-tuned the enemies a bit, so when you meet them later on, they will be as strong as they are supposed to be.

Just a headsup: The more players you are, the more enemies you have, the more the factor of strategy becomes important. (This is mainly directed at Daxtinator and Yukari whom are the only ones to have teamed up so far, which is good to do.)

Also, try and think about the small hints I give you now and then. It may be a vague hint, such as the tail of the neko that wags around, slowly turning stiff, or an actual tooltip. Also, checking your inventory or your character to see how your shapes are coming along is good to do now and then as well.
