Flash 8?

Postby Yuukah » Sat Jun 29, 2013 5:10 pm

I worked much with Macromedia Flash 8 and its much fun. Now i want to do some Flashgames like that here. I really want to test some sprites, but i cant open it.
Of course you have an other version (cs5?) but i have flash 8. Should i get the new version or stay at flash 8?. Is flash 8 compatible with cs 5? I would rly like to stay at flash 8..
Is there a way that i can use it?

You need at least the version of Flash that the file was created in. So go straight to CS6 while you're at it.

Generally Flash programs can go backwards, but obviously not forwards. If you were looking at a specific FLA or game in general, you could try sending a PM to that author to see if they will convert the FLA into a Flash 8 readable format for you - the code will probably be decaye, but at least you can get your hands on the sprites
