Thanks Goryokaku Red Mane Side is up, Currently typing Taimanin side

Edit Taimanin Side up.

I just wanted to clarify some of the rules for combat because it looks like we're gonna have a battle royale:

1: If your character is hit three time they have been defeated. The final blow can't be made using a sub weapon
2:All Ninja Art's/ Special Techniques need to have a clear duration. Looking through them. Some of the ones I thought were a one time use actually have a longer run time and vice-versa. So beside the skill note the duration of the skill. This is especially true for summons and buffs
3:Ninja Art's/ Special Techniques can be used more then once but at diminishing returns. The idea is that using it takes everything you have to use it . So to use it again is close to impossible. using a Technique a second time results in a -1 penalty that stacks by 2 every time you try to use it. So using the skill a third time will result in a -3 penalty.
4:During your turn you can make one action per turn. You can either attack, use magic, protect another player, or use a sub weapon. Also indicate if you character will evade (Dex) of block (Con) incoming attacks.
5: If you have an attack that does AOE Damage it requires a turn charge. So keep that in mind.
6:I'm going to be doing initiative rolls before the battle starts just so we have some order during battles.

You can all make a few adjustments to your character sheets if you need to. I'll put this on the front page. PM me if you need to clear anything up.

Something I didn't really think about regarding my technique, while we're on this subject: how much does it heal Jill, exactly? Since we're using that "3 strikes you're out" system in combat, would it only erase 1 strike, or would it be pretty much a full heal?

@Goryokaku

Looks good.

@Zender_SolarHeart

Why don't we use the scale in the first post to decide. the better your roll the more you heal so:

11-13: 1 Point
14-16: 2 Points
17-20: Full Heal

Sorry about any confusion. I just wanted everything to be clear before we got knee deep into a battle royal.

tis fine this is stuff we need to know, so it helps if we have it known in advance before scrapping begins.

Yep it's good. For the poison gas, are you fine with it being normal strength (-1 Str, Dex, Int & Wis)?

@KnightVanilla

How vulnerable are the hounds? How many hits does it take to take one down?

@Everyone

What do people think of the idea of special attacks being unblockable and unavoidable unless you use a special attack in response? This mainly applies to some of the more direct attacks.

Seems a bit to op to me. People should be smart enough to be able to set up their trump cards and use them properly I think.

For the ninja art I'm fine with it, being unavoidable unless something equivalent is used to dodge it, but it think it should be dependant on the type of ninja art it is.

Don't worry I'm on it. Was just pulled away from my computer for a bit.

Yea I think I'll drop the idea I mentioned above. Normal combat rules apply to specials.

The health varies the tankiest of the dogs is the strongest and the ones that are more like glass are the fast hounds. I'll let you decide how many hits each of them take. But the Tether and Spark and supposed to be able to take hits.

I'm fine with that. They are supposed to be overwhelming in one way or another. Wouldn't make since for someone to be able to simply side-step one
