ExplanationStill somewhat new and honestly have no idea if there are enough bronies and pegasisters on here to actually do this but it's an idea I had after reading a story on fimfic called Xenophilia. The story itself is beautiful but one of the best things about the story is the world building behind it (the main points of which being that most gender based social ideals are reveresed due to the 1 male to 4-5 female ratio, also that polygamy largely practiced due to that massive gender imbalance), going so far to create and explain an entire culture and history for a small HIE story. Almost needless to say this small story spawned several fanfics that use that same world. This is my own twist but using a lot of the same ideas.
WorldSet before the unification this rp explores a much darker era of pony history, nearly 300 years after have gone past since the sister princesses have all but disappeared from the world.
But even then their legacy goes on among pony kind in the form of myth and legend, as the goddesses Lunae and Solari.
Solari is the goddess of life, harvest and most of all light.
Lunae is the goddess of war, power, darkness, and vengeance.
In recent decades a slew of trade and prosperity has coursed through the country of Equestria, allowing the three races of pony kind to establish their own kingdoms and factions.

What once were a race of free roaming nomads and traders have now united under the banner of the Pegasus Republic, which now begins to flex its newly organized influence and military might across the country. Expanding their territories with the strength of their legions.

A race that praised and rewarded magical prowess, these ponies often carved out grand city states each ruled by their own lord, through time these states became ruled by their own royal herds, the decedent families of those lords. Though conflict wasn't unusual between the rivaling rulers now a bigger enemy threatens all of their sovereign holds. The Pegasai. Now with a common enemy the headmares of the several royal herds have formed a high council to help organize and combat the growing Pegasus Republic.

This race is one of the hardiest if not the most mistreated, untold years of slavery and serfdom has been all there is for many of this kind, until 30 years ago when the first earth pony settlement revolted against their unicorn masters and established a new nation under the bloodstained flag of warlord Ironclad, under this single mare's rule the earth pony nation has grown exponentially with more liberated and escaped serfs pledging themselves each day. But now as Lord Ironclad reaches her old age, her many supporters and even her own family scramble to gain the right to inherit her position.

An unrecognized, unrespected and ultimately powerless group that itself encompasses roughly 1/5 of every population. The life of a male in every pony race is roughly the same, being ordered by, controlled and sometimes even belonging to the members of the opposite sex. Treated as inferiors in nearly all situations the life of a buck will usually take one of three paths often depending on the wealth of the herd they are born into, poor herds usually have their bucks stolen or sold into slavery. Merchant or town dwelling herds will have their bucks either acting as a father or hired to work demeaning jobs, lucky ones would be taught a trade, though most were uneducated and couldn't even read. Though males born into royal and rich families were treated better they had even less control over their own lives, being raised in the proper image a gentlestallion so they may be married off to gain their mother-herd power and political connections.
