Sounds interesting, I might sign up for it if scheduling permits. I’m not super picky either way as most stuff I’m into is monsterfied anyways

I am vaguely considering trying to run a group game of something or other. I haven't settled on an idea yet, but would probably go with 3-4 players. I'd either seek to go with RISUS as a system, or just go with one of my default sort of semi-homebrew things (using D&D stats or fallout stats with 4d6 drop the lowest to determine scores, then rolling being on a 1d100 x1-5 scale for difficulty and the idea being to get under the target number)

Bouncing between something traditional fantasy and something more modern, though could do something along the lines of a modern fantasy (thinking maybe something where the PC's gain access to another world, sort of along the lines of persona perhaps)

I tend to prefer fantasy over modern, for what it's worth.

Also, if I can get at least four people interested, I'll press forward with the Mausritter idea, probably going with a general anthro world instead of being pint-sized.

A persona like RP sounds pretty interesting

For those who were interested in Mausritter:

The game requires a fair amount of rolling dice for character generation. Would everyone prefer to roll for themselves and just self-report on an honor system, or have me do all the rolling and send the results to the people who apply?

I have no idea what the rolling would result in either way. I guess if we have to make a decision with the rolling we could do it or just ask you to do it?

Might iron things out further then for the vague idea I had for such, and come up with a thread later this coming week.

As for the mouse game, fine with either.

Anyone still planning to do a group game? It’d be cool to be playing in one rather than running.

Had an idea for a group game recently, so I guess I would post here to probe for interest/suggestions.

The basic rub is the player characters would take the part of formless entities brought into being by a monstrous deity, either as blank slates or maybe as reincarnated humans (solely for people wanting to characterize the blob). Depending on character creation choices (considering having broad categories, like "humanoid" "beast" "aberration"), the entity takes on the form of a different RPG monster, and through choices made in-character, ala litRPGs, gaining new traits/abilities and going down different pathways to become stronger/more advanced monsters of that class.

So, someone who decides to become, say, a slime, might just start off as a little blob with a few traits associated with being a puddle of goop (blindsense, stretchy, ect). If the player has them spend a lot of time around human settlements, they might advance to become a slimegirl if they find themselves mimicking/seducing humans, or become something more predatory like an ooze if they primarily hunt instead of fuck. Someone bestial might start off as a basic wolf or other animal who approaches situations forcefully and without mercy might advance towards becoming a minotaur, whereas someone who tries to employ trickery and cunning might become a kitsune, and someone who coordinates with other monsters into something like a werewolf.

It'd require a little bit of back and forth between player and GM (but I don't wanna be a harpy!), but I think it'd be fun.

Hell yeah, love me a good monster RP. Maybe each player could end up leading their own sect for this monster god.

The transforming Monster RP piques my interest as well. Would the monstrous deity have some sort of purpose for these monsters or goals for them to achieve, or are they just setting them loose free to sow whatever kind of chaos they may chose.
