Huh, Laughing, that is actually pretty smart. I didn't think about it, but that is actually an option, to run away from this particular quest. We can rectify doing so, so we will.
Reminds me of a Zombie RP with a cursed town where we won by enchanting a car to break through the barrier surrounding the town, while being chased by everyone else in the town for being demons. It was fun, instead of proving our innocence and the fact that we were trying to save them, we just decided to leave since they treated us poorly. It wasn't the GM's plan, but he let us do so anyway because of how hilarious it was, and because of us managing to enchant the car against all the odds of getting 18+ three times in a row. So in the end, we won by ditching the story line, and lived happily ever after.
