Is there a topic where we sum up all the strange thing a noob will discover through "surprise flash buttsex" ?
Like this random affectation, or the fact calling to a sendandload function don't delay the execution of parent functions, when everything kind of wait, usually.
Or how keyframing with masks tend to mess up covered movieclip dynamic follow-up. ("why the hell do my colors come back to default in this loop ??")
Or the magnificent "NaN", that I still struggle with to this day, which is not null, not undefined, and still appears out of nowhere even with "parseInt" everywhere, lol
That said, flash doesn't kill you when you test a non-existing variable.
It's... kind of really nice, after doing some web javascript.
I love to hate you, Flash, but I don't hate you really, you know, please don't leave me
