RPG Maker VX Ace Tutorials?

Could any of the RPG Maker Pros here point me in the direction of some good and easy to understand tutorials? Most of the help I need is in event creation and understanding how the stats actually work for players, abilities, enemies, and items and such (Oh, and variables, I never really got around to figuring those out.)

If anyone also knows where I can find some spare patience, that would also be very helpful.

I haven't used RPGM in a while but if you want i could probably walk you through some things, i would just need a few specifics, such as, what kind of event are you trying to do, what don't you understand about the stats and the like...


And just as a heads up, i work a lot, so i may not be very coherent when i post here...if i say something that makes you turn your head sideways and just stare at it...just let me know >.<
