On the topic of light cantrips: is night vision considered one?

No. Cantrips can't deal damage or cause status effects.

Night vision as an amplification of ambient light would be a cantrip.

Then true night vision is considered a supplementary combat spell then?

True night vision (increased retinal fidelity and decreased retinal noise) is a racial bonus. True night vision (light amplification inside the eye) is a supplemental Light spell.

Also, fake night vision (dark vision) is a racial feat that dark users can use to blind opponents while still able to see. It is the ability to see the particles of Darkness that they emit, essentially making their light the enemy's dark.

Yes I just made up the dragons Templar figured they could be a secret order that was formed in the later years of the dragons being hunted down and killed they would also be the ones who made the cave

Sorry, that doesn't make sense. I'm gonna ret-con that as Saphira getting really talkative and speculating about these things; there's no logical reason why a recently born dragon who hasn't interacted with any traces of ancient dragon lore would know that much about the past workings of the Dragons.

Having a secret organization build a cave to save the Dragons makes sense, but for Saphira to know that and furthermore to reveal that doesn't make sense.

fair enough I'll just go on the idea she was just making a name up as she went lol

and what's to say that sanowa didn't look into it and at least find out there was a organization called that?
or would that be considered god modding?

If the Dragons Templar were a public organization, then sure. Since they were an organization secretive enough to keep their caves and ways hidden for over 400 years, I wouldn't allow you to know about them without finding out during the campaign, and definitely not as an unchecked action.

ok fair enough we can pretend she didn't say dragons Templar seeing Elsa didn't respond to that part and use that name later because that is a cool name
